Abstract

Abstract Background, the implementation of flashcard media as a reproductive health learning medium for pre-school children is still very rarely applied by nurses in the community in schools to provide health education. The aim of this research is to increase the knowledge of pre-school age children about reproductive health through flashcards. Method, type of quantitative research with purposive sampling technique with statistical test dependent sample t-test (paired t test with (error level) of 5%. Results, flashcard media can help preschoolers in increasing children's knowledge about reproductive health. Conclusion, there is an increase in the level of knowledge after the treatment of health education for preschool age children using flashcard media. Suggestions, flashcard media can be used as learning media in early childhood.

Abstract

PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) is very important in the household. The Covid-19 pandemic period has made us stay at home longer so that household PHBS needs to be improved, as one of the things that can improve family health. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of household PHBS education on the level of knowledge of health cadres before and after being given education. This type of research is analytic with a quasi-experimental technique with a two-group pre-post-test approach. The target population is all active health cadres in the Kebonsari Surabaya with the criteria are adults over 21–59 years old, can read and write well, live in the Kebonsari Surabaya. The sample was 66 respondents who were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group 33 respondents and the control group 33 respondents. The instrument used was a knowledge level questionnaire that was given before and after the household PHBS education intervention. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank and Mann Whitney test with a significance level of = 0.05. The results of the different post-test experimental and control groups using the Mann Whitney test obtained a value of = 0.000 with a significance level of = 0.05, which means that there is an influence of household PHBS education through flipchart printed media on the knowledge of health cadres. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of household PHBS education through flipchart media on the knowledge of health cadres

Abstract

The period of development of infants and children is a period of rapid growth and development and this determines their further development. Roesli (2009) in his research found that toddlers experience gross motor disorders as much as 31.2%, fine motor skills 14.3%, while those who experience language disorders are 19.1% and those who experience social personal disorders are 11.5%. Monitoring is very necessary to detect early deviations in child development. This study aims to determine the determinants of the use of pre-screening child development questionnaires for posyandu cadres in the working area of ??the Benteng Bangka Tengah Health Center in 2021. This type of research is cross sectional, the type of data collection is total sampling. The use of the Pre-screening Questionnaire for Child Development in Posyandu Cadres in the Work Area of ??the Benteng Bangka Tengah Health Center was 21 (35%) cadres. Determinants related to the use of the Pre-screening Questionnaire for Child Development in Posyandu Cadres in the Work Area of ??the Benteng Bangka Tengah Health Center were the participation of cadres in KPSP training, the availability of facilities and infrastructure and the support of health workers. Benteng Health Center in order to facilitate KPSP training for cadres who have not been trained sothat the ability of cadres can increase so that the use of KPSP can be more evenly distributed.

Abstract

One of the problems of growth and development in toddlers is stunting. Stunting or low TB/U index is caused by socio-economic conditions, maternal nutrition during pregnancy, comorbidities in infants, lack of nutritional intake in infants and parenting patterns, and education level of parents of children under five. Indonesia is a developing country that contributes to the growth of stunting in children under five in the world, where Indonesia is currently ranked fifth in stunting in children under five in the world. Based on UNICEF data (2020) it states that the number of stunting events has increased globally by 15% due to COVID-19 in 2020. Meanwhile, data according to the Indonesian Ministry of Health states that the incidence of stunting is quite high, namely, 27.67% in 2020. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of android application-based stunting education to increase mothers' knowledge and attitudes so that stunting in children under two years can be prevented. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The tools that will be used are android-based media applications, WHO anthro software, weight scales, microtome, and questionnaires. Data analysis using a non-parametric test (Wilcoxon). The study was conducted at the Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru Health Center with a sample of 54 respondents. There is an effect of stunting education using an android application (p) 0.0001<0.05 on increasing knowledge and attitudes of mothers at the Tenayan Raya Public Health Center Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Patient Simulation that can play a significant role or High Fidelity Simulation (HFS) has not been widely applied in Indonesia. A practice-based simulation model (PBSM) is an alternative to HFS because it can affect skill performance and self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of PBSM on the psychomotor and self-efficacy of nursing students in the nursing skill laboratory. The study used a quantitative method (Quasy Experiment), with a pretest-posttest approach without a control group. The population of this study was students at STIKes PMC Pekanbaru. Sampling using nonprobability sampling technique with 32 respondents and data analysis using Wilcoxon. PBSM affects psychomotor and self-efficacy (p) 0.000 <0.05, the ability to think consciously has a relatively limited capacity in the brain so it needs to be trained with various scientific approaches and PBSM is proven to be effective in increasing psychomotor and self-efficacy. PBSM has the advantage of increasing students' psychomotor and self-efficacy, but it is necessary to do a further in-depth study of the PBSM method with a more different method, duration of time, and measurement technique.

Abstract

In mental health nursing, disease history data and treatment are indispensable in the provision of nursing care. The difficulty of mental disorder patients to tell their medical history and health status becomes difficult for nurses in data collection, while the data is needed to enforce nursing diagnoses. For that, it takes a standardized documenting with a standard format, accurate and simple. Electronic Health Record (EHR) is one of the documenting technologies that have been well standardized. The goal is to identify research articles on The Use of Electronic Health Record (EHR). The library review method is to analyze scientific articles from 4 databases namely BMC Health Service Research, BMC Medical Information & Decision Making, Ebscohost, and Google Scholar. Research Article inclusion criteria, 2011-2021, English. Obtained 10 journals using PICO formulation. Research article analysis techniques are with a table format containing authors, titles, years, methods (design, sample and analysis), and results. Based on 10 research articles obtained shows that EHR that has been integrated between health services, making access between health services open so that the quality of client care becomes better. All articles show different results.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual disease that causes physical discomfort and can interfere with daily activities. Dysmenorrhea often attacks adolescent girls in their productive age. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in the world is more than 50% of women experiencing dysmenorrhea, while in Indonesia it reaches 55% of adolescents experiencing dysmenorrhea. The results of the preliminary study showed that from 20 female students there were 11 (55%) who experienced dysmenorrhea and 9 people (45%) did not experience dysmenorrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with dysmenorrhea. Methods: This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross sectional design. The population of this study was all 106 young women of class X SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample size of 84 people. Data analysis using Chi-square test. Results: Teenage girls who experienced primary dysmenorrhea at SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul were 77.4%. There was a relationship between a family history of dysmenorrhea and the incidence of dysmenorrhea (p value = 0.000). There is no relationship between menarche at an early age, amount of menstrual blood, duration of menstruation, and nutritional status with the incidence of dysmenorrhea. Conclusion: The factor that influences the incidence of dysmenorrhea in class X adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul is a family history of menstrual pain.
