Abstract

To avoid crop failure, of course, insight and knowledge is needed about garlic plant diseases, where there are 7 diseases found in garlic, namely fusarium wilt, leaf tip death, powdery mildew, purple spot, tuber rot, leaf rust, and neck rot. . The limited knowledge of farmers has prompted the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation of the Province of Bengkulu to build a system that can assist in early diagnosing diseases in garlic cultivation. The system in question is an expert system. The application of an expert system for diagnosing garlic plant diseases at the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation of Bengkulu Province is used to make it easier for users to find out garlic plant diseases based on the symptoms that have been selected. In this application, the Naive Bayes method has been applied to represent, combine, and propagation of uncertainty, which has several intuitive characteristics according to the way of thinking of an expert. Of course, this will speed up the handling of garlic plants if the disease that attacks the plant is known earlier. The application of an expert system for diagnosing garlic plant diseases is made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server database. Based on the system testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the functionality of the application has been running well and this expert system can provide consultation results based on the symptoms selected through the stages of the Naive Bayes method.

Abstract

The importance of weather information in Indonesia is because weather is a variable that determines climatic conditions, one of which is rainfall. Due to the importance for the public to know about weather developments in Indonesia, BMKG must be precise and accurate in providing weather information by utilizing Weather Radar. This radar applied the K-Means Method. The Weather Early Warning application uses the Python programming language and the Weather Radar Library (WradLib) by utilizing one of the data mining methods, namely K-Means. The grouping results are based on file.vol data obtained from Weather Radar (data attached). From this file.vol will be processed in the Python program and will produce 2 groups, namely Cluster C1 Wide Area and Cluster C2 Medium - dense area. The results of this study indicate that the use of weather radar for weatherearlywarning in Bengkulu Province using the K-Means method produces several iterations. There is a slight difference between Iteration 1 and Iteration II, because the data file.vol from the weather radar contains thousands of data so that in 1 sub-district there can be 2 areas, namely Wide Areas and Medium - Dense Regions, but that does not affect the final result of this study, namely Warning Early Weather.

Abstract

In a school, the ranking of outstanding students is usually only selected based on their final grades, as well as at SMK 6 Kaur Regency. The selection of outstanding students at SMK 6 Kaur Regency is only based on report card grades. The selection process has many opportunities to make wrong decisions because the student selection process is only based on one aspect, namely the student's final grade, while the attitude and achievement scores obtained outside of school are not taken into consideration as additional criteria for determining students who are considered outstanding and get scholarships. This means that it is likely that the selected outstanding students do not reach the desired standards that do not obtain the best candidates. The purpose of this research is as an alternative way for schools to determine outstanding students so that they are not only based on academic grades, and there is no cheating in the selection of outstanding students. The method used in this research is the Vikor method (Višekriterijumsko Optimizacija I Kompromisno Rangiranje). The result of this research is that the Vikor method can provide the best results from the criteria and weights that have been determined. The results of this study show that the Vikor method can provide the best results from the criteria and weights that have been determined. From the calculation results with the Vikor method, a student named Alpikran was obtained with a preference value of 0.040.

Abstract

Search Engine is a system that can be used to automatically find relevant information to the needs of its users from a book collection. This system will receive input in the form of keywords for the information to be searched. In a relatively shorter time, it will provide relevant information for the keywords entered by the user. In the search system, one method is needed, one of which is VSM (Vector Space Modeling) method. VSM method was chosen because the way this model works is efficient, easy to represent, and can be implemented in library systems. The system implementation uses the Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this research is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This SDLC functions to describe the main stages and steps of each stage which are broadly divided into 3 (three) activities, namely analysis, design and implementation. By developing a library system using the VSM method, it is hoped that it will make it easier for officers to provide services and can help with work in the library through library automation functions, so that the library management process is more effective and efficient.
