Pancasila and Citizenship Education Journal: Media Study of Pancasila and Citizenship Education is focused on the study of discourse and citizenship practices in the dimensions and perspectives of cultural diversity, equality, and social justice in the context of socio-economic, civic education and learning, related to issues of social and moral responsibility, community involvement and political literacy, as well as legal awareness. This journal publishes scientific and research-based articles on various Pancasila and civic education, and educational topics where conceptual issues of citizenship, local wisdom, political education, legal education, multiculturalism, and plurality issues are discussed. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Journal are very interested in scientific and professional studies in the discourse and practice of citizenship. We seek submissions of articles that cross the lines of scientific disciplines (interdisciplinary perspectives) that aim at the development of Pancasila and citizenship studies and citizenship education in the local, national, and global scope. Our particular attention is paid to works dealing with historical and contemporary questions of concern regarding other dimensions, meanings, and forms in relation to citizenship and contributing to education for citizenship. Each article published has gone through a peer-reviewed process by designated experts. They have experience in journal management and article publications in prestigious journals. The article published in Kewarganegaraan has met the requirements set by the Editorial Board of this journal.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPancasila is the ideology and philosophy of the Indonesian nation that guides the way of life of the nation and state. Actualizing its values is crucial to addressing the challenges of the times and moral degradation. One form of implementation is through public policy. The Banten Provincial Government, which has a high tax revenue ratio, has launched a new public transportation program called Trans Banten, funded by the regional budget (APBD). This program was initiated as an application of Pancasila values, particularly the second, fourth, and fifth principles, with the aim of providing a safer, more comfortable, integrated, and equitable transportation system. However, the introduction of Trans Banten has generated both pros and cons, particularly opposition from local public transportation drivers who have experienced a decline in income. This phenomenon demonstrates the dynamic between the need for transportation modernization and social justice for those operating in the old system. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how Pancasila values are applied in the management of the Trans Banten program and assess its impact on community welfare.Keywords: Pancasila Values, Tax Management, Public Services, Trans Banten, Social Justice ABSTRAKPancasila merupakan ideologi dan pandangan hidup bangsa Indonesia yang memandu tata kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Aktualisasi nilai-nilainya menjadi penting untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman dan degradasi moral. Salah satu bentuk implementasinya adalah melalui kebijakan publik. Pemerintah Provinsi Banten, yang memiliki rasio penerimaan pajak tinggi, telah meluncurkan program transportasi publik baru bernama Trans Banten yang didanai oleh APBD. Program ini diinisiasi sebagai penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila, khususnya sila kedua, keempat, dan kelima, dengan tujuan menghadirkan sistem transportasi yang lebih aman, nyaman, terintegrasi, dan berkeadilan. Namun, kehadiran Trans Banten menimbulkan pro dan kontra, terutama penolakan dari sopir angkot lokal yang mengalami penurunan pendapatan. Fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya dinamika antara kebutuhan modernisasi transportasi dan keadilan sosial bagi pelaku sistem lama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana nilai-nilai Pancasila diterapkan dalam pengelolaan program Trans Banten dan menilai seberapa besar dampaknya terhadap kesejahteraan Masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Nilai Pancasila, Pengelolaan Pajak, Pelayanan Publik, Trans Banten, Keadilan Sosial

