<![CDATA[The issue of introducing the teaching of Jawi script or khat calligraphy in schools has become a serious issue, as it is facing intense opposition by the non-Malay-Muslims. The issue of introducing a six-page lesson on khat calligraphy in the Year 4 Bahasa Malaysia textbook for vernacular schools also has bring about some hot reactions by political leaders, educationists, and community groups. This is due to the misconception towards the word Jawi itself as most who are against it thought that it is an Islamic teaching when it is actually just a form of Arabic writing system. Therefore, this study aims to identify the role of perceived behavioural control in explaining the acceptance of Indian community in Malaysia towards Jawi-Khat. This study was conducted in Malaysia with a total of 192 respondents. The sampling technique used is convenient sampling. The findings of the study has proven that perceived behavioural control is positive and significant towards the acceptance of Jawi among the Indians community in Malaysia.]]>

<![CDATA[Madura memiliki potensi pengembangan agroindustri obat tradisional dan tanaman rempah. Peluang pengembangan usaha kecil obat tradisional di Madura sebagai penyokong ekonomi rumah tangga masyarakat masih terbuka luas, juga mengingat Madura memiliki banyak tanaman obat-obatan yang turun temurun dan sudah banyak digunakan untuk kesehatan dan kecantikan. Suatu usaha dalam menghasilkan keuntungan membutuhkan manajemen yang baik seperti memberikan label halal terhadap produk yang ia produksi, sehingga memberikan efek yang berbeda dengan produk yang belum memiliki label halal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh label halal terhadap pendapatan agroindustri obat tradisional dan tanaman rempah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Teknik analsis data yaitu analisis Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). PLS-SEM yaitu model persamaan struktural untuk mengembangkan atau memprediksi suatu teori yang sudah ada. Model persamaan yang dianalisis adalah model bagian luar (outer model), model bagian dalam (inner model) dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil analisis PLS, menunjukkan bahwa parameter estimasi antara X dengan Y adalah sebesar -0,530. Dengan taraf signifikansi 0,050 (5%), didapat nilai p-value = 0,029 atau <0,001, dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara Label Halal (X) terhadap Pendapatan Agroindustri (Y).]]>

<![CDATA[Such dimensions like sacred and profane, physical and spiritual; are the examples of how seriously does Islam pay attention to the problem of life as well as representing part of Islamic way of life. Universality and absoluteness in one hand, and relative-particular and keep-changing in the other hand, are some of principles set up by Islam. These two standpoints are grasping and verifying to each other, not the other way around, negating each other. In this context, the understanding of rahmatan lil ‘ālamīn in Islam compromises and boosts both dimensions in life particularly in order to stand for the changes and the various indentity and values in life. This essay in trying to discuss Islamic teachings and values with hermeneutics-philosopical perspectives. The encounter and converge between Islam, values and culture allow an “earthier” standpoint. Theoritically, these priciples can be applied as a standard for Islamic way in encountering and facing other sort of values and cultures. Practically, whatever the dynamics and changes taking place in life should be meant as an enrichment, augmentation, and enlargement the universality feature of Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Coronavirus has spread to over 200 countries. To address them, each country adopted similar, similar policies, which limit the interaction and association of people. As a result of the policy, many disrupted public activities have even stopped, one of which is religious activity. Indonesia, with its largest Muslim population, will also be affected. What is more, Indonesia has a wide variety of ethnic and cultural groups and religious denominations. However, to keep religious activity alive during this pandemic, many citizens took advantage of the media of the Internet. As was done by nahdlatul scholars who conducted online distribution via youtube. <![CDATA[The halal tourism sector has now become a trend in global economic development which does not only offer places of worship at a tourist location. Madura is considered to have a very good development of the halal tourism industry because it has been known as an area that is closely related to Islamic nuances. Tourism Village is an independent living with the potential of the village as a tourist attraction, so each district needs to program a tourist village in order to increase it for the sake of increasing regional income and regional potential. Tourist villages usually fulfill all the elements of tourism that the attraction has. Among them are nature tourism, cultural tourism, and man-made tourism in a certain area supported by attractions, accommodation, and other facilities. This is in accordance with the local wisdom of the community. The tourist village, as a whole, includes all elements in the village to promote local wisdom and wisdom as tourism. This study aims to analyze the model of Islamic tourism that is spread in tourist villages in Bangkalan Regency. It is hoped that this Islamic tourism framework and model can be a reference in formulating innovations in world tourism governance so that the goals and targets desired by the Bangkalan Regency government can be implemented.]]>

<![CDATA[Tourism is a major sector driving the economy in the world including Indonesia, currently halal tourism has become a topic of conversation, many tours have a halal concept and are not well known due to the lack of destination branding efforts in these tours. Destination branding is very influential on regional tourism development. The purpose of this study was to find out what efforts and steps were taken in building halal tourism destination branding by managers and the community at the Jung Koneng Labuhan Mangrove Tourism, Bangkalan. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative which is considered very appropriate for reviewing the application of rules in detail, while the data source is obtained from scientific literature searches which have included various field reviews related to interview materials and documentation. Various kinds of interesting facts related to halal tourism, which in fact this context is still difficult to apply in Indonesia, especially in Bangkalan district, this is because there are many systems and regulations that still do not accommodate halal tourism. The results obtained from this study say that Labuhan Mangrove has carried out several stages of destination branding such as the brand launch and introduction stage, building image, personality and character, only need to carry out other branding stages and need to get wider support so that the Halal tourism concept of Labuhan Mangrove develops.]]>

<![CDATA[The tourism sector is a sector capable of increasing employment and economic growth. Currently halal tourism (halal tourism) is starting to be in great demand. Recorded as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia always makes improvements in the development of halal tourism, one example is on the island of Madura, especially in Bangkalan, namely the Mangrove Education Park Tourism which is in Labuhan Village, Sepulu District, Bangkalan Regency. This research was conducted to determine the tourism potential of the Mangrove Education Park in becoming a halal tourist destination. By using a research method that is descriptive qualitative and using a field study approach, it is hoped that this research can increase readers' understanding of halal tourist destinations and tourism potential that can have the opportunity to become halal tourist destinations.]]>
