Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio on Return on Equity in insurance sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2023 period. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The research sample was obtained from the annual financial reports of 15 insurance companies selected using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in 90 observations. The research results show that partially, the Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant positive effect on Return on Equity, while the Debt to Asset Ratio also has a significant effect on Return on Equity. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing show that the Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio have a significant positive influence on Return on Equity in insurance companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A high Debt to Equity Ratio can increase profits if managed well, even though it carries financial risks. on the other hand, a Debt to Asset Ratio that is too high can suppress Return on Equity, especially in unstable economic conditions. This research provides insight into managing capital structure optimally to maximize Return on Equity by considering the balance between Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio. Apart from that, the research results can help the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in formulating policies that support the financial stability of insurance companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and location on consumer purchasing interest at Alfamart minimarkets in Aceh Barat Regency. The population in this study consists of all consumers shopping at Alfamart Regency, Aceh Barat. The sample selection was conducted using purposive sampling, with a total sample size of 134 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that, partially, service quality has a significant effect on consumer purchasing interest at Alfamart minimarkets in Aceh Barat Regency. Additionally, location also has a significant effect on consumer purchasing interest at Alfamart minimarkets in Aceh Barat Regency. The hypothesis testing results show that, simultaneously, there is a significant influence between the service quality variable (X1) and the location variable (X2) on consumer purchasing interest (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Bureaucratic Leadership Style on Employee Performance Mediated by Decision-Making at the Regional Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMDPTSP) of Bungo Regency. A sample of 43 respondents from the PMDPTSP Office of Bungo Regency employees was selected using the Purposive Sampling technique. (Sampel bertujuan). Based on the data processing results using SEM-PLS, it was found that, directly, Bureaucratic Leadership Style has a significant effect on Employee Performance. Bureaucratic Leadership Style significantly affects Decision Making. Decision Making does not significantly affect the Performance of Employees at the Regional Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMDPTSP) of Bungo Regency. Indirectly, there is no significant effect of Bureaucratic Leadership Style on Employee Performance Satisfaction mediated by Decision Making at the Regional Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMDPTSP) of Bungo Regency.

Abstract

In the rapid development of social media, the role of influencers in marketing on social media is increasingly important in shaping consumer behavior, including purchasing intentions. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of influencer credibility and brand-influencer suitability on purchase intentions via Electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM) as a mediating variable in the context of marketing on social media, especially Instagram. This research uses a quantitative method using primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to 145 respondents who come from the Jabodetabek area and know about the skincare brand Somethinc and the beauty influencer, Tasya Faraysa, on the Instagram platform. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to evaluate the level of significance and relationship between various variables. The research results show that influencer credibility and brand-influencer fit have a positive influence on eWOM, which in turn influences consumer purchase intentions. The managerial implications of these findings emphasize the importance of considering brand-influencer credibility and suitability in marketing strategies on social media, as well as exploiting the potential of eWOM as a mediator to increase consumer purchase intentions. From the research results obtained, researchers suggest involving a wider sample and a variety of influencers and brands to generalize the findings, as well as deepen understanding of the influence mechanisms of influencers and eWOM on consumer purchase intentions.

Abstract

The fitness supplement industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth due to increasing public interest in healthy lifestyles. In this competitive market, the Evolene brand faces the challenge of maintaining customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the effect of price, product quality, and promotion on customer loyalty to the Evolene brand. The research uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who had purchased Evolene products. The results showed that the three variables price, product quality, and promotion had a significant effect on customer loyalty. Promotion has the greatest influence compared to other variables, followed by product quality and price. In addition, the validity and reliability of the measurement instruments have been tested using outer model analysis, which shows valid and reliable results. Limitations of the study include sampling limited to Evolene customers as well as external factors such as market trends that cannot be fully controlled. This study recommends companies to integrate competitive pricing strategies, maintain product quality, and optimize digital promotions to strengthen customer loyalty.

Abstract

This paper aims to understand "Container Handling and Arrangement" and to explore various aspects of Container Handling and Arrangement at PT. Terminal Peti Kemas (TPK) Pelindo Belawan in the context of modern logistics industry. It will discuss the latest methods and technologies used in container management, as well as their impact on operational efficiency and cost reduction. Container handling and arrangement are critical components in international trade, requiring careful planning and implementation. By investing in new equipment, implementing automation technologies, developing efficient logistics systems, and providing training and development programs, ports can improve efficiency and effectiveness in container handling and arrangement. The data used in this research are primary data obtained through field observations, direct interviews with company personnel, and secondary data collected from books, journals in libraries, and other reading sources related to the subject matter. One of the main challenges in container handling is managing limited storage space.

Abstract

The study aims to identify factors affecting the success of construction projects and develop effective mitigation strategies using the House of Risk (HOR) approach. The qualitative method used in the study is observation, observation, analysis, and discussion of team members. The Risk Assessment (Agen Risiko) is identified and directed on HOR-1, based on Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP), and HOR-2, focuses on the implementation of mitigation measures. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of the HOR approach in mitigating and reducing risks in construction projects, providing practical guidance to increase risk management and evaluating the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to design a new warehouse layout at Alfamart with a dedicated storage method to increase material storage capacity. The instrument cluster assembly process at Alfamart is very dependent on the smooth supply of materials. The increase in production capacity from 2,500 units/day to 3,000 units/day in 2021 causes a larger need for storage space. The main problem identified is the limitation of the material placement area in the old warehouse. In this study, an analysis was carried out on the types of goods placement policies and optimal facility layout. The research method used is a combination of literature study and data collection from the research site. The results of the analysis show that the new layout design can increase the storage capacity up to 30%, from 240 pallets to 312 pallets. The new layout not only improves the placement of goods, but also increases operational efficiency through wider lanes, clear zoning systems, and better lighting. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to warehouse management at Alfamart, ensuring that all materials can be stored and accessed in accordance with the established standards.

Abstract

The Indonesian iced tea drink business located on Jalan Karundang, Cipocok Jaya sub-district, Serang City, Banten, is one of the branches of Indonesian iced tea in Bogor. The aim of this research is to analyze operational management at the Serang branch of the Indonesian iced tea business by analyzing the operational management function. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Determining informants using purposive sampling. Data collection through semi-structured interviews. Test the validity of the data by source triangulation. The results of the discussion from this research show that the Serang branch of Indonesian iced tea MSMEs has implemented operational management well in accordance with the 3 operational management functions. Conclusion The Serang branch of the Indonesian tea company MSME has planned its operations thoroughly and in depth, including capacity, location, layout, methods and also the quality of raw materials.

Abstract

Accelerating the formation of cooperatives at the village and sub-district levels is a priority for the Indonesian government, as emphasized in Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025, which focuses on strengthening economic independence and equitable development across regions. In this context, the existence of a Management Information Sistem (MIS) plays a strategic role in increasing the efficiency and transparency of cooperative management, including through the use of the official digital platform, the Merah Putih website (https://merahputih.kop.id). This study was conducted using a literature review approach, including the selection of relevant academic articles and government policy documents, with the aim of examining the role of MIS in accelerating the formation and management of village cooperatives. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of MIS and the use of the Merah Putih website can significantly contribute to the effectiveness of administration, coordination among members, and accountability of cooperative financial reporting. However, there are still obstacles that require attention, particularly related to technological readiness, human resource skills, and access to digital infrastructure in rural areas. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for the development of a MIS that is adaptive to the needs of village cooperatives and sustainable policy support that encourages digitalization in the cooperative sector. Thus, this research not only provides an overview of the potential use of information technology in accelerating the strengthening of village cooperatives, but also offers an important contribution to the implementation of government policies in realizing inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.
