Abstract

Considering the many controversies surrounding the death penalty, it is very important to present a discussion of the issue of the death penalty from various social justice and legal perspectives, especially the perspective of the Qur’an. This study aims to reveal ibn ‘Asyur’s Tafsir, al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir. Within the framework of efforts to combine progressive and realist jurisprudence according to developments over time, the urgency of resolving problems that have arisen since the classical period is something that must be done if the Indonesian Muslim, especially observers of Islamic law, really wants to resolve Islamic legal problems and implement them in this country seriously. Not too many studies have been carried out intensively and seriously enough on this issue. Based on the idea that the polemic regarding this issue has not yet ended, a serious study of the death penalty from an Islamic legal perspective needs to be carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how birrul walidain according to the hadith perspective. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. The discussion of this research includes the meaning of birrul walidain (filial piety to parents), hadith of birrul walidain commands (filial piety to parents), forms of birrul walidain, and the virtues of birrul walidain (filial piety to parents). This study concludes that birrul walidain or filial piety to parents has a special position in Islamic teachings. The matter of filial piety to parents has been regulated both in the Quran and Hadith. According to the Hadith, filial piety is an obligation equal to faith, jihad, and taqwa. This research is expected to have benefits for the enrichment of the treasury of Islamic knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas prinsip komunikasi di era post truth dalam al-Qur’an perspektif Imam Ṭabrānī. kajian ini penting dilakukan khsususnya di era sering terjadi kedustaan ber-sosial media (post truth). Bahkan pada bulan januari  tahun 2023, terdapat kasus hoax melalui media sosial berisi tentang informasi penculikan anak yang masalah ini menimbulkan keresahan. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kajian ini adalah Dirasah Mawduiyah (Tafsir Tematik), yaitu dengan menentukan satu tema yang kemudian dicarikan ayat-ayat yang sesuai dengan tema. Hasil penelitian ini khususnya intepretasi Imam Ṭabrānī ditemukan bahwa prinsip komunikasi dan menerima informasi baik secara langsung atau melalui sosial media harus mengimplementasikan konsep Tabayyun (classification) dengan tidak mudah mengirim ulang berita yang diterima. Hal ini agar terhindar atau dapat meminimalisir terjadinya konflik, keresahan, dan permusuhan. Dalam berkomunikasi harus menghindari komunikasi yang terkesan meremehkan (Sabbu) “al-An'am ayat 108”, bagi Perempuan tidak melembutkan suara kepada lawan jenisnya yang bukan mahram (Admu al-Khaddi bi al-Qawli)  terdapat dalam surah al-Ahzab ayat 32. (Qawlan Sadi>da) ketepatan isi kata dan fakta serta sesuai dengan keadaan terdapat dalam surat al-Ahzab ayat 70-71, (Qawlan Layyina), dalam al-Qur’an juga diarahkan untuk menggunakan bahasa daerahnya saat berkomunikasi (bi Lisa>ni Qawmihi), Hauna, Qaulan Sala>ma), dan sebagainya.

Abstract

Understanding sexual education is considered necessary for adolescents. The lack of understanding of sexuality results in the misuse of sexual nature and the incompatibility of the function of sexuality experienced by humans themselves. This article describes the understanding of hadith on sexual education using Sigmund Freud's sexuality approach to human personality. That, human sexuality is formed with all the fixations during puberty, occurs due to the unfulfillment of sexual instincts that are so strong and there is repression during puberty. The type of this research is library research or library research, while the data obtained are primary and secondary data sources related to sex education. Hadiths about sexuality can be found in HR. Ahmad number 11173, musnad Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, History of Abu Dawud no. 3574 concerning women's clothing chapter. Hadith narrated by Qatadah RA about the prohibition of touching the genitals with the right hand. This article has implications for the formation of human sexuality, and how sexuality is used properly, according to the function of human sexuality.

Abstract

In the archipelago, interpretation development differs from in areas where Arabic is used daily, such as in Egypt and other parts of Central Timor. Therefore, they are starting to interpret using local languages used to communicate with each other, including Sundanese people. In this case, the author wants to reveal the embryo by tracing it historically; it turns out that at first, it was found that interpretations were in Sundanese or cultural languages that continued for several years. Then, it developed until a complete interpretation emerged whose knowledge was recognized worldwide, namely Sheikh Nawawi Al-Bantani. His work, Marah Labid, has a distinctive Indonesian style in discussing and interpreting the contents of the verses of the Koran. From the research results, it can be concluded that Marah Labid combines ijmali (global) and tahlili (analysis) interpretation methods simultaneously. This research method is descriptive-qualitative through analysis of library research. The research concludes that the Islamic religion entering Indonesia did not immediately emphasize understanding Sharia law. When society begins to participate in its religion, understanding the Qur'an comes in the form of interpretations. In the 19th century, there was a local cultural interpretation of the Sundanese language by Nawawi al-Bantani in its work, Marah Labid.

Abstract

Today, the role of women is increasingly broad, showing their almost equal power with men. Many women have the profession of qari'ah, preacher, lecturer, newsreader and some even become state officials. Women in this profession must raise their voices, and it is permissible to be heard by those who are not mahrams, with the condition that they do not cause slander, are not chanted or made to lull by the explanation of three hadiths in Sahih Bukhari. This study uses the library research. The results of this study concluded that women's voices are allowed to speak or be heard by the opposite sex on condition that they do not contain lust, and there are characteristics of wasathiyah related to two hadiths of women's voices.
