Abstract

Utilizing local potential in learning can make students understand the object of material in daily life, its giving a positive impact on higher learning interests. This research aimed to find out student’s interest in learning science after using local potential integrated learning. The subject of the study was a class of students in one of Yogyakarta Junior High School 7th grade, consist of 30 students. This was Pre Experimental research with One Group Pretest Postest research design. The sample choosed by purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used was learning interest questionnaires. The poll was developed by researchers, by showing indicators of learning interest with 23 questions. The data analysis using paired sample t-test and n-gain test. The result shows that the significance value in paired sample t-test is 0.000, lower than 0.05, so it can be said that local potential integrated learnig is significance in increasing students' science learning interest. The average N-gain of student's learning interest increased before and after treatment by 0.60, belong to moderate criteria.

Abstract

Micro hydro power plants are small power plants that use water as energy, and the initiative is a turbine. This generator system is very suitable for use in rural areas because this system is easy to manufacture, generates sufficient electricity, and production costs are relatively low. Based on the above, it is necessary to design turbines that support this process system, including Kaplan-type turbines. This study aims to determine how much power the turbine can generate. The methods used in this research are the planning method, the design method, the testing method, and the analysis method for the Kaplan turbine design results referring to the results of initial observations, which show the height of the waterfall. The primary data collection is carried out through direct observation of the research object to determine the geographic location conditions and the ideal micro hydro power plant path. A designed Kaplan-type water turbine is in such a way that there are no errors in the design (for example, the manufacturing costs), and a design is carried out. 1) with an output of 1.2 m3/s and head efficiency (Heff) = 18.9 m, specific rotation (Ns) = 153.3 rpm. Control swing height (B) = 0.069 m, and the Kaplan turbine were chosen for planning the Brantas river flow micro-hydro power plant, Batu City – Malang. The potential that can be generated based on manual calculations is 124 KW, 1500 rpm turbine rotation with an efficiency of 0.85% - 0.90%.

Abstract

Before the mangrove forest in Apar Village was used as a tourist destination today, the community considered mangrove forests as wilderness plants that had no clear function and benefits that were never maintained. Many mangroves died due to drought and logger by the community for firewood to be far from sustainable. To manage and preserve the mangrove ecosystem, several efforts have been made, one of which is by quantifying the environmental services provided by the mangrove ecosystem. One of the environmental services of the mangrove forest ecosystem is the benefits of ecotourism. The results showed that the economic value of ecotourism in the mangrove forest covering an area of 10.62 hectares in Apar Village was Rp. 3,614,335.60 per year or Rp. 340,332.92 per Ha per year.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a digital physics textbook based on multirepresentation to assist grade 11 students in applying the concepts of sound and light waves in high school/islamic senior high school (SMA/MA) and to determine the feasibility and response of the students to the developed textbook. The research method used in this study is Research and Development and refers to the Borg and Gall development model. The digital textbook was validated by expert validators and two high school physics teachers. The digital textbook was tested on a limited basis with 26 students. The validation results of the digital textbook by expert validators and two high school physics teachers obtained an overall average score of 3.72 out of a scale of 4.00, which means that the digital textbook meets the valid criteria. The limited test results on 26 students showed that the percentage of the digital book trial results reached 92.66%, which means that the digital textbook met the practical criteria. These results indicate that the developed digital textbook is feasible for wider trials as it meets both valid and practical criteria.

Abstract

Hospitals as health service institutions must provide services to the community in the local and international scope. Based on this, in the last few decades the term accreditation has emerged to assess the quality of an organization including hospitals. The state has an obligation to meet the public's need for health services which is regulated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as supporting laws and regulations, namely Law Number 25 concerning Public Services, Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning health, Law Number 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals, and Law 37 of 2008 concerning the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia. to find out about matters relating to hospital accreditation and patient safety in order to improve the quality of health services in hospitals. The research design used is data mining. With clustering algorithm. Data taken from opendata.jabarprov https://opendata.jabarprov.go.id/id/dataset/register-rumah-saki-berdasarkan-tipe-dan-class-di-jawa-barat. In data mining, the results show that hospital accreditation in Indonesia is carried out to assess hospital compliance with accreditation standards. Hospital accreditation is linked to quality assessment. However, actually the quality itself is the outcome of the accreditation implementer, while accreditation only assesses whether the service has met the standard or not without measuring the quality of the service. Hospital accreditation is an acknowledgment that has been recognized by the government for hospitals because they have met predetermined standards

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between emotional quotient and completeness of drawing tools with learning motivation . This research is a correlational research. Based on the results of the study it was found that the majority of students (88%) had fairly high EQ scores, the majority of students (63%) had fairly complete drawing tools and the majority of students (54%) had high learning motivation. This study uses hypothesis testing which is tested by linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that (1) partially EQ has a positive relationship with learning motivation, (2) partially the completeness of drawing tools does not have a positive relationship with learning motivation, and (3) EQ and the completeness of drawing tools simultaneously have a positive relationship positive with student learning motivation. This shows that the higher the level of EQ and the completeness of the drawing tools owned by the students, the higher the student's learning motivation.
