Abstract

This study focuses on observing how much damage to concrete in the mixing and maintenance process using brackish water with variations in the type of cement brand and its effect on the compressive strength of concrete K-175 (Normal Concrete) with curing 28 days and knowing the relationship between the modulus of elasticity and strain on the compressive strength of concrete. The results showed that the highest compressive strength of concrete at the design age of 28 days was 253.790 Kg/cm² or 20,447 MPa using brackish water and a mixture of Gresik cement materials followed by Tiga Roda cement of 20.313 MPa, Conc cement of 19,506 MPa and Holcim cement of 17,236 MPa. So that the relationship between compressive strength and modulus of elasticity and strain due to cement variations shows a value of R = 0.9999 or reaches a value of 1 so that it has a very significant effect.

Abstract

In general, the water used for making concrete is water with a pH of 7, as well as the standard testing in the Lab, but in reality sometimes the work of making concrete in the field does not pay attention to the pH of the water used, such as the use of swamp water or well water made around the project site. The use of concrete structures that are in direct contact with sulfuric acid compounds will affect the quality of the compressive strength of concrete because sulfuric acid can corrode concrete. This study observes how much damage to the concrete if in the mixing and maintenance process using acid water with a pH level <7 and the effect on the compressive strength of concrete with curing duration of 3, 7, 14, and 28 days. The highest compressive strength of concrete at a design age of 28 days is 240,196 Kg/cm² or 19,237 MPa using acid water in a concrete mixture using Conch brand cement, followed by Gresik cement at 18,167 MPa, Tiga Roda cement at 16,837 MPa and Holcim cement at 16,837 MPa.

Abstract

Housing is a group of houses that function as a residential or residential environment equipped with environmental facilities and infrastructure. With the fulfillment of daily needs, smooth work, or the fulfillment of other needs so as to provide satisfaction for residents. A sense of satisfaction or not with the occupants of the environment they live in will be felt after settling for some time and knowing the state of their place of residence. This study aims to determine the level of satisfaction of residents living in the housing. The benefits provided are as a consideration for housing developers to pay attention to the factors that consumers want. This study uses index analysis and calculation of validity and reliability tests with the IBM SPSS Statistics Version 24.0 program. the population in this study were residents of the Wijaya Indah Residence housing estate, Kuala Pembuang. While the sample used was 35 respondents with the Proportional Random Sampling method. Based on the analysis that has been used, it can be concluded that the variables of price, building location and environment together have a positive effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Cabai merah kriting adalah komoditas sayuran di Indonesia sebagai bumbu dapur yang digunakan untuk keperluan rumah tangga dan keperluan industri bumbu masakan serta industri obat-obatan. Dalam budidaya cabai membutuhkan penggunaan fungisida untuk mengatasi serangan penyakit tanaman yang disebabkan oleh jamur. Pyraclostrobin adalah salah satu fungisida yang dapat mengatasi serangan jamur terhadap tanaman serta dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian pyraclostrobin terhadap hasil tanaman cabai merah kriting. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan petani, Dusun Kemiriombo, Kecamatan Dukun, Kota Muntilan. Waktu pelaksanaannya berlangsung pada bulan Desember 2013 sampai Juni 2014. Rancangan Percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok lengkap dengan faktor tunggal. Perlakuan dalam penelitian yaitu bahan aktif pyraclostrobin dengan dosis 1,5 kg/ha /aplikasi 2x; 1,5 kg/ha /aplikasi 3x; 1,5 kg/ha /aplikasi 4x; 3 kg/ha /aplikasi 2x; 3 kg/ha /aplikasi 3x; 3 kg/ha /aplikasi 4x; dan kontrol. Masing-masing perlakuan menggunakan 3 ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan sidik ragam α = 5 %, dilanjutkan dengan uji Kontras Ortogonal. Pemberian pyraclostrobin pada tanaman cabai merah kriting fase vegetatif hanya mempengaruhi lebar kanopi daun, tetapi dosis yang berbeda tidak memberikan pengaruh.

Abstract

The addition of other materials, especially natural fibers in normal concrete, certainly has its own way of analysis. The addition and in certain proportions may affect the behavior of the concrete structure as a whole. The effect of this change needs to be investigated to provide accurate information about the behavior and capacity of fibrous concrete, especially palm fiber. This study was to determine whether the addition of nipa fruit fibers increased the compressive strength of normal concrete mixtures, to determine the optimum level of addition of nipa fruit fibers that could affect the compressive strength of normal concrete. The compressive strength of concrete has increased with the addition of palm fiber as a substitute for some of the volume. The compressive strength of concrete with a variation of 0% is 19.640 MPa, a variation of 0.2% is 15,648 MPa, a variation of 0.4% is 11.875 MPa and a variation of 0.6% is 7.224 MPa. Partial replacement of nipah fruit fibers in the concrete mixture gave an increase in the compressive strength of concrete at 28 days with a variation of 0.2%. The design compressive strength fc' = 13.53 MPa while the resulting compressive strength is 15.648 MPa or an increase of 13.535%.

