Abstract

HIV / AIDS infection in mothers can cause transmission to children, especially through childbirth. Efforts to overcome to prevent transmission between mothers to babies born through prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV / AIDS (PMTCT) programs. The purpose of this study is the influence of attitudes, perceptions of control, subjective norms and husband's support for the behavior of Pregnant Women doing Prevention Of Mother Child Child Transmission Of HIV / Aids (PMTCT) in Balowerti public health center kediriThe research design used in the study was observational. The population studied was all pregnant women at the Balowerti Health Center in Kediri City, with a simple random sampling technique, a sample of 96 respondents was obtained. The independent variables studied were attitudes, perceptions of control, subjective norms and husband support, with the dependent variable pregnant women doing (PMTCT).Data analysis using the Logistic Regression test at α = 0.05 Based on the results of the Logistic Regression test showed that the attitude variable p value 0.024, perception p value 0.001, subjective norm p value 0.649 and husband support p value 0.000. So pregnant women do PMTCT are significantly influenced by attitude, perceived control, subjective norms and husband's supportPregnant women do PMTCT together influenced by attitudes, perceptions of control, subjective norms and husband support and can be influenced by other factors. A very influential factor in pregnant women to do PMTCT is positive perception of control. Because with a high positive perception, it greatly influences the motivation of pregnant women to do PMTCT to be high

Abstract

Work fatigue and musculoskeletal disorder lead to work accidents, and decreased work productivity. Additional food, short breaks and stretching exercises can reduce work fatigue and musculoskeletal disorder. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of additional food along with stretching and short resting exercises on work fatigue and musculosksletal disorder at PT. Rekaindo Global Jasa Production Section. This research method uses True Experiment with Non Equivalent pretest posttest Control Group Design. The sample was 52 production section workers. The Nordic Body Map questionnaire was used to measure musculoskeletal disorder and the Subjective Selft Rating Test Questionnaire was used to measure work fatigue. Data were tested by t-paired test and ANOVA test with significance level α = 0.005. The results of work fatigue research in treatment group 1 showed p value = 0.002 and treatment group 2 p value = 0.003, which means there were differences in work fatigue before and after treatment. The results of the musculoskeletal disorder treatment group 1 showed p value 0,000 and treatment group 2 p value = 0,000 which means there were differences in musculoskeletal disorder before and after treatment. The research results of work fatigue between groups showed p value = 0.012 which means there was a difference in work fatigue between the control and treatment groups. While the study of musculoskeletal disorder between groups p value = 0.001 which means there are differences in musculoskeletal disorder between the control and treatment groups. Analysis of the results of the study showed supplementation, short breaks and stretching exercises could reduce work fatigue and musculoskeletal disorder. Therefore supplementation with supplementary stretching and short breaks in the production workers of PT. Rekaindo Global Jasa need to be provided to reduce work fatigue and musculoskeletal disorder of production workers in PT. Rekaindo Global Jasa

Abstract

Child’s developmental delay may related with many factors, one of them is nutritional status, mother’s knowledge about child development, stimulation given by their parents and parenting style. Earlu detection of developmental delay in children aged 102 years old can be done with KPSP. The purpose of this study is to analyze which factors related to children 1-2 years old developmental delay in Bululawang Subdistrict, Malang. Method: The design study was a quantitative research using “cross sectional” approach. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with a sample of 157 respondents. Data was analyzed with logistic regression, significancy (α = 0.05. Results: stimulation (p-value = 0,036) and parental knowledge (p-value = 0,000) are affecting developmental delay 0f 1-2 years old child in Bululawang Subdistrict, Malang, meanwhile nutritional status (p-value = 0,449) is not influencing developmental delay. There is a simoultaneous affect of nutritional status, stimulation, and parental knowledge to developmental delay of 1-2 years old child in Bululawang, Malang (p-value=0,000). Parental knowledge (OR=116,785) is dominant factor that affecting developmental delays followed by stimulation (OR=3,705) and nutritional status (OR=0,676). Conclusion: nutritional status is not related to developmental delay in child aged 1-2 years old, then, stimulation and parental knowledge are related to developmental delay in child aged 1-2 years old in Bululawang Subdistrict, Malang. Abstract

