Abstract

The core of the paradigmatic disability of the world of Islamic thought, for Al-Mestiry, is the separation of the history of civilization from science. The challenge of modernity (tahaddiyât al-hadâtsah) of Muslims today is not only about the authentication (at-ta'shîl) of thought but at the same time about the revitalization of knowledge. The reading pattern of the structural dichotomy will never be able to accommodate knowledge in its entirety. For Al-Mestiry, the revolution of thought is an absolute requirement for generating civilization. Therefore, it is necessary to read integrally-dialectically through intra-epistema (at-tadâkhul al-ma'rifî) in the framework of total vision (ar-ru'yah al-kulliyyah) who heed the dialogical process of two points of view in it: ar-ru 'yah at-turâsiyyah and ar-ru'yah al-hadâtsiyyah. Thus, the momentum awareness (wa’yu al-mu'asharah) of change and renewal will teach humans about the openness of interpretation of the culture of religious thought (at-turâts).

Abstract

This discussion aims to find out how the four madhab imams explain the hujjah (concept of arguments) of ahad hadith specifically in the al-Kutub al-Sittaħ . This discussion used a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Based on the results of the discussion, the four imams have different views on the hujjah of ahad hadith. However, they agreed to use hadith as a secondary source of Islamic laws after the Qur’an. Based on the compilation of all hadith books which belong to al-Maṣādir al-Aṣlīyah, scholars of the hadith agree that the hadith books of Imam Bukhārī and Imam Muslim are the most authentic. The implications of this article indicate that the existing hadiths, which are compiled in al-Kutub al-Sittaħ, are a collection of hadits that can be scientifically accounted for in terms of their quality, so that it is no doubt to use them as one of the sources of the Islamic laws after the Qur’an.

Abstract

Deparating from the emergence of the contestation over the use of veils in Indonesia, this study was aimed to explore the problematic (debate)of the use of the veil and how the contestation of interpretation authority from the circles works in it. This study employed a historical approach. The result of this study shows that: (1)the problematic(debate)of veil can be classification in three periods;(i)Classic-medieval period; a fikih expert vs a fikih expert; by monodiciplnier approach (textual)(ii)contemporer period; a islamic expertvsa a islamic expert; by the interdiciplinier approach vs monodiciplinier or textual vs contextual(iii) media period; general society. (2) the problematic (debate) raises two aspect:(i)discontuniuty aspect: a paradigm shifting in a periode between the each other period, (i)continuitas aspect: in spite of totality the problematic (debate) is dissareed paradigm, but the real of theproblematic (debate) is related with the same normative texts.

Abstract

Syekh Siti Jenar's tomb is present as a culture in the community. Through this tomb, people feel closer to God. The mysticism built by the community gave another view of the tomb. In his view, making rites an expression of something else or called mysticism and sacred. The main problem in this study is enough for two things; [1] How is Mysticism in Sheikh Siti Jenar's Tomb? [2] How is the Function of Sheikh Siti Jenar's Mysticism of the Manunggaling Kawulo Gusti for pilgrims? This study is a field research field research using qualitative descriptive methods, and uses a phenomenological approach, in this method intends to draw facts and phenomena that exist. The results of this study show that the surrounding community and pilgrims believe that Sheikh Siti Jenar's tomb has a negative aura that is mystical. So that Syekh Siti Jenar's grave is a form or form of community religiosity, especially for pilgrims who come to the tomb to ask for prayer and ask for peace of life through the remembrance of Syekh Siti Jenar's tomb, this action is manifested in the process of Manunggaling Kawulo Gusti. to his Lord, because the essence of God really exists in humans.

Abstract

This paper discusses the meaning of ‘Usr and Yusr on QS. Al-Insyirah: 5-6. To understand the meaning of a word or structure of Quranic verses is highly complex. Thus, understanding semantically becomes an alternative, that is to reveal the synchronous and diachronic meanings. This study explains two conclusions. Firstly, the basic meaning is a meaning that is absolutely attached to the intended word, without being able to be changed by anyone as long as there is an agreement between the speakers. In obtaining the basic meaning of the word 'usr there are several meanings, among others: oppression, distress, being poor and so on. While the word yusr has the meaning das` ar as follows: easy, gentle, and so on. While the relational meaning is the meaning will change according to the elements that accompany it. The word 'usr there is a new meaning of meaning when juxtaposed with other words, as follows: oppressive, blackmail, precarious, and so on. While the relational meaning of the word yusr has several meanings: left wing troops, available, giving birth easily. Second, synchronicity is research by focusing on one particular period, whereas diachronic is research by considering the development of language from one time to another, both before and after. Then in the meaning of the Qur'an simplified into three parts: Pre-Qur'anic, Qur'anic and third post-Qur'anic.

Abstract

Halal tourism is one of the current trends in sharia business trends (State of the Global Islamic Economy 2017-2018). This proves that the term halal which was formerly just something that is permissible in Islam, has now become a necessity and lifestyle for Muslim communities in the country even on the international scene. Because these tours use halal branding that cannot be separated from Islamic sharia, this study aims to explain the concept of halal tourism in the Qur’anic perspective. This research is a qualitative research through research literature sourced from interpretation books both offline and online, journals relating to halal tourism propositions and other primary text sources. This study uses a descriptive analytical approach. The results of the literature review analysis show that the application of halal concepts in tourism is proof of the flexibility of Islamic sharia at a practical level. The argument regarding the command to consume halal products has been written in the Holy Qur’an, Surat al-Baqarah, verses 162 and 172, and looking for something lawful for every Muslim in daily life is to have a law that must be carried out, this is based on the Prophet’s words: “looking for the lawful is obligatory for every Muslim” (HR Thabrani). The tourism in the Qur’anic perspective is contained in the following verses: Q.S. Al-Mulk verse 15, Q.S. Al-’Ankabut verse 20, Q.S. Ali ‘Imron verses 137 and 191, Q.S. Al-’An’am verse 11, Q.S. An-Naml verse 69, QS. Al-Mu’min verses 21 and 64, Q.S. An-Nahl verse 36, Q.S. Ar-Rum verse 42. The sentence سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ in the Qur’an other than as a proposition for travel, the sentence instructs people to explore and explore all of Allah’s creation, because Allah also likes aesthetics or beauty. The application of the concept of halal on tourism is always accompanied by the implementation of the concept of thayyib and does not cause damage, because the combination of the concepts of halal and thayyib in travel will result in tourism full of blessings