Abstract

ABSTRACTTikTok is currently the most influential social media platform in shaping public political opinion, including that of students. This study aims to analyze the impact of TikTok on the political views of students enrolled in the 2025 Pancasila and Citizenship Education undergraduate program at Malang State University and to identify the obstacles students face when expressing their political opinions on TikTok. This study uses a quantitative method with a random survey model using random sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted through Google Forms. This study produced 1) A clear picture of the extent to which TikTok social media influences the political awareness of PPKn students. 2) The obstacles encountered, particularly by TikTok users and PPKn students.Keywords: SocialMedia, TikTok, Political Opinions, PPKn Students ABSTRAKTikTok di era ini merupakan media sosial paling massif dalam membentuk opini politik masyarakat tak terkecuali opini politik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan media sosial TikTok terhadap cara pandang politik mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Angkatan 2025 Universitas Negeri Malang dan apa saja kendala yang ditemukan saat mahasiswa menyatakan opini politiknya melalui TikTok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan model survey secara acak menggunakan teknik random sampling. Adapun pengumpulan datanya melalui Google Form. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 1) Gambaran yang jelas mengenai sejauh mana pengaruh media sosial TikTok dalam membentuk kesadaran politik mahasiswa PPKn. 2) kendala yang ditemukan khususnya pengguna TikTok dan mahasiswa PPKn.Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, TikTok, Opini Politik, Mahasiswa PPKn

Abstract

ABSTRACTEducation plays a vital role in shaping students’ character and morality as part of efforts to achieve national goals. In the Indonesian context, Pancasila serves as the primary foundation of character education that needs to be instilled from the elementary school level, as this stage marks the early formation of children’s personalities. This article examines the internalization of moral values, the role of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) in cultivating moral values, and moral values relevant to elementary school students. The method employed is a literature review through the analysis of books, scholarly journals, and related educational documents. The findings indicate that PPKn learning contributes significantly to the development of students’ civic character, including honesty, responsibility, tolerance, and social awareness. The internalization of moral values is most effective when implemented in a planned and continuous manner through teacher role modeling, habituation activities, and contextual learning that is closely connected to students’ daily lives. Therefore, moral education in elementary schools not only focuses on value transmission but also functions as a fundamental strategy in preparing a generation that is well-characterized, has integrity, and can contribute positively to society.Keywords: Moral Education, Value Internalization, Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), Civic Character, Elementary School ABSTRAKPendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan moral peserta didik sebagai bagian dari upaya mewujudkan tujuan nasional. Dalam konteks Indonesia, Pancasila menjadi dasar utama pendidikan karakter yang perlu ditanamkan sejak sekolah dasar, karena pada tahap ini kepribadian anak mulai terbentuk. Artikel ini membahas internalisasi nilai moral, peran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dalam penanaman nilai moral, serta nilai-nilai moral yang relevan bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur melalui penelaahan buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen pendidikan terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn berkontribusi signifikan dalam menumbuhkan karakter kewarganegaraan siswa yang jujur, bertanggung jawab, toleran, dan memiliki kepedulian sosial. Proses internalisasi nilai moral akan berjalan optimal apabila dilaksanakan secara terencana dan berkesinambungan melalui keteladanan guru, pembiasaan, serta pembelajaran kontekstual yang sesuai dengan kehidupan siswa. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan moral di sekolah dasar tidak hanya berfokus pada penanaman nilai, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai strategi utama dalam menyiapkan generasi yang berkarakter, berintegritas, dan mampu berperan positif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Moral, Internalisasi Nilai, PPKn, Karakter Kewarganegaraan, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the implementation of State Defense (Bela Negara) educatio in strengthening student nationalism in the Society 5.0 era. In this era, technology integration and human-centered society pose both opportunities and threats to national identity. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through literature studies. The results indicate that adapting State Defense education through digital literacy and soft skills development is crucial. Students show increased awareness of nationalism not only physically but also through digital sovereignty. This research concludes that the contextualization of State Defense values is necessary to prepare students to face global challenges without losing their national identity.Keywords: State Defense, Nationalism, Society 5.0, StudentsABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pendidikan Bela Negara dalam memperkuat nasionalisme mahasiswa di era Society 5.0. Pada era ini, integrasi teknologi dan masyarakat yang berpusat pada manusia membawa peluang sekaligus ancaman bagi identitas nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi pendidikan Bela Negara melalui literasi digital dan pengembangan soft skills sangat krusial. Mahasiswa menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran nasionalisme tidak hanya secara fisik, tetapi juga melalui kedaulatan digital.
