Abstract

Development of control systems security lab space is a tool that can help secure laboratory space equipped with automatic electric locks and alarms. This security system uses a programming language Bascom Avr programming language more easily understood and to understand than other BASIC language. The results of these research activities is the control system security at the lab space in order to create a sense of security for faculty and students as he left the lab space, because the automatic lock is mounted on the main door and cabinet and is equipped with an alarm.

Abstract

PT. Thamrin Brothers Seluma is a company engaged in the automotive trade, especially two-wheeled vehicles, which is located in Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. The company needs an attendance system that can improve the weaknesses of the current attendance system. If the equipment damage and there is a power outage, as a result, attendance is made manually, while the attendance system is very necessary in monitoring employee attendance every day at the company. The method used is the Hinstogram of Oriented Gardens, which is a method that helps detect faces in designing Android-based face detection attendance application. It will make it easier for users to make attendance by way of face detection using an Android smartphone. Besides that, PT. Thamrin Brothers Seluma can more easily monitor the attendance of its employees. Based on system testing at PT. Thamrin Brothers Seluma can be concluded that the design of the Android-based face detection attendance application has met what was expected by PT. Thamrin Brothers Seluma well.

Abstract

So far, the performance appraisal process at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch has utilized the Excel office application to provide values and calculate the final results of the employee's performance appraisal. However, this is an obstacle for PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch, because it takes quite a lot of time to input employee data one by one in Microsoft Excel and provide performance values for each employee. In addition, there are frequent data input errors, which cause errors in giving the final value of employees and there is also an inaccurate rating for employees, which results in the final value obtained by each employee is not as it should be. The employee performance appraisal application was built to find out the results of the comparison between the SAW and WP methods through a sensitivity test approach in evaluating employee performance at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch. In addition, this application can be used as an alternative in knowing the results of employee performance appraisals based on the SAW and WP methods. Based on the results of the sensitivity test on the SAW and WP methods, it shows that the SAW method has a total change of 0%, the WP method is 0.000256%. Thus, it can be concluded that the WP method is considered relevant in solving problems in employee performance appraisal, because if a method has a high sensitivity value to changes in ranking, the method is increasingly chosen. Based on the black box testing that has been done, the results show that the functionality of the comparison application of the SAW and WP methods through a sensitivity test approach in evaluating employee performance at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Bengkulu Branch is running as expected and the application is able to display the results of the analysis of the SAW and WP methods and display the test results of the sensitivity test results.

Abstract

The Bengkulu Police Mobile Brigade Corps conducts a personality test every year for members which is used as a basis for determining the personality of members. However, so far the implementation is still done conventionally and not computer-based, so it takes quite a long time to get the personality test results for these members. The application of the Myers-Birggs Type Indicator Method to the member personality test application at the Bengkulu Regional Police Mobile Brigade Corps can make it easier for members to carry out personality tests and find out the results of each member's personality test more quickly and accurately. Based on the black box testing that has been done, the results show that the functionality of the member personality test application at the Bengkulu Regional Police Mobile Brigade Corps is running as expected and the application is able to display the personality test results for each member based on personality type from the Myers-Birggs Type Indicator Method

Abstract

To avoid crop failure, of course, insight and knowledge is needed about garlic plant diseases, where there are 7 diseases found in garlic, namely fusarium wilt, leaf tip death, powdery mildew, purple spot, tuber rot, leaf rust, and neck rot. . The limited knowledge of farmers has prompted the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation of the Province of Bengkulu to build a system that can assist in early diagnosing diseases in garlic cultivation. The system in question is an expert system. The application of an expert system for diagnosing garlic plant diseases at the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation of Bengkulu Province is used to make it easier for users to find out garlic plant diseases based on the symptoms that have been selected. In this application, the Naive Bayes method has been applied to represent, combine, and propagation of uncertainty, which has several intuitive characteristics according to the way of thinking of an expert. Of course, this will speed up the handling of garlic plants if the disease that attacks the plant is known earlier. The application of an expert system for diagnosing garlic plant diseases is made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server database. Based on the system testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the functionality of the application has been running well and this expert system can provide consultation results based on the symptoms selected through the stages of the Naive Bayes method.

Abstract

Security and confidentiality of data or information is an important aspect of data or information. The problem of security and confidentiality of computer data is something that is important in this information age, especially for the South Bengkulu Regency Education and Culture Office. Various ways were done to protect the data or information. Encryption is used to change the original text to unreadable text. Decryption is used to convert unreadable text to original text. Database security application for employee performance values ​​at the South Bengkulu Regency Education and Culture Office was made using the Visual Basic .Net Programming Language and SQL Server Database. In this application, one of the classic cryptographic algorithms has been implemented, namely the Vigenere Cipher Algorithm to secure the contents of the database record, so that what is stored in the database record has been randomized by the algorithm. Based on the encryption results generated by the Vigenere Cipher Algorithm, it is only able to randomize plaintext containing alphabets, and is unable to randomize plaintext containing numeric.

Abstract

The number of program activities at the Beringin Raya Health Center in Bengkulu City is sometimes not proportional to the number of doctors in the puskesmas, so not all patients can have health consultations, especially about gingivitis. Gingivitis is a disease caused by a bacterial infection which causes the gums to swell due to inflammation. Therefore we need an application that can help the process of diagnosing gingivitis based on the symptoms experienced by the patient, so that the initial diagnosis experienced by the patient can be known. The expert system for diagnosing gingivitis at the Beringin Raya Nursing Health Center in Bengkulu City was made using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, which can be accessed online via the https://sistempakargingivitis.my.id/ link. The expert system for diagnosing gingivitis in the treatment of Beringin Raya, Bengkulu City, has implemented the Naive Bayes Method to represent, combine, and propagate uncertainty, which has several intuitive characteristics according to the way of thinking of an expert. The training data used is 11 data which is used as the basis for the probability value of each symptom in the disease to carry out a consultation diagnosis. Based on the consultation with the selected symptoms, namely G1, G2, G3 and G4, the diagnosis of Nonvital Teeth disease (Dead Teeth) was obtained with a bayes value of 0.2045454541875. Based on the system testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the functionality of the application has been running well and this expert system can provide consulting results based on the symptoms selected by the user through the stages of the Naive Bayes method
