Abstract

This study examined the contemporary challenges, contextual realities, and transformative prospects surrounding the subject under investigation, highlighting its significance to societal progress, institutional efficiency, and sustainable national development. Anchored on clearly defined research objectives, the study adopted a qualitative and quantitative methodological approach, drawing on primary insights and reputable secondary data sourced from the National Bureau of Statistics, Central Bank of Nigeria, and other authoritative publications. The findings revealed that despite the strategic relevance of the sector, progress remains hindered by weak policy implementation, limited capacity, inadequate funding, and fragmented institutional coordination, all of which continue to constrain meaningful outcomes. However, the analysis equally demonstrated that tangible improvement is achievable through data-driven planning, strengthened governance structures, stakeholder collaboration, and enhanced public awareness supported by evidence-based reforms. The conclusion therefore underscores the need for a collective commitment to accountability, transparency, and inclusive participation in order to deliver long-term impact and sustainable development. Consequently, the study recommends comprehensive policy enforcement by government, curriculum and professional reforms within institutions, stronger judicial and legislative backing, community-focused advocacy by civil society organisations, increased technical support from international partners, and the mobilisation of public awareness by the media. Ultimately, the study contributes to the growing body of knowledge and offers a practical framework for strengthening institutional performance and advancing national development objectives in Nigeria and beyond.

Abstract

The near-sacred caution surrounding the study of early Muslim feuds, while understandable, has become counterproductive. It stems from an outdated, individual-centered notion of history that equates inquiry with accusation. As long as Muslims remain bound by this paradigm, they will continue to treat one of the most formative periods of their civilization as a forbidden zone. A shift toward structural analysis offers a way forward. By focusing on institutions, conceptual understandings, socio-economic forces, and historical contingencies rather than personal blame, Muslims can reclaim their past as a source of insight rather than anxiety. This approach neither diminishes the sahaba nor threatens unity; it honors their struggle by situating it within the complex reality of a community both divinely guided and profoundly human.

Abstract

Over centuries, microorganisms have puzzled microbiologists due to their wonders. This descriptive qualitative study adopted Thematic Approach and Synoptic Approach to unravel how Qur'an allude to these wonders. Tafsir Ibn Kathir was used for preliminary interpretation of identified verses. Data concerning wonders of microorganisms were screened from online databases. The preposition مِن (part of) used in the phrase لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا أَصْغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ (not even the weight of a speck of dust or less than that or greater escapes His knowledge in the heavens or in the earth but it is in a Clear Book) of Qur’an, 61:10, as used in Qur’an, 34:3, allude that, even microorganisms and their tiniest particles that makes them, are within Allah’s knowledge. This modest contribution may help people to ponder on presence, greatness, and glory of Allah (S.W.T).
