Abstract

This study aims to analyze effective mathematical learning models in children with special needs in Special Schools. The researcher used a questionnaire in the data collection process. The respondents consisted of teachers, students, principals and academics in the Special School. The results of the study show that children with special needs at the Special School especially for mentally retarded children use thematic learning models. Thematic learning models contribute significantly to the learning process in Special Schools in order to create effective learning especially in mathematics because they have achieved effective learning indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic religious education and multimedia-based learning classes at the vocational high school level. This research was conducted because at this level there are sometimes many discrepancies between implementation and planning. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with the collection method consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study obtained information that planning, implementation, evaluation, and students' perceptions of multimedia-based learning are in accordance with predetermined competency standards.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Open Ended-based learning can improve Mathematics learning outcomes of the first semester S1 Accounting students at the University of Pamulang. Data collection is done by observation and tests. The results of the exam in the first cycle, 15 of 35 students or 43% of students passed the material "Relationship of Functions with Derivatives". While in the second cycle, 32 of the 35 students who received grades included in the criteria for graduation, namely between 60-95. There is an increase in learning outcomes and the percentage of students who graduate, from 43% to 91%. It was concluded that Open Ended based learning turned out to be favored by students because it could improve learning outcomes, in addition, students could convey ideas or ideas related to how to solve a Mathematical problem with varied concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop a module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to facilitate High Level Mathematical Thinking Ability (KBMTT) of students; (2) knowing the quality of PBL-based modules based on validator ratings; and (3) knowing the effectiveness of the module. This research includes development research, including the preliminary stage, the development stage, and the product testing phase. The instruments used included the PBL-based module assessment sheet and the KBMTT test. The research subjects are the parties involved during the product testing process, namely PBL-based module validators and students who will use the module. The data analysis in this study includes module development data analysis, module quality, and module usage effectiveness. The products produced from this study are PBL-based mathematical modules to facilitate high-level mathematical thinking skills equipped with learning devices.

Abstract

This research purposes to knowing the expediency level from the physic structure condition building of Muhammadiyah schools in Karanganyar toward disaster combination through three dimension Google SketchUp. The research design used in this study is descriptive quantitative methods. Quantitative data collected by research instrumental of inquiry observation by questionare. Making SketchUp based of observation and square measuring. The result of this research is indicate the expediency of schools building focused on SD IT Jumapolo have reached 77.19% and SD Muhammadiyah Jatiyoso by reached 51.41%. So, SD Muhammadiyah Jatiyoso must be more respected for structural mitigation disaster participation.

Abstract

Disaster capacity needs to be increased to reduce disaster risk. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of the Muhammadiyah 6 Jenawi Middle School students in facing the threat of landslides and to know the physical capacity of the 6-Gen. Muhammadiyah Middle School building. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The study population was residents of the 6 Jenawi Muhammadiyah Middle School. The study sample consisted of 30 student respondents, 12 teacher respondents, and a school principal. The results showed that students' knowledge was 76.3%, teachers were 83.9% and the principal's policy was 76.2%. Where the majority of teacher knowledge is at a fairly high level and is followed by students who are also quite good, it depends on the policies applied by the principal. The physical condition of school buildings is at the level of 53.3% in accordance with safe buildings in landslide preparedness that can be considered sufficient in preparedness to face the threat of landslides.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of audio visual media on the result of learning social science of 5th grade students elementary school. Audio visual media is a set of integrated tools which combines the sound, image, and than it can instill concrete the concepts that can be seen heard. First, researcher formulated the problem and then proceeded to collect researchs data that was already through google scholar. From the search, 10 articles from jurnals, 1 prociding and 1 minithesis from relevant repository. The research results from the reseacher were analyzed by quantitative comparison methods. Based on yhe results of the analysis, that audio visual media has an effect on improving the learning of 5th grade students. The effect of using audio-visual media is that can improve social studies outcomeslearning of 5th grade students of started from the lowest 12,36 % until the highest 81,81 % with an avarage increase of 31,96 %.

Abstract

In determining the Human Development Index in the coming year can use forecasting. Where in doing the forecasting there are several methods, one of which is the Radial Basis Function (RBF). This RBF method is part of Artificial Intelligence with Network type used in this study, namely the fewer network. To do forecasting with this method, it takes two types of data, namely input data and target data to produce output data and data errors, where the determination also depends on the value of the performance goal and spread constant. In this study, the data used is the NTB Human Development Index (HDI) data for 2010-2018 with the forecast results obtained not far from the data values from the previous year. Such as, West Lombok as much as 66.7917 with an error of 0.26835; Central Lombok 65.0776 with error -0.0075804; East Lombok 65.1453 with an error of 0.054664; Sumbawa 66.3912 with error -0.12115; Dompu 66.9601 with error -0.15005; Bima 65.6131 with error -0.043123; Sumbawa Barat 70.41 with an error 6.0736e-07; North Lombok 64.1411 with error -0.0011034; Mataram 78.73 with error 0; and Bima 74.85 with error -2.8422e-14.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of training in the most accurate Artificial Neural Network (ANN) in the Backpropagation method which was applied using matlab. In the simulation, the authors used the Human Development Index (HDI) data in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) in 2010-2018 to predict the Human Development Index (HDI) data in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) in 2019. Artificial neuralism with the Backpropagation method valued are Traingd, Traingdx, And Trainrp with the accuracy of each type of training algorithm using MSE. Based on the simulation results, the data uses Traingd, Traingdx, And Trainrp which can be used to assess the most popular regression in graph 1 Traingd with a value of R = 0.99744. Producing output from Traingd results Caused by the Human Development Index (HDI) data in 2019. The results of the predictions of ten districts / cities in 2019 in West Nusa Tenggara are 66,791, 65.2014, 65.2769, 67.0017, 67.3496, 66.0761, 72.2184, 64.8257, 78.3422, 76,618 and with error values of 0.29092, -0.13139, -0.07693, -0.73169, -0.53963, -0.50668, -1.8084, -0.68567, 0.38785, -1.768.

Abstract

This study aims to produce Mantri Caino media, namely ethnomatematics-based interactive learning media, created by using Adobe Flash. Caino Mantri was intended for junior high school students (SMP) and equivalents. The method used in this study was research and development (R & D). In this method, several stages of Caino Mantri's quality measurements were carried out, including validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on the conducted research, it can be concluded that the product produced, namely interactive learning media Mantri Caino, has fulfilled the specified criteria, that was valid, practical, and effective to be used in learning. The conclusion found that Mantri Caino's interactive learning media were valid, practical, and effective. This was in accordance to the assessment of experts, student responses, and student test results, with 90% of students included in the complete category.
