Abstract

Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) is direct assistance in the form of a certain amount of cash for households that really need it, namely households that are included in the very poor category. This program was launched by the government as social protection for the poor to reduce the negative impact of The policy of adjusting compensation to reduce fuel subsidies is to help poor people meet their basic needs. The objectives of this research are (1) to find out the implementation of the Direct Cash Assistance program policy in the Sidomulyo Village area, Batu District, Batu City. (2) to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors from the government of the village government in implementing the Direct Cash Assistance policy in Sidomulyo area, Batu District, Batu City. The type of research used by researchers is descriptive research with a qualitative research approach, the focus of the research is (1) Implementation of public policy (2) Direct Cash Assistance Program in Sidomulyo Village (3) Analysis of Van Meter and Van Horn so that the informants in this research are (1 ) Head of Sidomulyo Village, as general person in charge of the area. (2) Village Secretary as person in charge of administration (3) Head of the People's Welfare Section as person in charge of the Direct Cash Assistance Program in Sidomulyo Village.

Abstract

Social Media can help prospective new students to find the information needed as a consideration for choosing a major. This study aims to examine the effect of institutional social media preferences on the interest in registering prospective new students majoring in Communication Science, State University of Malang. This research is a quantitative approach that uses a survey method of 200 respondents in data collection. The research subjects were 12th grade high school students in East Java who wanted to continue to the university level as prospective new students majoring in Communication Science who were randomly selected by designing a questionnaire of questions related to social media preferences and interest in enrolling students in the Communication Science department through google form. In this study, researchers used the basic theory of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in determining 3 factors that influence the use of a system: Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Intention To Use. Based on the results of the analysis, Social Media Preference contributes to a significant influence on Register Interest by 41%, and the remaining 59% is explained by other variables, which means that Social Media has a partially significant effect on Register Interest.

Abstract

E-parking is a government program, namely electronic-based parking services. The use of this electronic parking device makes it easier for people to park their vehicles and pay parking fees using the e-parking system. Gajayana Stadium, Malang City, is one of the locations for implementing e-parking by the Malang City Transportation Department. The aim of this research is to find out how the management of e-parking services by the Malang City Transportation Department increases Regional Original Income (PAD). The type of research used is qualitative with a research focus on e-parking service management, namely by paying attention to the management functions of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. Snowball sampling is a way for researchers to determine research informants. The research results show that e-parking planning is based on Law No. 28 of 2009 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Retributions, Malang City Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2011 concerning Business Services Retributions, Malang City Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2009 concerning Parking Lot Management. The organization is in accordance with the provisions where there are officers according to their respective functions, the implementation of e-parking is running effectively with the increase in Malang City PAD in the parking sector, and supervision is also carried out regularly so as to maximize control in e-parking services.

Abstract

This research tries to uncover the issues surrounding the controversy over the application of standardization by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia to Islamic preachers or teachers in Indonesia. This controversy has been going on for a long time, so before it was implemented, there were several changes to the name of the program in order to avoid polemics in the community. The exchange of discourse between policy makers and policy recipients is interesting for further investigation. In Michel Foucault's concept the ongoing discourse (episteme) is referred to as a power relation; which involves two conflicting parties fighting for influence. Foucault also thinks that the use of a particular standardization project is a strategy to gain power. The question is whether it is true that what Foucault points out is also true in the teaching space of religion, where so far (historically there have been similar cases in the colonial period in the 19th century) the impression of religion is far from being a matter of politics or power. In order to get answers to these questions, the researchers used a research method similar to that developed by Foucault, namely Critical Discourse Analysis or better known as CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis). This method emphasizes correcting the discourse that develops in the community, especially regarding the standardization program for religious teachers (da'i or ustad). This method also develops a way of researching by looking at the news in the mass media, where the news produces certain knowledge that is considered new. Therefore, the researcher collect data in three ways; field observations, in-depth interviews and documentation. According to the researcher, these three methods have been able to represent the same way that was done by Michel Foucault. he findings produced by the researchers are to find three factors that influence the dynamics of the pattern of power relations. Namely transparency, communication, and politicization.
