Abstract

The development of interactive multimedia-based mathematics learning media using Macrome-dia Flash 8 is included in research and development. This study aims to produce learning media products based on Macromedia Flash 8 mathematics on the material similarity and congruence for grade IX junior high school students. This research refers to the development of ADDIE which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used are media validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The data collection technique used is validity data by 3 validators consisting of 2 Lecturers of Mathematics Education and 1 Mathematics Teacher. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the validity and practicality of the learning media. The results of the analysis of the average validity of learning media are 86.57% with very valid criteria, while the average practicality of learning me-dia is 89.53% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of research and development, it can be concluded that the learning media developed is suitable for use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to improving problem-solving skills by combining the Model of Eliciting Activities (MEA) with Learning Model on the level of student independence. The technique used for sampling is cluster random sampling, namely by selecting two experimental classes and two control classes take one experimental class and one control class. Sample are students in grade 2A and 2B in Academic Year 2021/2022 with eigen-values material from Mechanical Engineering Study Program. In this study takes variables, namely problem-solving ability as a result with parameters i.e. with or without Model of Eliciting Activities (MEA). Data collection in unison with documentation, questionnaires, and test methods. And data processing using a two-way ANAVA 2 in unison with a 2x2 factorial design interaction as well as a determinant test using a benpheroni test. Based on the research, provide an understanding that students will gain learning in unison with the MEA get high problem-solving abilities than students Where students who get treatment with  learning is carried out conventionally, and students who have a high level of comfort have high problem-solving ability results abilities compared to  students who have a fairly low level of independence, so they have an influence on self-reliance and learning methods on students' problem solving Capabilities. Thus, students who have high comfort and get learning with the Eliciting Activities Model have a higher problem-solving ability compared to other types of learning interactions in this study.

Abstract

This study is a research and development (RD) to compile and develop teaching materials for mathematics an integrated set of Islamic values. The development of teaching materials is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students at the set with one cause, namely the behavior or morals of students in learning and outside learning is not good. The subjects of the study were VII grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Ambarawa. The research method is development research by adopting the Thiagarajan steps which are known as the 4D development model, namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The results of the validation from the experts show that the feasibility level of teaching materials is in the quite feasible category or can be used but it needs to be revised slightly, with the percentage acquisition for material experts at mathematics 84.52%, material experts at Islamic values 80%, experts learning media 77.86%. The results of student responses showed that students gave a positive response to the teaching materials shown by the percentage of acquisition of responses that strongly agreed with the mathematics learning module on the interest indicator 61.59%, material indicator 53.91%, and language indicator 68.11%. In conclusion, the integrated set of mathematics teaching materials of Islamic values is feasible to use with an average percentage of validation results of 80.79% and an average percentage of student positive response results of 61.20%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out where the difficulty of teacher competence is when implementing online mathematics materials. When online learning mathematics material, many students complain and get low learning outcomes. There are 92% of students have difficulty learning mathematics online. The basis of this problem needs to be analyzed where the difficulty of mathematics teacher competence in online learning. Data collection techniques with observations and shared instruments. The analysis is done by presenting the data, reducing it, and drawing conclusions. Results, 1) Online learning with the 2013 curriculum is still 95%. 2) There is no preparation and only the provision of package books. Student assessment of professional teacher competence 62% disagree and 45% pedagogically disagree, this disagreement is because the module was not prepared by the teacher himself. 3) 57, 14% disagree with the assessment method, the material being tested is more difficult than what is taught, and this is the cause of low learning outcomes. 4) Difficulty operating media, writing symbols, proving, explaining concepts, internet network, and correcting assignments. In conclusion, the difficulty lies in teachers with pedagogical competence with minimal learning aids and professional competence who cannot explain concepts in the media and are not assisted by self-made modules.

Abstract

The challenges in learning mathematics at schools could be worrying because the delivery is usually less interesting which makes students feel bored with the lesson. Mathematics from the student’s perspective is considered a scary subject because it is very difficult to understand. This study aims to determine the feasibility level of learning media using Plotagon software in Mathematics Subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Terangun. This type of study is research and development (RD). The model used in this study is the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA I SMA Negeri 1 Terangun. Data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaires and observations. The instrument used is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of the study obtained were Plotagon Learning Media in the Mathematics Subject Circle material received an assessment with average score 3,36 from material experts, 3,45 from media experts, 3,80 from small group students and 3,83 from large group students. So it can be concluded that the Plotagon software learning media in the Mathematics subject matter Circle is suitable for learning at SMA Negeri 1 Terangun.
