Abstract

The development of the boarding house business in the city of Pontianak is increasing, but this does not necessarily mean that potential consumers can easily find boarding houses. Information obtained from various media created by boarding house owners, such as uploading photos and videos on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and others, is considered to be less effective. The design thinking method is a collaborative method that collects many ideas to obtain a solution. Design Thinking has comprehensive thinking to get a solution with 5 method stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test, with this method you can solve existing problems. To connect boarding house owners and potential consumers, one way is to create a website-based application related to the availability of boarding rooms to make it easier for boarding house seekers to find boarding houses and boarding house owners to market boarding houses. To make the website usable well requires a website design that can be easily accessed or used either as a boarding house seeker or boarding house owner. Designing using the Design Thinking method makes it easier to create UI / UX for Adha Kost. Apart from that, designing the design using the Design Thinking method makes the design look more attractive and the items used are more complete in accordance with the user's needs.

Abstract

The study of Islamic Education Management focuses on certain formal and material elements. To improve the efficiency of managing Islamic educational institutions, this study attempts to combine Islamic principles with contemporary management techniques. Islamic education must balance between maintaining uniqueness and remaining relevant in the face of globalization. The purpose of this study is to examine the nature, extent, characteristics, and evolution of Islamic education management as a field of study. This study uses a descriptive-analytical methodology combined with a qualitative approach. To understand the ideas, practices, and applications of Islamic education management in the context of globalization, data collection methods include documentation and literature review. The information is reviewed both phenomenologically to examine how these ideas are applied in the contemporary world and hermeneutically to understand how Islamic revelation and culture are integrated. The results show that Islamic education management has become a recognized academic field and can adapt to contemporary technology while maintaining the core principles of Islam.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of social media in increasing the effectiveness of strategic management in Islamic educational institutions, with a case study at MTs Islamic Center Nahdlatul Wathan. The development of digital technology encourages educational institutions to utilize social media as a communication, marketing and community development tool. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using the triangulation method. The research results show that social media plays a significant role in expanding the reach of communication, increasing student and parent involvement, and supporting the promotion of superior programs, which has contributed to an increase in new student enrollment of up to 20% in the last two years. However, challenges such as changing social media algorithms and the need for creative content still need to be addressed. In conclusion, strategic use of social media can increase the visibility and competitiveness of educational institutions, so that continuous adaptation to digital trends is needed for more optimal results.

Abstract

Kebakaran merupakan salah satu risiko utama yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian besar pada fasilitas penyimpanan seperti gudang. Penelitian ini menggunakan platform Blynk IoT, sensor api, buzzer, dan NodeMCU ESP8266 yang bertujuan untuk membuat sistem deteksi api atau kebakaran berbasis Internet of Things. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memberikan notifikasi dini dalam bentuk peringatan suara serta tampilan digital yang dapat diakses dari jarak jauh, sehingga risiko kerugian akibat kebakaran dapat diminimalkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem adalah kerangka kerja pengembangan sistem yang sistematis, yaitu System Development Life Cycle. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan beroperasi sebagaimana mestinya. Namun, pengujian sensor api menunjukkan bahwa jangkauan deteksi maksimalnya adalah 57 cm saat diuji menggunakan korek gas dan 50 cm saat diuji menggunakan api lilin. Temuan ini menjadi masukan untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam meningkatkan sensitivitas dan jangkauan sensor. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi praktis dan efisien dalam meningkatkan keselamatan pada fasilitas penyimpanan.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi membuat karyawan lebih mudah untuk absen. RFID adalah solusi baru yang menggantikan metode tradisional yang manipulatif dan lambat. RFID memungkinkan data disimpan dalam basis data yang terstruktur dan aman serta mengurangi penggunaan kertas. Teknologi ini memungkinkan identifikasi cepat dengan menggunakan tag dan pembaca yang unik, mempercepat proses absensi, mengurangi biaya, dan meningkatkan efisiensi pengumpulan data karyawan. Penelitian mengenai sistem absensi RFID menggunakan metode kuantitatif, kualitatif, dan kualitatif. Metode kualitatif menggunakan observasi, analisis data, dan wawancara untuk memahami kebutuhan bisnis. Metode kuantitatif evaluasi sistem dengan analisis statistik terhadap data yang hilang. Metode campuran mengintegrasikan keduanya untuk memahami kebutuhan bisnis dan menilai efektivitas sistem yang telah dibangun. sistem absensi RFID pada awalnya dikodekan pada arduino hingga terjadi error, kemudian NodeMCU dihubungkan ke WiFi melalui serial monitor. Setelah verifikasi dan pengunggahan, aktifkan XAMPP untuk mengakses web dengan Chrome. Masukkan nama, alamat, dan scan RFID karyawan untuk melakukan registrasi. Scan absen dapat dilakukan pada saat masuk, istirahat, kembali, dan pulang. Setelah melakukan penelitian, analisis, dan Penilaian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem otomasi gudang berbasis Internet of Thoughts dengan memanfaatkan RFID reader dan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266 ini dapat beroperasi dengan efektif karena setiap komponen berfungsi sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

The research discusses the design of an automatic door system for warehouses based on Arduino microcontroller, utilizing infrared (IR) sensors. The aim of this study is to enhance operational efficiency in managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The system is designed to automatically open and close doors when detecting objects, reducing manual intervention and increasing security and access speed. The research methodology includes hardware experimentation and a prototyping approach, allowing for comprehensive testing and evaluation of the system. In the development phase, components such as IR sensors, servo motors, and Arduino microcontrollers are integrated to form an interconnected system. Test results indicate that the system operates effectively, accurately detects objects, and responds quickly. This automatic door not only boosts productivity but also helps maintain the environmental conditions of the warehouse, such as temperature and cleanliness. Therefore, this research significantly contributes to the application of automation technology in industry, particularly in warehouse management.

Abstract

The digital generation today faces significant challenges, such as technology addiction, social isolation, and the search for meaning in life, which is often distorted by the virtual world. This study aims to explore the role of pastoral counseling in helping the digital generation overcome these challenges, based on the principles found in Ephesians 5:15-16. This verse teaches the importance of living wisely and making good use of time, which is relevant in a digital context full of distractions. Using the literature review method, this study analyzes works that discuss pastoral counseling, the challenges of the digital generation, and biblical applications in daily life. The findings suggest that pastoral counseling based on Ephesians 5:15-16 can provide practical guidance for individuals to manage time, relationships, and technology wisely, as well as discover true meaning in life. This study emphasizes the importance of a pastoral approach in helping the digital generation live more balanced and responsible lives, integrating Christian faith values into their lives.
