Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder that demands continuous and disciplined self-management to prevent severe systemic complications. Despite its critical importance, patient adherence to regular blood glucose tracking, dietary restrictions, and medication schedules remains low in Indonesia. This study addresses these challenges by developing and evaluating DiabetesKu, a native mobile health application designed to facilitate independent diabetes management. Engineered using Android Studio with the Kotlin programming language, the system implements the Model-View-ViewModel MVVM architecture to decouple business logic from the user interface, while leveraging the Firebase cloud ecosystem for secure, real-time data synchronization and automated reminder deployment. The application integrates core features such as interactive health logging, contextual diabetes education, medication alarms, macronutrient tracking, and direct consultation channels. To evaluate its structural integrity and operational viability, a multi-tiered testing framework was applied. Automated Black Box testing using the Espresso framework across ten critical functional scenarios achieved a 100% success rate, confirming high code stability. Furthermore, field usability evaluations involving active diabetes patients demonstrated an outstanding cumulative satisfaction rate of 91.7%, with users highly praising its clinical usefulness, navigational simplicity, and visual accessibility. The empirical results demonstrate that DiabetesKu is a highly reliable and user-accepted digital health solution capable of promoting patient compliance and reinforcing independent lifestyle control in daily diabetes care.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of professionalism on organizational commitment, the influence of professionalism on employee performance, the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance, and the influence of professionalism on employee performance through organizational commitment. This study employs an explanatory research method. The sample consists of 47 employees of the Malang City Civil Service and Human Resources Agency. The sampling technique used was a census. The statistical analysis used was SmartPLS. The study's findings confirm that professionalism not only has a significant direct impact on boosting employee commitment and performance, but also has indirect effects. A competent work attitude and strong work ethic have been shown to strengthen employee loyalty to the organization, which in turn leads to increased productivity and collective performance.

Abstract

One of the sectors with strong potential to increase Blitar Regency’s Regional Own Revenue is the Lahor Tourism Area. Retribution income from this area contributes significantly to the total retribution income, yet remains under-optimized due to internal and external challenges such as monitoring weaknesses, technical issues in collection, and competing destinations. This study applies a novel methodological approach by combining micro-level revenue estimation based on vehicle sampling with SWOT analysis to assess potential revenue and formulate optimization strategies. The findings reveal that the potential retribution revenue reaches IDR 2.89 billion per year, far exceeding actual collections, and that the management condition is classified under the PRIMA category. This explicit methodological novelty contributes to the literature on local revenue and tourism levy optimization by demonstrating how micro-estimation techniques can be systematically integrated with strategic analysis. In practical terms, the results provide policy implications for the Blitar Regency Government in designing more effective and transparent retribution management systems.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of collective leadership, interpersonal relations, and performance. The object of this study is the members of the Commission of the Cimuning Congregation of the Pasundan Christian Church. In this study, the researcher intends to look more deeply into the influence of collective leadership and interpersonal relations on the performance of commission members. The researcher used a quantitative approach; the population of the study is the commission members; the sample amounted to 35 people. The sample selection used a purposive sampling technique. The data were processed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions application. Through SPSS, the researcher conducted a multiple linear regression analysis and tested the hypotheses. The results of the study state that, partially, collective leadership does not have an effect on the performance of commission members. Meanwhile, interpersonal relations have a positive effect on the performance of commission members. The results of the study give an indication that collective leadership cannot become a single variable in influencing the performance of commission members. Collective leadership requires interpersonal relations in the context of this study. In addition, the better the interpersonal relations, the more the performance of commission members increases. This indication can become a practical suggestion for the GKP Cimuning Commission to be able to strengthen interpersonal relations.

Abstract

The banking sector functions to mobilize and channel public funds, thereby maintaining national economic stability. In the post-COVID-19 era, the sector has faced intense competition in gathering public funds, also known as third-party funds. Despite this fierce competition, banks have actually experienced a significant increase in third-party funds, driven largely by the rapid growth of new digital banks. This surge in digital bank deposits suggests a migration of funds from conventional banks to digital banks. This study focuses on KBMI 2 banks, which are potentially the most directly affected by this shift of funds to digital banks. Digital banks offer several advantages, such as high deposit interest rates, digital services, greater efficiency, and attractive promotional offers. These advantages serve as a benchmark for KBMI 2 banks seeking to boost their third-party funds; the study examines factors including interest rate differentials, digital transformation, the BOPO ratio operating expenses to operating income, and promotional spending. The research employed panel data covering KBMI 2 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2025, using purposive sampling to select a sample of seven banks. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the causal relationships between the independent and dependent variables. The results indicate that interest rate differentials 0.0043, digital transformation, and the BOPO ratio 0.0442 significantly influence third-party funds, whereas promotional spending 0.8936 does not. The recommended business strategy for KBMI 2 banks is to implement attractive deposit interest rates, adopt digitally transformed services, and maintain efficient operational performance to drive the growth of third-party funds.

Abstract

Improving environmental quality requires the integration of ecological values, environmental education, and sustainable economic behavior. However, the relationships among these components have not been widely examined in an integrated manner within the context of community-based empowerment. This study aims to develop an integrative model and validate it through a study at the Environmental Education Center Seloliman. The study employs a Sequential Exploratory Mixed Method approach that combines a Systematic Literature Review of 45 scientific articles based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and a Focus Group Discussion with managers, academics, village government, and the community. Data were analyzed using thematic coding and thematic synthesis. The results show that ecological values serve as the foundation for shaping sustainable economic behavior, while environmental education acts as a transformation mechanism that strengthens changes in community behavior. Empirical validation shows that community-based learning encourages the adoption of environmentally friendly practices and contributes to improved environmental performance. This study produces an integrative model that can serve as a basis for developing environmental education and community empowerment policies to support sustainable development.