Low birth weight (LBW) is a major cause of death in children under the age of 5 years. East Java has a prevalence of LBW higher than the national prevalence so reduce the prevalence of LBW is needed. The assistance of midwives to increasing maternal independence in treating LBW has the potential for reduce the mortality of LBW. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of midwives assistance on mothers' knowledge, motivation, and attitude to care for LBW independently in the Singosari public health center in Malang Regency, East Java. This study uses a quasi experimental control-group pretest-posttest research design and is taken using purposive sampling. Samples were mothers of LBW in the Singosari Regional Health Center in Malang Regency totaling 30 people. The sample was divided into two groups, each consisting of 15 mothers. In the intervention group, 4 visits were given assistance.The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the midwife assistance to the control group on the knowledge, motivation and attitudes of mothers in caring for LBW by value with p = 0.000, p=0.000 and p = 0.023 from the sig t independent.The midwives assistance increase the knowledge,motivation and attitudes of mother’s skill in terms of maintaining temperature, kangaroo methods, giving breast milk, preventing infection, and caring for the umbilical cord. Midwife assistance can be an alternative treatment for health workers to prepare mothers to care for LBW independently

Abstract

Accreditation PHC aims to improve the quality of services at the first level of health facilities especially PHC, but in reality Public health center has not been able to implement all the components expected, this is caused by several factors; Lack of understanding of Accreditation Instrument standards, lack of Human Resources and inadequate infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to explore or describe the Accreditation Readiness of the Work Group Individual Health Efforts Karamat Public Health Center in Facing accreditation. The design of this study is qualitative with a Case Study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 9 informants. Triangulation was conducted on 3 source. Data collection techniques carried out by interview and triangulation of sources. Data Sources In this study are the Accreditation and Triangulation Sources Team. Data acquisition techniques: in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the study showing that in general the Karamat Public Health Center in its efforts to prepare accreditation documents was guide book by the accreditation of the First Level Health Facilities and district level the Accreditation advisor Team.The findings found that the Karamat Public Health Center do not have dentists, laboratory analysts and staff who have dual duties and do not yet have a system of treating hazardous waste materials, medical waste or non-medical waste and the need for equipment in each room that is inadequate. From the completeness of documents by using the completeness check list. from 81 documents; 23 documents have been fulfilled, 29 documents have been fulfilled and 29 documents have not been fulfilled. an average of 20.8% is included in the partially met category. And according to the accreditation manual, the Karamat Public Health Center in particular the Individual Health Efforts Work Group is Worth for in Value. The efforts of the Karamat Public Health Center Accreditation Team in the efforts to fulfill the accreditation documents in addition to the mentoring method also make several of efforts including Training, Implementation of self-assessment, Discussion of the results of Self-assessment, Worksop and comparative study to Public Health Center which has been accredited outside the Central Selebes region

Abstract

Health problems cannot be solved by health officials alone. The scout movement with millions of members throughout Indonesia clearly has a very important role in this. Scout members as millennial youth can be important agents of change, both for fellow youths, for parents and their families as well as for society as a whole. The members of the Ventura Scouts (16-20 years) andRover Scouts (20-25 years) in Indonesia number around 3.6 million (16% of 23 million). The study aims to observe the participation of the Ventura Scout and Rover Scouts who carry out various activities in the public health in the Jabodetabek area and which media cover/report on these Scouting activities. The research is qualitative in nature by observing news of Scout involvement in the public health activities in electronic mass media, print media and online media from January to June 2020. To complete the information, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews with several connected coaches and scouts. The analysis is carried out simply by comparing which media do the most news coverage/broadcasting about scout activities in the publicc health activities, and what motivations make scouts involved in public health activities. The research results showed that the of Ventura Scoutand Pandega Scouts were heavily involved in the public health activities, especially during the Covid19 pandemic, among others, distributing masks, becoming counselors, becoming role models. It turned out that online media was mostly followed by print and electronic media which covered and reported on the Ventura Scout and Rover Scout activities. This is also because the Ventura Scoutand Pandega Scouts are contributors to online media news, moreover Scouts have the tagline "Every Scout is a reporter". Meanwhile, the print and electronic media reported little about Scouting activities because they were more interesting in reporting on other youth groups. While the motivation of the Ventura Scoutsand Rover Scouts to be involved in public health activities because in accordance with Tri Satya and Dasa Darma Pramuka, among others, are helping others in life, participating in building the nation, loving nature and affection for fellow humans and being willing to help, and being responsible as citizens. The conclusion is that Scout involvement in the public health activities is quite often carried out in the Jabodetabek area in accordance with existing health problems in the local location. Scouts have been motivated to carry out humanitarian activities because of the pledge and promises contained in Tri Satya and Darma Pramuka. Online media reported the most on Scouting activities because the tagline "Every Scout is a reporter", while print media and electronic media reported the least on Scouting activities. The recommendation put forward is that every Scout carrying out activities in the health sector must be equipped with PPE (personal protective equipment), and the Scout Movement must continue to collaborate on an ongoing basis with the mass media, both printed, electronic and online.

