Abstract

Public service is an essential element in governance that aims to meet the needs of the community effectively. One of the significant innovations in Indonesia is the Public Service Mall (Mal Pelayanan Publik/MPP), which is an integrated service that integrates various types of services from the central government, local governments, business entities, and private sector in one location. Based on Presidential Regulation Number 89 of 2021, MPP aims to improve efficiency, accessibility, and quality of services, as well as encourage bureaucratic reform towards good governance. The implementation of MPP shows a positive impact in the form of reducing bureaucracy, time and cost efficiency, and increasing regional competitiveness. Vice President Ma'ruf Amin has given directions to implement MPP in all districts and cities. However, challenges still exist, such as institutional conditions both in terms of the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Services Agency (Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Satu Pintu/DPMPTSP) as the MPP coordinator and the service provider by organizations at the MPP, limited human resources, funding, and not all data between services are integrated. The analysis was conducted using a literature study method with data sources from books, journal articles that specifically discuss MPP in terms of policy implementation, legislative documents, reports, and other relevant sources and validated through interviews with the authors of the study related to the implementation of the MPP. The analysis was conducted using Grindle's policy implementation theory which combines the content of policy and the context of implementation, showing that the success of MPP is influenced by institutional support, commitment of related actors, adequate resources and must adjust to the conditions in which MPP policies are implemented. To ensure sustainability, institutional improvement, budget optimization, comprehensive evaluation, and the development of digital MPP as a future innovation are required. After implementing strategic steps, MPP has the potential to become a breakthrough solution in improving public services in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Village Fund and Village Status on stunting in Pesisir Selatan Regency. Using a quantitative approach with multiple regression methods, this study measures how Village Fund allocations and village status contribute to reducing stunting rates. Data was collected through documentation study techniques from relevant agencies and processed to ensure statistical assumptions such as normality, multicollinearity, and homoscedasticity were met. The results show that the Village Fund has no influence on stunting reduction, while the IDM shows a significant influence. This indicates that budget allocations directed towards health and nutrition programs do not have a direct impact on stunting reduction compared to general village infrastructure improvements. This conclusion emphasizes the importance of prioritizing allocations. These results indicate that even if a village achieves progress in terms of infrastructure, economy, and public facilities, it can still reduce the problem of stunting. This study also suggests expanding the scope of variables in the future to enrich the understanding of the factors that affect stunting more comprehensively.

Abstract

The volume of organic waste in East Jakarta continues to increase every year compared to other Jakarta areas. Food loss and food waste are generated from the food & beverage industry such as cafes and dominate the amount of organic waste in East Jakarta. Based on initial interviews, cafe’s management does not have a sense of urgency and believes that waste management will only increase costs. Cafes do not have standards for material usage so that a lot of waste generated from cafe operations. This study aims to analyze the relationship of pro-environmental behavior with food loss and food waste from the operations of four cafes in East Jakarta. The calculation of food loss and food waste is analyzed using material flow cost accounting (MFCA). The theory of pro-environmental behavior is used to explore management behavior in everyday life. Management understanding influences cafe operations by applying management habits to cafe operations. This research strategy is a case study, using observations, interviews, and data on cafe expenses for a week. This research uses descriptive quantitative, content, thematic, and constant comparative analysis. From the analysis, it was found that food loss and food waste in four cafes amounted to 7%-9% and that cafe management that does not have pro-environmental behavior has an influence on the amount of food loss and food waste when compared to management that is pro-environment. This explains that cafe management that does not have pro-environmental behavior has an influence on the amount of food loss and food waste when compared to managers or owners who have pro-environmental behavior.

Abstract

Agile methodologies have gained popularity for their adaptability, faster time-to-market, and enhanced customer satisfaction. However, sustaining their use post-adoption poses challenges, including knowledge gaps, resistance to change, and communication issues. This study examines the determinants of continued use of Agile methods at PT XYZ, an e-commerce enabler in Indonesia. Using the Expectation Confirmation Model and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, data from 61 IT staff members were analyzed to evaluate relationships between Confirmation, Perceived Usefulness, Satisfaction, and Continuance Intention. Results reveal that CO positively impacts PU and SA, while PU and SA significantly influence CI. Satisfaction emerges as a critical mediator between perceived value and continued use. These findings highlight the importance of aligning Agile practices with user expectations and perceived benefits to ensure sustained adoption. Practical implications include the need for comprehensive training, regular evaluations of team satisfaction, and organizational alignment with Agile principles.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of macroeconomic variable determinants, namely inflation, exchange rates, profit-sharing, and economic growth, on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method, this research identifies both short-term and long-term relationships between these variables. Data were obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) during the period of 2012–2022. The results indicate that exchange rates and economic growth have a significant impact on the ISSI in both the short and long term. However, inflation does not show a significant effect in either time frame. This study provides important implications for investors and policymakers in understanding the dynamics of the sharia capital market in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the inequality of per capita consumption expenditure in South Sumatra, the influence of per capita GRDP, education level, population dependency ratio, and Human Development Index among districts/cities in South Sumatra during the period 2012-2023. The research method used is quantitative, with a regression analysis approach to test hypotheses about the relationship between the mentioned variables. Data were obtained from official sources of the South Sumatra Statistics Indonesia (BPS), covering consumption expenditure inequality, education level percentage, population dependency ratio, and the Human Development Index. The results of the analysis show that districts/cities in South Sumatra are categorized as moderately unequal between 0.25-0.35, however, Pali Regency, Musi Rawas Utara Regency, and Musi Rawas Regency have low inequality values < 0.25, while Palembang City and Lubuk Linggau City are almost approaching the very unequal criteria with values of 0.34 and 0.33 respectively. In the estimation of the multiple regression model from 4 (four) independent variables, there are 3 (three) variables that significantly influence per capita consumption expenditure, namely: Population Education Percentage (ED), Population Dependency Ratio (DR), and Human Development Index (IPM).