Abstract

Organisasi Pendidikan, Keilmuan, dan Kebudayaan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization/UNESCO) menunjukkan data persentase minat baca anak Indonesia berada di angka 0,01 persen. Angka itu berarti, dari 10.000 anak Indonesia, hanya satu anak yang senang membaca. Tentunya hal ini sangat memprihatinkan. Tidak hanya itu, disebutkan juga bahwa minat baca di Indonesia menempati urutan ke-63 dari 70 negara. Oleh karena itu, orangtua memiliki peran penting untuk menumbuhkan minat baca kepada anak, terutama anak yang masih berusia dini. Membaca sejak dini itu sangatlah  penting, orang tua sering menganggap bahwa masa kanak-kanak adalah masa bermain sehingga masa kecil mereka dihabiskan untuk bermain bersama teman sebaya.  Jika ada taman bacaan yang didirikan di lingkungan sekitar, hal itu bisa mengundang anak untuk datang dan membaca buku yang menarik sesuai dengan usia mereka. Orangtua bisa melakukan beberapa hal untuk menumbuhkan minat baca kepada anak, Salah satunya dengan membelikan buku yang menarik dan disukai anak. Sesuai minat anak-anak yang senang melihat gambar dan warna, Akan tetapi di era digital seperti sekarang ini, tidak semua sumber bacaan terutama buku dapat diakses dalam bentuk fisik, bisa juga diakses dan dibaca  dalam bentuk buku digital (ebook). Membuat dan mengembangkan sebuah Web yang mana Web tersebut berisi berberpa ebook (buku digital), dikarenakan tidak semua sumber bacaan terutama buku dapat diakses dalam bentuk fisik, Akan tetapi bisa juga diakses dan dibaca  dalam bentuk digital, Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah, Sedangkan untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik  obeservasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Dengan kehadiran buku digital telah mengubah kebiasaan membaca terutama dalam dunia pendidikan. Adanya buku digital tidak untuk menggantikan buku konvensional, ebook menjadi alternatif yang memudahkan seseorang untuk membaca buku.  Selain itu buku digital adalah media berbagi informasi yang mudah disebarluaskan. Sejauh ini buku digital merupakan pilihan alternatif sebagai sumber referensi, buku digital menyajikan informasi berupa teks, gambar, video, audio, maupun bentuk multimedia lain yang bisa dibuka melalui laptop, komputer, dan smartphone

Abstract

Optimasi query merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengetahui jalur query mana yang lebih efektif dan efisien untuk melakukan tahapan pengolahan data yaitu pada database management system (DBMS). Dengan menyamakan dari berbagai teknik optimasi dalam mendapatkan proses eksekusi data yang efisien dengan situasi tertentu. Dalam penelitian kali ini tahapan yang dilaksanakan dalam pengolahan data menggunakan teknik optimasi Nested Join Query dan Hash Join Query. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas kali ini jadi bagaimana cara menyandingkan kecepatan dalam pembuatan data query yang akan dilaksanakan join relasi dalam berbagai tabel dan melakukan dua teknik optimasi Nested Join Query dan Hash Join Query, sehingga dapat disimpulkan teknik mana yang lebih cocok dan lebih efisien. Pada langkah ini dapat dilaksanakan menggunakan PostgresSQL sebagai DBMS dan data yang dipergunakan merupakan database mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penginputan atau pengujian yaitu secara manual, sehingga dalam melakukan pengujiannya itu membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lumayan lama dan proses penginputannya data juga lebih banyak mengalami kesalahan. Dan hasil penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan query yang memiliki kecepatan eksekusi paling cepat yaitu Hash Join Query dengan kecepatan rata-ratanya query 3.82.

Abstract

Objective of this research is to know what is the correlation between safety work policy and employee performance in X Sugar Factory, Sidoarjo. X Sugar Factory is the company that produce sugar and processing cane. In the operation this company of course had a factory that used to processing cane to produce sugar. Thats why we need to know and analyze the implemented policy about safety work in this company, that is so important for safety work environtmen for the employee. This research collected primary and secondary data. Primary data collected by researcher and secondary data is about incident and safety work implementation in X Sugar Company. The research result showed that there is a positive and real correlation between safety work policy and employee performance. From that we know improvement in safety work policy is usefull to increase the employee performance in X Sugar Factory.

Abstract

So far, many industrial waste materials such as onyx sand, iron lathe fiber that have not been used optimally have been used as research materials as added materials in the manufacture of building materials and get pretty good results. One of the wastes that has not been utilized optimally is coconut shell wasteThis study aims to determine the effect of adding coconut shell fragments to the compressive strength of bricks and polynomial regression of the relationship between variations in coconut shell fragments and the compressive strength of bricks.The method used in this study was to conduct research at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya with variations in the addition of coconut shell fractions 0%, 2%, 4% and 6%.The test object of brick sized 40x20x10 cm. The variation of the experimental objects of brick without coconut shell, and brick with coconut shell is 2%, 4%, 6%. The tests included the compressive strength of the bricks with variations of 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% with a curing of 28 days. the use of coconut shells of nipah fiber as a partial replacement of cement for the compressive strength of bricks has an average value that has increased successively. The average value of the compressive strength of bricks is with variations in the addition of 0% palm fiber coconut shell of 20.09 kg/cm2 or 1.1760 MPa with a mixture of 2% palm fiber coconut shell of 21.70 Kg/cm² or 1.2847 MPa, with a mixture of 4% nipa palm fiber coconut shell at 28.73 Kg/cm² or 1.7710 MPa, and with a 6% palm fiber coconut shell mixture of 30.94 Kg/cm² or 1.9272 MPa. And the optimum level of coconut shell nipah fiber against the compressive strength of the brick mixture is a variation of 6%
