Abstract

The discovery of blockchain technology is considered capable of increasing data and transaction security. Everything recorded cannot be altered or changed retrospectively, making blockchain secure. Blockchain technology and artificial intelligence can be applied to various aspects, but this research review focuses on blockchain technology and artificial intelligence for e-commerce. E-commerce is buying or selling goods or services via a computer network. Currently, e-commerce has developed so rapidly that it has diverse business models and a variety of goods and services offered. E-commerce makes it easy to carry out transactions, but apart from all this, there are security problems in e-commerce transactions. This research aims to help future research by reviewing, organizing, analyzing, and synthesizing the application of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence to e-commerce. The method used in this research adopted the Kitchenham literature review method, which consists of three stages: planning, implementing, and reporting the review. The collection of articles is distilled into relevant articles about developments in blockchain technology and artificial intelligence for e-commerce. The results of this research are in the form of a summary of predictions that the use of blockchain in e-commerce will increase secure data related to transactions and feedback in e-commerce.

Abstract

This paper explores the implementation of Information Technology (IT) governance in the data management process using the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) framework version 4.1 at the IT Center of Pamulang University.  The study begins by providing an overview of the COBIT framework and its relevance to IT governance in educational settings. It then delves into the specific application of COBIT V 4.1 in the context of data management processes at Pamulang University IT Center. This includes the identification of key control objectives and control practices within the COBIT framework that are applicable to data management, such as data governance, data quality management, data security, and data lifecycle management. Furthermore, the paper discusses the methodology used for implementing COBIT V 4.1 in the data management process, including the steps involved in assessing current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and designing governance structures and processes. It highlights the importance of collaboration between IT professionals, data stewards, and organizational leadership in ensuring the successful implementation of IT governance practices. The findings of the study reveal the benefits of adopting COBIT V 4.1 in the data management process at Pamulang University IT Center, including improved data quality, enhanced data security, and increased accountability and transparency in data handling practices.

Abstract

This study explores the application of the ISO 38500, Risk IT, and Val IT frameworks in improving IT governance at the university. ISO 38500 provides general guidance for IT management by boards of directors, while Risk IT focuses on IT risk management and Val IT focuses on managing the value of IT investments. Qualitative research methods were used, including interviews with key stakeholders at Pamulang University. The research results show that the integration of the ISO 38500, Risk IT, and Val IT frameworks has helped universities optimize strategic decision-making regarding IT. Implementation of this framework increases transparency, accountability and holistic IT risk management across the university. However, challenges faced include a lack of deep understanding of the framework and the need to ensure consistency in implementation. Recommendations for the university include more intensive training for staff, strengthening communication between different units, and developing performance metrics that align with the university's strategic goals. This research makes an important contribution to the practical understanding of implementing effective IT governance in higher education environments, by highlighting the benefits and challenges of integrating the ISO 38500, Risk IT, and Val IT frameworks.

Abstract

This research aims to design a dynamic system model for the downstream copper processing industry. The secondary data obtained is data provided by the BKPM Strategic Investment Downstreaming Expert Team. Vensim software is used to simulate downstream development in the form of CLD and SFD from 2024 to 2045. The results of the value-added simulation resulted in an increase in the added value of copper cathode by 2.15 times, the added value of cathode slab by 1.62 times, the added value of copper billet by 1.65 times, the added value of copper bar &rods by 1.08 times, the added value of copper tube by 1.02 times, the added value of copper strip by 1.39 times, and the added value of copper wire by 1.58 times. After a sensitivity analysis of the selling price at CAGR and an increase in energy costs by 20%, there was a change in the average value-added margin, so that the increase in added value changed which resulted in an added value of copper cathode of 1.9 times, added value of cathode slab of 1.47 times, added value of copper billet of 1.49 times, added value of copper bar &rods of 1.26 times, added value of copper tube of 0.93 times, added value of copper strip of 0.98 times, and added value of copper wire of 1.44 times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design a web-based teacher attendance monitoring application at SMK Ibnu Sina Batam. We expect this application to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of teacher attendance management through the use of digital technology. The research methods used include literature studies, interviews, and direct observation of the teacher attendance management process. We design the system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), implement it using the CodeIgniter framework, and use MySQL as its database. We conduct testing using the Black Box method to verify that all functions operate as anticipated. The results show that this application can monitor teacher attendance in real-time and improve discipline. By cutting down on manual checks and enhancing transparency and accountability in school management, the implementation of this application significantly enhances the quality of education at SMK Ibnu Sina Batam.

Abstract

Stroke are known as the second most leading cause of death. Because of this, data mining techniques are already being used to predict patients that may have stroke. Therefore, we are doing a study to try using data mining techniques using RapidMiner to find information or patterns regarding stroke from a dataset obtained from Kaggle. Three data mining techniques are used in this study, that is classification using decision trees, association rule using FP-Growth algorithm, and clustering technique using k-Means algorithm. Using RapidMiner, we are able to process the dataset using the operators provided in the application. As the result, we found out that due to an unbalanced data, the decision tree model made were only able to predict 68,75% patients as having stroke. With the association rule technique, we found out that most attributes in the dataset does not really associated with each other. With the clustering technique, we were able to group up patients and found out that most patients that have stroke are averaged in the age of 58, with 31 bmi, and 201 average glucose level.
