Abstract

Information systems are an example of implementing the use of technology at this time where systems are built on a computerized basis so as to facilitate or simplify human work in the economic, social, political, health and even in the education sector, there are many information systems built to support educational development or more precisely in development learning, as is the case with many learning-based streaming videos or tutorials, both tutorials for soft skill development and hard skill development, but some problems can be seen from video streaming information systems that are widely spread on internet media that it is still relatively rare to get streaming videos that focus on learning in certain fields so that it is difficult to carry out self-development to concentrate on certain fields such as focusing on the field of computer science learning. Therefore, to facilitate video-based learning, researchers have developed a computer science-based video streaming information system.

Abstract

Wood is a construction material that is familiar to the wider community. Wood can be used in construction. The purpose of this study was to determine the specifications of the physical properties, mechanical properties, tensile strength and flexural strength of laminated wood (glulam), in jackfruit and coconut wood beams originating from the East Nusa Tenggara region in multi-storey house buildings. The tests carried out included testing the water content, testing the tensile strength and bending strength, testing the tensile strength and bending strength on glulam beams using epoxy glue adhesives. The results of this study showed that jackfruit wood and coconut wood aged 15 years and 20 years had an average moisture content of 15 years, namely 15% and 26%, the average specific gravity was 0.54 (tons/m3) and 0.46 (tons/m3). Meanwhile, the average water content for 20 years is 15% and 32%, the average specific gravity is 0.58 (Ton/m3) and 0.45 (Ton/m3). The tensile strength of intact and glulam wood of jackfruit and coconut wood was obtained from laboratory results on SNI 7973-2013 calculations, the average tensile strength of intact jackfruit and coconut wood was 84.40 MPa and 80.73 MPa. The flexural strength of intact beams and glulam of jackfruit and coconut wood aged 15 years was obtained from laboratory results on SNI 7973-2013 calculations of the flexural strength of intact beams for 15 years, the average being 71.81 MPa and 26.07 MPa. At 15 years of age, the flexural strength of glulam beams was the highest variation 1 and variation 2 (Jackfruit, Coconut, Jackfruit) mean 76.00 MPa and 41.85 MPa. The flexural strength of intact beams and gulam of jackfruit and coconut wood aged 20 years was obtained by laboratory results on SNI 7973-2013 calculations of flexural strength of intact beams, which were 80.27 MPa and 29.73 MPa respectively. At the age of 20 years, the highest flexural strength of glulam beams were variations 1 and 2 (Coconut, Jackfruit, Coconut) with an average of 80.40 MPa and 48.76 Mpa.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how the news framing process is about the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine in online media Kompas.com. This study used a qualitative analysis method using the Robert N. Etman framing analysis model. The subject of this research is the online media kompas.com, while the research object is news about the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine. The news analyzed totaled 5 news published in 2021. The results of the define problem research show that the online media kompas.com constructed the covid 19 type sinovac vaccine which is very feasible and good for consumption by the public ranging from children to pregnant women, this has conducted clinical trials as a diagnosis of causes. Kompas.com online media explores the make moral judgment that this vaccine has protected the public and educational staff from the virus, so the framing contains a treatment recommendation that the vaccine is appropriate for dissemination and campaigning to the public.

Abstract

As a company engaged in the energy sector, PLN is aware of its contribution and important role in the issue of climate change and its application of sustainability in order to create harmony in economic growth and community social activities. This is all done in a way that ensures the fulfillment of the resources needed in the long term. The use of paper in routine operational activities in the PLN ULP unit reaches 28 reams per month and the use of paper in the engineering section is 33% or the second largest user of paper in the unit. The next fact is that only less than 50% of field officers who attach paper Minutes (BA) in disturbance service activities have an impact on the total use of paper material in units that contribute to emissions of 0.3 tons of CO2eq at the PLN ULP Kisaran. One such way is the implementation of Paperless Office. This concept is to minimize the use of paper in operational activities to reduce the impact of emissions directly or indirectly. On the other hand, company activities must be in line with other aspects such as corporate governance. Then a comprehensive understanding is needed in formulating policies that will be implemented. The paperless office implementation that we innovate is rooted in the inevitability of using technology in line with management demands to achieve the given challenges. The design of the digital Minutes aims to be aligned with fulfilling management's mission in the aspects of zero emissions, work effectiveness, accounting efficiency and good corporate governance. The result of this innovation is being able to reduce paper emissions by 0.18 per unit, as well as an efficiency of 11% -33% from the operational costs of using BA paper.

Abstract

The application of the Role Playing learning model to improve students' cognitive, in the material on the Principles of Unity in Diversity, aims to improve students' cognitive. Researchers use Student Discovery Sheets to direct learning activities according to the steps of the Role Playing model. This research activity was carried out at MTsN 02 Bungo, in the 2021-2022 academic year. Role Playing learning process can improve students' cognitive, fun and right on target. This study intends to determine the effect of applying the Role Playing model. The results are very significant affect the cognitive level of students. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) uses the Role Playing learning model in class which is carried out in the stages of planning, implementing, and observing, then reflecting for two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings. The research subjects in this PTK were 31 students in class 9C. The results of the research can be described that the Role Playing model and its application through Student Guide Sheets can be useful in directing students in learning activities that can improve their cognitive. The usefulness of this model is known from learning evaluation and increasing cognitive learning outcomes. Judging from the results of UH 1, 2, and 3, each cycle of students. The results of the first cycle test showed that only 19 out of 32 students achieved a score of ≥ 65 or 61.67% of students achieved the KKM. The results of the second cycle test showed that there were 28 out of 32 students who scored ≥65 or 82.35% of students achieved the KKM. The description of the achievement of students' cognitive improvement in cycle 1 can be explained by very good categories of 14.7% and good 41.17% while 2.94% and less 41.17%. The description of the achievement of students' cognitive improvement in cycle 2 can be explained by very good categories of 50%, good 29.41%, quite good 0%, and not good 20.58%.
