Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to determine the effect of cooperative learning models such as Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Jigsaw with the help of PowerPoint media on Economics learning achievement. Methodology:This research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The sample in this study was 70 students. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research uses two-way analysis of variance with an unequal number of cells with analysis prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. Main Findings: The results of the research show that there are differences in the influence of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Jigsaw cooperative learning models assisted by PowerPoint media on Economics learning achievement. This is shown by obtaining a significance value (Sig.) which is smaller than the significance level α = 0.05, namely (0.00 < 0.05) or (Fobs = 10.103 >Ftable = 4.00). Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that it contributes to the study and development of knowledge, especially regarding cooperative learning approaches such as Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Jigsaw.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between students' attitudes towards geography lessons and the relationship between learning motivation and students' geography learning achievement. Methodology:This research is a descriptive study whose population is all high schools in Surakarta. The sample for this research was 79 students of class XI IPS. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires, tests, observations and documents. The data was then analyzed using multiple linear regression with three analysis prerequisites: normality test, multicollinearity test, and heterogeneity test. Main Findings: The findings of this research are as follows. First, there is no positive correlation between students' attitudes towards Geography and their learning outcomes. This is indicated by a probability value of 0.231; which is higher than 0.05. Second, there is a positive relationship between student motivation and learning outcomes, with a probability value of 0.018. The third finding is that there is a simultaneous relationship between students' attitudes and motivation and their learning outcomes, with a probability value of 0.033. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that it provides information about the relationship between students' attitudes towards geography lessons and learning motivation with students' geography learning outcomes so that it can be used as material for consideration in learning strategies by Geography subject teachers.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to determine students' history learning outcomes by applying creative and productive learning models. Methodology: This research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, reflection. The research subjects were class X high school students. The data collection tools or instruments used in this classroom action research are written test or evaluation instruments to reveal student learning outcomes and observation sheets regarding understanding of student activities and teacher performance. Data analysis is carried out statistically by calculating the average value obtained then the second stage calculate learning completeness. Main Findings: The learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I showed an improvement compared to before they were given learning using creative and productive models. In cycle II, student learning outcomes showed a better improvement compared to cycle I. Student learning outcomes in cycle II were as follows: the percentage of completion level in cycle II was 84.61%, while students who did not complete the percentage were 15.38. %. So the overall class average is 7.82. The conclusion of this research is that by using the Creative and Productive Learning model there is an increase in learning outcomes on the subject of the origins and distribution of humans in the Indonesian Archipelago. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that it is useful in the field of education, especially in history subjects as an effort to improve the completeness of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to determine the influence of teacher pedagogical competence and learning facilities on student learning outcomes in economics subjects. Methodology: The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method. The population as subjects in this research were class XI students majoring in social sciences at high school. The sampling technique used in this research was proportional random sampling. The number of samples in this study was 127 respondents. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Data on pedagogical competence and student learning facilities were obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Main Findings: Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between pedagogical competence and learning facilities on learning outcomes (F calculated > F table or 14.996 > 3.07 at the 5% significance level) and the coefficient of determination is 19.5%. This means that the influence of pedagogical competence and learning facilities on student learning outcomes is 19.5%, while it is influenced by other factors at 80.5%. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that it strengthens the theory about the magnitude of the influence of teacher pedagogical competence and learning facilities in determining student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to see how the community participates in efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of Muara Jambi Temple. Methodology: The method used in the research is a qualitative method with a naturalistic qualitative type. The locations in this research are the Jambi Cultural Heritage Conservation Agency as the manager and Muara Jambi Village, Maro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. Qualitative methods rely on qualitative data, which can take the form of interviews, participant observation, field notes, or document analysis. Main Findings: The results of this research show that the community already has awareness in preserving the cultural heritage of Muarajambi Temple, which can be proven by the existence of a community founded by the people of Muarajambi Village with awareness of the importance of protecting the environment around Muarajambi Village and the Muarajambi Temple environment. Several forms of community participation, in this case the participation of ideas/thoughts, are considered to be still low because they are not channeled enough. This has not been fully implemented due to a lack of coordination or approach between the community and managers. Various efforts have been made by the management and the community, including protection in the form of restoration, development and utilization of cultural heritage, which can be done through direct promotion or through social media, and Muarajambi Temple is also a scientific, religious, social and cultural institution. Novelty/Originality of this study: The synergy between local culture, participatory innovation and the character of love for one's country is a strong pillar in maintaining the sustainability of Muara Jambi Temple, proving that preserving cultural heritage is a reflection of togetherness and unity in preserving heritage for future generations.
