Abstract

The many tourist attractions and their various types certainly benefit tourists. Bandung is a famous tourist center and is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists. However, the large number of tourist attractions in Bandung often makes it difficult for tourists to determine their destination, especially if they only have limited time. This research aims to design a tourist attraction recommendation system based on collaborative filtering and K-Nearest Neighbors which can help users by providing recommendations for suitable tourist attractions by displaying seven tourist attraction recommendations. By using collaborative filtering, the system will recommend the best tourist attractions based on ratings and reviews given by users on the internet. Based on the RMSE test results, the train and test data values are in the range of 0.2 - 0.5, which shows that the accuracy of the model is good.

Abstract

In a higher education environment that carries out tridharma obligations, one of the roles of a lecturer is to be a researcher. Collaboration between researchers who have different expertise is important to provide solutions to problems and can also improve the quality of the research itself. This research is present to provide a research partner recommendation system by applying the Naïve Bayes machine learning algorithm and the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Software development is done with PHP programming language and MySQL database. Testing of the software developed using black box testing. The application provides recommendations for research partners based on keywords entered in the form of research topics. Research partner recommendations are given in the form of a weighted value of the percentage of suitability for the keywords entered. The algorithm has been successfully applied and testing has been successfully passed so that researchers can use this software to get the right research partner according to the research topic concerned.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an efficient Warehouse Packing System for PT Luna Technology Group in order to improve operational efficiency and minimize packing errors in logistics processes. The research adopts the Waterfall Method, employing a systematic approach that encompasses requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data was collected through qualitative observational methods, including interviews and direct observations of the existing packing processes. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of a web-based packing system significantly reduces packing times, mitigates errors in item selection, and lowers operational costs compared to the previous manual methods. The research concludes that embracing a structured software development methodology not only enhances the packing process, but also positions PT Luna Technology Group as a competitive player in the logistics industry, underscoring the need for continuous technological advancements in warehouse management.

Abstract

Education is a very determining potential and an inseparable part of educational activities. Teaching and learning activities in schools require costs, therefore funding needs to be managed as well as possible so that available funds can be utilized optimally so that educational goals can be achieved. Vocational School Ma'arif 1 Kalirejo is a Vocational High School which has 802 students. The administrative management system at the school is still done manually, so it has many risks. Therefore, this research utilizes a web-based information system as a solution to the problems that occur. This research aims to create a web-based financial administration information system that can assist officers in managing school financial administration. The result of this research is that a Mobile Web-Based Financial Administration Management System is designed to have 8 menu displays, namely 1. Administrator login page display., 2. Administrator home page display., 3. School profile page., 4. Student transactions., 5. Expenditure page, 6. Receipt page, 7. Payment name page, and 8. Payment type page

Abstract

This article investigates the classification and shelving systems at the INSTIDLA library and their impact on information retrieval. The study employs a qualitative descriptive research design, utilizing primary and secondary data sources to analyze the library's management and organization of collections . The research focuses on the implementation of the Dewey Decimal Classification system and the arrangement of materials in alphabetical order for shelving, as well as the challenges and deficiencies encountered in the classification and shelving system . The findings reveal that while the classification and shelving systems at INSTIDLA play a significant role in facilitating information retrieval, there are challenges such as the absence of dedicated staff for organizing books and the occasional lack of awareness among librarians about collection arrangement . The article concludes by proposing potential solutions to enhance the effectiveness of information retrieval at INSTIDLA.

Abstract

The DeLone and McLean Model of Information Systems Success is a framework developed by William H. DeLone and Ephraim R. McLean to measure the success of information systems (IS) in Pakistan and India. The model identifies six interrelated dimensions of IS success: System Quality, Information Quality, Use, User Satisfaction, Individual Impact, and Organizational Impact. The original model (1992) identified six dimensions of IS success: System Quality, Information Quality, Use, User Satisfaction, Individual Impact, and Organizational Impact. The study aims to address the problem phenomena in information systems, such as user dissatisfaction, system quality, and service quality, which can hinder the overall success of IS. Perceived ease of use and service quality are identified as significant factors impacting user satisfaction and net benefits of academic information systems. Addressing these problems is crucial for improving user experience and system functionality in higher education institutions. The model was first introduced in 1992 and updated in 2003 to incorporate feedback and changes in the field over ten years.
