Abstract

The growth of Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage services in Indonesia demands travel agencies to improve service quality through information technology. Many agencies still manage reservation, payment, and pilgrim data manually, causing service delays, recording errors, and lack of transaction transparency. This study designed and built a web-based Hajj and Umrah reservation and tour management system integrated with Midtrans payment gateway, using the Scrum development methodology. The system supports pilgrim registration, travel package selection, pilgrim data management, and online payment. Black box testing was applied to verify all functional requirements. Results show the system successfully automated reservation and payment confirmation, reducing processing time from 30–60 minutes to 5–10 minutes, improving data accuracy and operational transparency for PT Raudhoh Wisata Bahari.

Abstract

CV Berkah Abadi is a digital printing company that predominantly operates through manual processes to complete sales transactions and track inventory. This dependence often leads to mistakes in recording data, delays in reporting, and lack of oversight of inventory levels. This study was done to find a web-based Point of Sales system that could serve as an efficiency and effectiveness tool for sales transactions, inventory control, and report generation. The development process followed Agile Development using the Scrum framework, followed by the system design using Unified Modeling Language. The system was built using PHP and JavaScript programming languages alongside Black Box Testing. According to the research findings, the proposed web-based POS technology is able to successfully track its sales transactions and inventory, automatic sales report creation, and real-time sales and inventory information processing. According to test outcomes, all major functionalities of the system meet user needs. In such way the implemented web-based POS system promotes enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of sales transaction management at CV Berkah Abadi.

Abstract

Instagram has fundamentally transformed how halal cosmetic brands build identity and consumer trust in the world's largest Muslim market. This study investigates the mechanisms through which Wardah constructs its Muslimah beauty brand image via Instagram, integrating consumer, industry practitioner, and sales personnel perspectives. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a constructivism paradigm, data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight purposively selected informants comprising five active consumers, one professional make-up artist, one Wardah Beauty Agent, and one sales person. Source triangulation ensured data validity. Three primary mechanisms were identified: aesthetically consistent visual content communicating halal, modern, and inspirational values; responsive two-way interaction fostering consumer trust and loyalty; and strategic collaboration with hijab-wearing influencers reinforcing brand authenticity. The consistency between digital brand image and real-world product experience proves foundational to Wardah's brand equity. This study contributes to the literature on integrated marketing communication strategies of halal brands in emerging markets, and identifies a fourth dimension of brand image-religious image as cultural identity-beyond Biel's classical framework.

Abstract

This research investigates the construction of a web-based Material Quality Monitoring Information System for PT MBR using the Rapid Application Development method. This study was undertaken because recording incoming materials, defect monitoring, and supplier assessment are still manual processes using Microsoft Excel, resulting in less efficient performance, time-dependent reporting requirements, and higher risk of data input errors and duplication. This research aims to create a system to perform material quality monitoring activities more efficiently, and that is integrated, rather than single task. Methods of data collection which are considered for our study include observation, interviews, and literature reviews. It encompasses requirements, design analysis, implementation, and testing. The development process is to design the system using the Unified Modelling Language and implemented with Laravel, Bootstrap, Chart.js framework and MySQL DB. The system produced has capabilities for handling incoming material data handling, documentation and managing defect data, material quality monitoring dashboard and defect percentage dashboard by suppliers for defect performance assessment. Further, the system can display material quality information in graphs and reports that can be accessed online in real time for ease of monitoring and decision-making of users. The work outcomes indicate that the system developed demonstrates the system integration in that all the material quality information can be integrated in one structured and easy-to-use web platform accessible more seamlessly to the users. Using the black box test results, all the system functions worked according to user requirement. And as such, it can be used by PT MBR for material quality monitoring and supplier evaluation.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of money supply, exchange rate, inflation, and interest rate on bank credit in Indonesia using monthly time-series data from January 2004 to December 2024. The study applies the Autoregressive Distributed Lag approach and the Error Correction Model to distinguish short-run dynamics from long-run relationships. The selected ARDL model shows that money supply has a positive and significant short-run effect on bank credit, highlighting the role of liquidity in banking intermediation. Exchange rate movements exert significant lagged effects, suggesting that external monetary pressures influence credit gradually. Inflation negatively affects bank credit with a lag, indicating that price instability may weaken credit expansion. Conversely, the interest rate is not retained in the optimal model, implying a weaker direct transmission effect. The Bounds Test does not confirm cointegration, suggesting no stable long-run equilibrium. Overall, Indonesian bank credit is more responsive to short-run macroeconomic fluctuations than to persistent long-run relationships during the period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of employee mindfulness on work engagement with self-efficacy as a mediating variable in Bank Nagari Padang employees. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data were collected from 159 respondents through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling method. The results of the study indicate that employee mindfulness has a positive and significant effect on work engagement, employee mindfulness has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work engagement, and self-efficacy is able to mediate the effect of employee mindfulness on work engagement. This study is supported by Job Demands-Resources Theory which explains that personal resources owned by individuals, such as employee mindfulness and self-efficacy, can increase work motivation and employee engagement in work. In addition, Conservation of Resources Theory explains that individuals who have good psychological resources tend to be able to develop other resources, resulting in more positive work conditions. In this study, employee mindfulness helps increase employee self-efficacy, which ultimately encourages increased work engagement among Bank Nagari Padang employees.
