Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand how the Code of Ethics for State Civil Servants is regulated and implemented in the Bengkulu City Government. It aligns with one of the areas of change outlined in the 2020-2024 bureaucratic reform roadmap, which focuses on improving the mindset of Indonesian state civil servants. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which involves case studies and in-depth research within a specific unit. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that several factors hinder the effective implementation of the Code of Ethics among State Civil Servants in Bengkulu City. These factors include a lack of understanding of the regulations, insufficient recognition for exemplary employees, leniency in enforcing disciplinary sanctions, declining employee discipline, and inadequate supervision

Abstract

Potato is an interesting root crop used for food security due to its early maturity and compatibility with double cropping for farmers in the midlands of the Guji zone. However, using verified tuber seed is challenging for potato production. Therefore, verifying improved potato variety in the form of demonstration prior to large extension is necessary on the specified agroecology. This study was conducted to increase farmers' knowledge and abilities in potato cultivation, measure productivity and profitability, and assess farmers' preferences for potato farming. Adola Rede and Arda Jila Mea Boko districts were purposefully chosen. Twelve farmers were selected and planted Gudane and Zemen varieties on a 10x10m area with 70 and 30 cm inter and intra row spacing, respectively. Training was employed to help farmers enhance their knowledge and skills. Interviews were conducted to gather information about yield, production costs, and farmer preferences. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, and net benefit. The demonstration results revealed that the Gudane variety yielded 20.8 t/ha, while the Zemen variety yielded 17.09 t. There was a significant difference in mean yield between Gudane and Zemen variety production at 0.001 levels. Production of Gudane and Zemen varieties returned 117083.33 birr/ha and 87416.67 birr/ha, respectively. Farmers preferred Gudane variety due to its higher yield and tolerant to disease than Zemen variety. Thus, Gudane variety was recommended for large extension production at midland districts of Guji zone

Abstract

Drug research in wives is a critical district that has acquired growing consideration in recent ages. Historically, mothers have diminished in clinical tests, chief to a lack of understanding about in what way or manner drugs influence them otherwise distinguished to brothers. This information gap has important associations for drug security and efficiency, as physiological dissimilarities between genders can impact drug absorption, productiveness, and adverse belongings. In answer, skilled has existed a growing importance on containing girls in dispassionate trials and attending grammar principles that apply to nouns with sexual or animated connotations reasonings to guarantee that drugs are safe and persuasive for two together people interested in something. This paper provides an overview of the significance of containing mothers in drug-producing research. It discusses the classical circumstances of feminine bias in dispassionate trials and the supervisory changes that have been executed to address this issue. The paper again highlights the corporeal and hormonal distinctnesses middle from two points people that can influence drug responses. Furthermore, the paper tries to the challenges and space in drafting and maintaining women in dispassionate tests, containing righteous considerations and educational determinants

Abstract

The yield of oil palm fronds is 8.4 tons/ha/year [1], a huge potential that has not been used optimally. Particle Cement Board (PCB) is a biocomposite that uses inorganic adhesive, namely cement, to bind biomass particles into a board. Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) is a biocomposite that combines plastic and biomass particles molded into boards. This study used the same biomass particles—oil palm fronds—to analyze the properties of PCBs and WPCs. Characteristics assessment by measuring and testing physical and mechanical properties were density, moisture content, water absorption, thickness swelling, elasticity (MOE and MOR), and internal bond strength (IBS) of oil palm fronds PCB (refers and compared to JIS A 5417-1992 and SNI 8299-2017 standards) and WPC (refers and compared to JIS A 5908-2003 and SNI 03-2105-2006 standards). The test results on the PCB are density 1.143 g/cm3, moisture content 8.429%, water absorption 26.414%, thickness swelling 1.368%, MoE 188.899 N/mm2, MoR 5.765 N/mm2, and IBS 0.054 N/mm2. The test results on the WPC are density 0.84 g/cm3, moisture content 2.36%, water absorption 16.21%, thickness swelling 7.11%, MoE 590.87 N/mm2, MoR 13.40 N/mm2, and IBS 0.31 N/mm2. Oil palm fronds is quite well used as a raw material for making particle cement board (PCB) and Wood Plastic Composite (WPC)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the lyrics of Glenn Fredly song "Tinggikan" using Van Dijk critical analysis discourse analysis. The problem that arises in this study is what are the models of Teun A. van Dijk that appear in the lyrics of the song. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this study was the lyrics of the song "Tinggikan" by Glenn Fredly. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation and then recording and grouping them based on the critical discourse analysis model initiated by Teun A. van Dijk.  Findings from the study show that Glenn Fredly lyrics of the song "Tinggikan" adhere to three levels of discourse analysis of Teun A. van Dijk model, namely: (1) macrostructure; (2) superstructure, and (3) microstructure

Abstract

Using data from Telkom University Bandung students, this study seeks to determine the relationship between menu innovation, packaging innovation, experience innovation, and consumer engagement and brand evangelism. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, the research model is constructed. The findings of the study indicate that brand evangelism can be impacted by consumer engagement, which is reciprocally influenced by multidimensional innovation. The relationship between brand evangelism, menu innovation, packaging innovation, and experience innovation is mediated by customer engagement. This study possesses numerous ramifications for organizations seeking to cultivate brand evangelism. Organizations must persist in their efforts to innovate menus, merchandising, and deliver enhanced consumer experiences

Abstract

The cosmetics industry is one of the industries that is currently an important necessity in people's daily lives. The cosmetics industry is an important industry for the economy. The green cosmetics industry in Indonesia has great growth potential. This study aims to validate the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) models in predicting public attitudes towards purchasing intentions for environmentally friendly cosmetic products. Environmental concern, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control (PBC), are expected to influence consumer decisions to buy green cosmetic products in Indonesia. This study's sample technique was nonprobability sampling. This is a sample approach that is chosen based on subjective assessment. Purposive sampling is the method utilized. The research sample consisted of customers who had used and purchased green cosmetic products in Indonesia who were then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique in this research

Abstract

Indonesia offers a unique travel experience with diverse cultures, religions, ethnicities and languages on each island. The Twin Lakes region in West Sumatra is one such amazing destination, despite experiencing a decline in visitation from 2019 to 2023. In the age of the internet and social media, advertising and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) can strengthen a destination's image, increase traveler interest and influence visiting decisions. The study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to evaluate the influence of destination image and eWOM on interest in visiting the Twin Lakes Region. The implications of this research are important in building tourist interest and a positive image of this destination. By providing interesting information, we can influence tourists' decision to visit
