Abstract

The waiting time for finished drug service is the grace period from the time the patient submits the prescription until receiving the finished drug with a minimum standard set by the Ministry of Health is ≤ 30 minutes, while the waiting time for concoction drug service is the grace period from the time the patient submits the prescription until receiving the concoction drug that is ≤ 60 minutes. This study aims to determine the average waiting time for outpatient prescription services at Anwar Medika Hospital. This research was conducted with a cross sectional descriptive method. Primary data was collected through direct observation and recording of prescription service waiting times in the waiting time recording form on February 10, 2020 to February 11, 2020. Data taken were 384 outpatient prescriptions consisting of 346 non-concoctions and 38 prescription concoctions. In this study, 384 recipes were used as the research sample consisting of 346 for non-concoction recipes and 38 for recipe concoctions. The average time needed to complete a non-concoction recipe is 18.7 minutes and the time required to complete a recipe concoction is 30.9 minutes. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is found that the average waiting time for prescription services at Anwar Medika Hospital has fulfilled the requirements according to the minimum service standards at the hospital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the satisfaction of outpatient hypertension patients at Anwar Medika Hospital and to determine the effect of pharmaceutical services on outpatient hypertension patient satisfaction at Anwar Medika Hospital. This research method is an observational research with a descriptive research design using quantitative analysis. This research at Anwar Medika Hospital was conducted in March 2020. This research approach uses a survey approach where the data collection process is carried out by distributing questionnaires and interviews to respondents. For easy data processing, SPSS version 20 was used. The results of the study were 200 respondents. This study concluded that the respondents expressed very dissatisfaction with 1.2%, the respondents stated that they were not satisfied with 4.8%, the respondents stated that they were satisfied with 27.9%, the respondents stated that they were very satisfied with 66.2%. The effect of the level of pharmaceutical services on the satisfaction of hypertensive patients is y = 35.869 + 0.460x.

Abstract

Dyslipidemia is a lipid disorder characterized by the abnormal value in lipid in blood plasma. The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of short term marine omega-3 supplement capsules on triglyceride level in outpatients with dyslipidemia in Teaching Hospital Surabaya. This was a cohort prospective study. There were two groups, namely pre and post intervention group. The intervention group was given capsule of marine omega-3 for a month. The TG value was measured in pre and post using marine omega-3 capsule. We had 12 outpatients in every group. There were no significant difference in plasma TG level within control and intervention group (p>0.05).

Abstract

Skin infections most often found in developing countries, especially in the tropics, are purulent skin inflammation (pyoderma), the main cause of Staphylococcus aureus. The increasing number of cases of bacteria that are resistant to antibacterial can encourage the extraction of sources of antibacterial drugs from natural ingredients. One of the plants that is thought to have the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus aureus is the Neem plant. In this study an antibacterial activity test was carried out with the well diffusion method from 96% ethanol extract of Mimba leaves extracted by percolation method. Phytochemical screening tests obtained 96% ethanol extract of Mimba leaves containing alcaloid, saponins, tannins, steroids / terpenoids and flavonoids. The results of the study on the antibacterial activity test showed a concentration of 75% ethanol extract of 96% Mimba leaves classified as having strong activity, at a concentration of 50% and 25% classified as having moderate activity. It concluded that the three concentrations of 96% ethanol extract of Mimba leaves were able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.

Abstract

The research is applied to 20 compounds contained into Avicennia marina which is : 4',5-dihydroxy-3',5',7-trimethoxyflavone, isorhamnetin 3-O-rutinoside, quercetin, stenocarproquinone B, avicennone C, avicennone E, avicennone F, avicennone D, 4'5-dihydroxy-3',7-dimethoxyflavone, chrysoeriol 7-O-glucoside, naphta(1,2-b)furan-4,5-dione, 3-hydroxy-naphtal (1,2-b)furan-4,5-dione, kaempferol, 5-hydroxy-4',7-dimethoxyflavone, avicequinone C, 2-[2'-(2'-hydroxy)propyl]-naphta[1,2-b]furan-4,5-dione,4',5,7-trihydroxyflavone, luteolin 7-O-methylether, luteolin 7O-methylether 3'-O-beta-D-glucoside,5,7-dihidroxy-3',4',5'-trimethoxyflavone which are expected to have an effect as antidiabetics agent. It is undertaken to find out the linier or nonlinier relationship of the structure activity (QSAR), the physicochemical characters (lipophilic, electronic, and steric) to the activitychanging (rerank score). Moreover, it is also undertaken to find out which one of those 20 Avicenia marina compounds are predicted to possess the activity as the best antidiabetics agent by the comparison of pioglitazon. It is arranged through computerized methods through some progrmas such as used to make prediction of the activity by using Molegro Virtual Docker 20`11.5.0.0 from CLCBio. by using the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR) in code of PDB : 2XKW. The compound of isorhamnetin 3-O-rutinoside, , chrysoeriol 7-O-glucoside, dan senyawa luteolin 7-O-methylether 3'-O-beta-D-glucosdie are predicted to have the best antidiabetics agent if it is compared with comparing drug pioglitazon.
