Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the perceived quality competition globally is manufacturing. Manufacture industry competition makes companies must concentrate on product quality. and the quality of the factors affecting the product is wrong, such as human resources, tools / machines, and the environment can also cause product quality. And one of the companies engaged in the manufacturing industry, namely PT. APT has a problem with the quality measurement of the dimensions of size on one of the products made, where the product can’t be accepted by the customer and declared reject on all the number of products sent. There are indications of QC checking errors within the company so that reject products are accepted as acceptable. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the main causes of goods declared acceptable internally within the company and when it arrives at the customer is declared reject. And find solutions to how such mistakes do not happen again. To solve this problem, this study uses the MSA (Measurement System Analysis Gage R&R) method which has the advantage of knowing the cause of quality problems in detail whether from the people, tools, or supporting factors in a measurement. So that mistakes that occur before do not happen again and the company can run more effectively, efficiently and consistently in measuring and checking.

Abstract

Sat Nusapersada is one of the companies in the city of Batam. The company has six canteens as food providers to support and meet the needs of its employees. These six canteens still use the conventional process, where employees have to come directly to order food. Long queues cause canteen managers to make mistakes in the food ordering process. This is a problem for the canteen manager. With the availability of information and communication technology, it can be used to develop a canteen business management business. So we need a system that can order food online so that it can make it easier for customers to order food at the canteen of PT. Sat Nusapersada. From the business management information system at the canteen of PT. Sat Nusapersada website-based using the SDLC waterfall method which aims to assist employees in ordering food is one of the goals in making this system. So that this system is expected to make it easier for customers to place orders, and can improve canteen management services for customers who will place orders. This information system uses PHP and CSS as source code and MySQL as database connection.

Abstract

Selama ini terdapat kendala dalam proses pengelolaan informasi pengukuran targetPKB di BP2RD Kepri. Banyaknya informasi yang terkandung dalam pengukuran target PKB menyulitkan jajaran pimpinan dan pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan untuk melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi target PKB. Bentuk pelaporan yang menggunakan sistem tabular juga menyebabkan kesulitan untuk melakukan evaluasi target PKB. Adanya aplikasi DashboardInformasi Target Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor dan terlaksananya DashboardInformasi Target Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor pada Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam Perancangan DashboardInformasi Target Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor Pada Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau adalah metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Sistem Informasi Badan Pengelolaan Pajak Dan Retribusi Daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, penulis berharap sudah diterapkan pada perusahan-perusahaan lainnya yang dibidangnya sama, dikarenakan dapat memudahkan dalam soal pelayanan yang sudah berbasis online.

Abstract

Inventory simulation is not only an estimate of inventory but is an opportunity to adjust the actual and potential demand with the necessary marketing efforts, so that a benefit can be obtained from it, if the amount of inventory is too small (out of stock) and demand cannot If this is met, then this can lead to disappointment with customers and result in a loss of trust from customers. Meanwhile, if the amount of inventory is too much (over stock) it can also cause problems such as increased storage costs. An alternative solution to this problem is to use a Monte Carlo simulation which can measure or predict how much fertilizer should be provided, this simulation predicts sales in August and September so that The company can measure the amount of inventory in the month, with the first step determining the important variable, second Creating a cumulative probability distribution for each variable, third Assigning a random number interval for each variable, Generating random numbers with LCM (Linear Congruent Method), generating a series of experiments, simulations This study uses Ms. Excel in manual calculations and uses the Java programming language in the application of the system, it is concluded that the simulation results are close to the real state so that it is very suitable for forecasting fertilizer inventories at PT. Tazar Guna Mandir.

