Abstract

Language learning activities are carried out by language educators so that students gain appropriate language skills after being involved in a learning experience. The essence of learning English in the Heavy Equipment Engineering Study Program at the Olat Maras Community Academy is not only focused on delivering the material contained in the semester learning plan but also on paying attention to creative aspects, student passion for learning, and paying attention to the needs of students humanely and democratically. The lack of learning experience for students, in general, is not only triggered by the difficulty of the content of the subject matter that cannot be understood by students but is also driven by a teaching approach to a learning activity that creates a little learning experience for students during learning. Creating a learning atmosphere full of student activity must involve cognitive, affective, and psychographic students, such as inviting students to listen, practice, argue, and use learning media that originates from the ideas of the students themselves following their study program.

Abstract

This community service aims to able to provide information related to the impertanve of recording financial transactions in every business run by UMKM. Recording financial transactions can be done by utilizing the digital technology of the Bukukas recording application. The Bukukas application can make it easier for UMKM to record transactiond in their business. The method used in this activity is socialization and practice of using Bukukas by presenting UMKM in Sekumpul Ujung Martapura. It was held at the RT 11 residence and was attended by 20 different types of UMKM. The results of the implementation of community service, the introduction and practice of using the Bukukas digital recording application can be reparacticed by UMKM. This service activity was attended by 20 UMKM with variouse types pf UMKM and the there were only 3 UMKM that had difficulty using the Bukukas application. The diffeculties experienced by the 3 UMKM are due to the application of the systematics of carrying out buying and selling activities where the buying and selling is carried out quickly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, education, and unemployment on the poverty rate in West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2017-2022 partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research with the analysis technique used is panel data regression with E-Views 12 software. After testing the results obtained are partial economic growth has a negative and not significant effect on poverty levels, education has a negative and significant effect on poverty rate, and unemployment have a negative and not significant effect on the level of poverty. Meanwhile, simultaneously the three variables have a significant influence on the poverty rate in West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2017-2022.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student satisfaction with thesis guidance services by lecturers in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Palangka Raya University using a survey method through 5 aspects of satisfaction namely availability, mastery of material substance, mastery of thesis writing techniques, facilities, and thesis completion process. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive statistics. by measuring using a Likert scale. The sample in this study were students from class 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 who were conducting thesis guidance at the UPR Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, a total of 32 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire with 4 (four) answer choices in terms of 5 aspects, namely availability, mastery of the substance of the material, mastery of writing techniques, facilities and completion processes. The results showed that the thesis guidance service in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program was at a satisfaction index of 3.25, which was in the satisfied category.

Abstract

This journal aims to evaluate student satisfaction with the teaching performance of lecturers, academic administration services, and teaching facilities/infrastructure in a university. The method used was a survey with a questionnaire distributed to students at the university. The survey results showed that the majority of students were satisfied with the teaching performance of lecturers, academic administration services, and teaching facilities/infrastructure. However, there are still a small number of students who feel dissatisfied, especially with the teaching facilities/infrastructure. In terms of the teaching performance of lecturers, the majority of students feel satisfied and very satisfied with the willingness or concern of lecturers in helping them. While in the aspect of academic administration services, the majority of students feel satisfied and very satisfied with the willingness or concern of administrative staff in helping them. However, in the aspect of teaching facilities/infrastructure, there are still a small number of students who feel dissatisfied with the sufficiency, quality, and accessibility of the facilities and infrastructure available. From these survey results, it can be concluded that although the majority of students feel satisfied with the teaching performance of lecturers, academic administration services, and teaching facilities/infrastructure, there is still a need to improve the quality of teaching facilities/infrastructure to maximize student satisfaction.