Abstract

Thought stopping is a therapy that can help stop disruptive thoughts from changing the thought process. This study aims to determaine the influence of thought stopping therapy on anxiety in the elderly facing the Covid 19 Pandemic in Elderly home . This study used quasi eksperimental design with pre- post test with control group. Responden were 70 people that devided into two group. They were 35 as intervention group that received thought stopping and 35 as control group that received nursing therapy of anxiety. Result showed anxiety in the intervention group decreased from moderate anxiety to mild anxiety and control group decreased still in the moderate anxiety. Thought stopping decreased physiologic, cognitive, behaviour and emotional responses of anxiety significantly (p value <0,05). thought stopping therapy was recommended as therapy to solve the anxiety at home elderly and community.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 19 or what we know as Covid-19 is a disease caused by coronavirus that can cause respiratory infections with mild to severe symptoms. Covid-19 disease can be prevented by the community if the community implements covid prevention measures such as using masks, diligently washing hands and keeping a distance. Preliminary preliminary survey note that the majority of respondents have not implemented the co-19 prevention behavior properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors that influence co-19 prevention behavior in Bandar Lampung. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive analytic cross sectional design. The population and research sample using cluster sampling namely using 10 regions included in the Bandar Lampung area of ​​100 respondents. The research instrument used questionnaire sheets that had been tested for validity. Data analysis using chi square test. The results obtained data that there is a relationship between age (p-value 0.017), there is no gender relationship (p-value 0.878), there is a relationship between the level of education (p-value 0.000), there is a relationship of knowledge about covid-19 (p-value 0.029) with covid-19 disease prevention behavior in Bandar Lampung. The conclusion is that factors related to co-19 disease prevention behavior are age, education level, and knowledge of co-19. Suggestions should provide information about co-19 and the importance of co-19 prevention behavior continue to be given to the public. Keywords: Predisposing Factors, Behavioral Prevention, Covid-19

Abstract

Breast cancer is a malignant tumor which developed in breast cells. According to WHO, an effective method to improve earlier breast cancer detection is by self-breast examination and this is proven to reduce breast cancer mortality rate since 1990. The objective of this research was to find out the influence of peer education on SADARI (self-breast examination) behaviour in preventing breast cancer for woman of childbearing age in South Lampung, Indonesia. This was a quantitative study by using pre-experimental approach and one group pretest and posttest design. The samples were 32 respondents who were taken by using random sampling. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed by using statistic test with t-dependent test (paired t-test). The result shows that there is an influence of peer education on SADARI behaviour in preventing breast cancer for woman of childbearing age in South Lampung, Indonesia with p-value 0.000. SADARI behavior can be done to women as a self-examination, especially women of childbearing age to prevent breast cancer.

Abstract

Background: Spatial memory is working memory that is used to recall when performing certain tasks which is a combination of attention, concentration, and short-term memory. Breadfruit leaves contain compounds flavonoids, tannins, saponins that are as antioxidants that can prevent cognitive disease. Purpose: This study was to determine the effect of breadfruit leaf extract on spatial memory in 10% alcohol-induced mice using the Y-Maze Methods: Method: This study used 25 mice which were divided into 5 groups, namely the Biloba Gingko positive group, the Na-CMC Negative Group and the treatment group consisted of doses of 1 10, 15, 20 mg / 20 grams BB of Mice. Every 10% alcohol-induced mice was then tested by inducing preparations according to the treatment group. The results of the time calculation on Y maze are statistically analyzed with one-way ANOVA Results: From the results of the y maze test it is known that gingko biloba gives the best effect then the treatment group with a dose of 20 mg, the group 15 mg and 10 mg, and the negative group giving Na -CMC. Conclusion: The results of this study concluded that the breadfruit leaf extract (Artocarpus altilis P) can improve the spatial memory of alcohol-induced mice 10%.