Abstract

The design of this promotional video advertisement was made to introduce the company's products to potential buyers, find information about clothing products and typical Batam souvenirs, and can be a means of company promotion. The design is targeted to increase the buying interest of potential consumers. The design of a promotional video ad is based on a case study at Graha T-Obenk Premium Kaos Batam which is a 3 (three) month process. The object of the activities carried out is in the form of direct observations in the field to see the circumstances and situations that occur, how the marketing process has been done to consumers so far. From the conditions that occur in the field, we can see the lack of interest from potential consumers to offers in the form of catalogs in the form of brochures and books. The conclusions and suggestions in this promotional video advertisement are to increase the attractiveness of potential consumers in finding information about Batam souvenir products and also to increase company promotions.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an archival information system at CV. Inti Jembar Sukses which can be used to manage transaction records and provide technological insights to leaders and staff who previously did not use information system technology with the system design stages using the waterfall method with five stages, namely needs analysis, system interface design. While the modeling used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Archive information system on CV. The core of jember success. The results of this study resulted in analysis, system interface design with UML modeling to create a system that can be used as an archive data manager and smooth access to company information that has resulted in the design that has been made. Abstract

Currently, XYZ Gas Stations, in carrying out fuel sales activities, have not yet used a simulation of calculating fuel supply needs at gas stations which functions to support decision making by the leadership, this causes frequent stock shortages at each XYZ gas station branch. because of that the authors are interested in creating a modeling system for calculating fuel inventory simulations using the Monte Carlo method and the LCM pattern. The purpose of this research is to produce a simulated calculation of the supply of purchased fuel so that management knows how much stock of fuel must be provided at each gas station and also to prevent empty fuel stocks at each gas station in the XYZ branch. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observations, and literature studies. The system is designed using the JAVA Programming Language. The data processed in this study is transaction activity data for January and February 2022 to determine the amount of inventory that must be provided in March 2022. The final results of the data processing that has been carried out with the trial purchase data transactions for the two current months, namely January and February 2022 to get the simulation results of fuel oil (BBM) supplies in March whose activation has been running with simulation predictions using the Monte Carlo Algorithm.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of using multimedia in learning on improving students' learning outcomes. The research used a literature review method by examining various related studies that have been conducted. The analysis results showed that the use of multimedia can increase motivation, interest, and learning outcomes of students in learning. However, the effectiveness of multimedia use in learning depends on various factors such as multimedia design and content, teaching methods, student characteristics, and available learning environments. Therefore, the use of multimedia in learning requires a holistic and integrated approach. Continuous research and development are needed to improve multimedia design and use as well as to consider the influencing factors.

Abstract

Motion graphic Program Publikasi sebagai media promosi Batam TV dibuat dengan menggunakan kombinasi software Adobe After Effect dan Adobe Illustrator. Tujuan dibuatnya motion graphic sebagai media promosi tersebut agar promosi Program Publikasi Batam TV tidak lagi hanya ditujukan langsung secara kepada client yang diinginkan, baik menggunakan surat maupun secara face to face melainkan dapat disebarkan dan diakses secara online melalui media sosial sehingga dapat menjangkau secara luas. Perancangan desain motion graphic Program Publikasi Batam TV sebagai media promosi ini menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) berdasarkan 6 (enam) tahapan yang terdiri dari concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Analisis pengujian yang digunakan adalah skala likert yang memiliki 5 skala penilaian. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 108 responden. Dari data kuesioner yang telah disebarkan dan telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya, diperoleh persentase masing-masing aspek pembuatan motion graphic tersebut yaitu pada aspek spatial 87.84%, aspek temporal 86.54%, aspek live action 88.95% dan aspek typography 88.89%. Secara keseluruhan aspek-aspek tersebut memperoleh angka sebesar 88.07% dengan kategori sangat efektif.

Abstract

The iris is a part of the human anatomy that can be used as a biometric identifier. Data obtained from the iris can be converted into information through iris image processing, and in order to obtain accurate iris pixel results, an edge detection operator is required that can provide detailed and good image quality effects. In this research, a comparative analysis of the Canny, Sobel, Prewitt and Roberts edge detection operators was carried out on iris images. The purpose of performing a comparative analysis of edge detection methods is to compare the detection results of each edge detection operator on iris recognition detected by each operator. The results of the comparison of edge detection methods using precision tables can be analyzed to show that the Canny edge detection operator provides better, smoother and sharper edge results in actual edge point detection, namely 0.357867, while Sobel =, 0.210212, Prewitt = 0.212452 and Roberts = 0.279196. From these results it can be concluded that the edge detection results provided by Sobel and Prewitt are less sharp and sensitive to noise, and the comparison results can vary depending on the intensity of the image and the image object being compared.
