Abstract

Abstract Abstract This final project is entitled Designing a Rabab Pasisia Documentary Video as an Effort to Preserve Minangkabau Cultural Arts in audio-visual form. The data used in this design are verbal data, visual data and data obtained through observation, interview documentation and internet sources which are analyzed using the SWOT theory. Through this research method, the results achieved are to see the response of the community when listening to rabab. So we can see opportunities to preserve rabab as Minangkabau culture. The design process that produces the main media in the form of documentary videos as a tool to invite and preserve rabab pasisia as Minangkabau culture. The supporting media which are the main attraction in efforts to preserve rabab pasisia such as: stickers, posters, totebags, t-shirts, xbanners. Keyword : Rabab, Documentary Video, Music, Tradition

Abstract

ABSTRAK Poklashar Kato Saiyo merupakan sebuah kelompok nelayan tradisional yang berdiri di Nagari Pasia Pelangai, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatra Barat. Kelompok ini bergerak dalam bidang pengelolahan hasil perikanan menjadi berbagai olahan makanan, dengan produk unggulan berupa stik ikan. Didirikan pada tahun 2008 dan resmi memasarkan produknya pada tahun 2018, Poklashar Kato Saiyo telah menjadi salah satu UMKM yang sukses di pesisir selatan. Dalam hal ini akan membahas profil, produk unggulan, proses pembuatan, potensi lokal, dan dampak ekonomi dari kelompok ini. Dengan menggabungkan tradisi nelayan lokal dengan inovasi dalam pengolahan ikan, Poklashar Kato Saiyo membuktikan bahwa potensi perikanan lokal dapat dikembangkan menjadi usaha yang menguntungkan dan berdampak positif bagi perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Kata kunci: Video, Poklahsar Kato Saiyo ABTRACT Poklashar Kato Saiyo is a traditional fishing group founded in Nagari Pasia Pelangai, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra. This group is engaged in processing fishery products into various food preparations, with the superior product being fish sticks. Founded in 2008 and officially marketing its products in 2018, Poklashar Kato Saiyo has become one of the successful MSMEs on the south coast. In this case we will discuss the profile, superior products, manufacturing process, local potential and economic impact of this group. By combining local fishing traditions with innovation in fish processing, Poklashar Kato Saiyo proves that the potential of local fisheries can be developed into a profitable business and have a positive impact on the local community's economy.

Abstract

The Lukah Gilo dance is a dance that requires supernatural or magical powers. This dance uses lukah (bubu) as its main property. The term Lukah Gilo comes from two words, namely Luka (bubu), which is an oval-shaped fish or eel catching tool made from woven sticks or rattan, while Gilo is the Minang word for "crazy". The meaning of gilo in this dance is a lukah that can move everywhere and its movements are uncontrolled after the lukah is recited by a mantra by the kulipah.A method is a work system to facilitate the implementation of an activity to achieve a specified goal. The method used in this design is 5W+1H analysis. The design of this Lukah Gilo Dance documentary video will be 7 minutes 16 seconds long and will feature a dance from fish catchers (bubu), a supernatural dance, featuring speakers who will tell the history of the Lukah Gilo Dance, made based on factual stories from observations and interviews.

Abstract

Randang Jaguang Makranin is a culinary business originating from West Sumatra, more precisely in Jorong Tambun Ijuak, Nagari Koto Tangah Simalanggang, Kec. Payakumbuh, Kab. Fifty Cities, West Sumatra. Randang Jaguang Makranin is made from the main ingredient, namely corn mixed with shredded beef. Randang Jaguang Makranin is a new variant of randang and ready-to-eat food. Business owner Randang Jaguang Makranin said that the promotional media carried out by the company so far has not been fully effective, this is due to several types of printed promotional media such as x-banners, and the absence of promotional media that has a wide and attractive reach so that there are still many people who have not get to know this Randang Jaguang Makranin product. In accordance with current technological developments, the power of promotional media in the form of video cannot be denied, because video can offer the most interesting way for promotion. It is hoped that this audio visual concept can be used as a medium to provide visualization and convey the aims and objectives of promoting Randang Jaguang Makranin products through the pre-production, production and post-production stages.
