Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of information services through animated film media on the mental health of class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai, Langkat Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research uses quantitative experimental methods, namely one group pretest and posttest design. The subject of this research was class XI IIS 2 with a sample size of 33 students determined using purposive sampling. This research uses a questionnaire instrument as a measuring tool and uses validity tests, reliability tests, and paired T tests. Based on the results of research conducted: 1) there are differences in students' mental health before being given information services through film media with the pretest score results showing that students' mental health is in the low category. 2) there are differences in students' mental health after being given information services through film media with the pretest score results showing that students' mental health has a high category score. 3) there is an effect of increasing information services through film media using the paired T test with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the difference in the average pretest value and the difference in the average pretest value of 89.6667 > from the average posttest value of 125.5758 which shows that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of information services through film media on the mental health of Class XI IIS students at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai Langkat Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the efforts of guidance and counselling teachers in reducing students' anxiety level through individual counselling at MAN 1 Deli Serdang. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were guidance and counselling teachers, mathematics teachers and students who received individual counselling on learning anxiety. The data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis carried out is data reduction, data presentation and data verification or conclusions.The results of the research showed that students in class XI MIPA-1 MAN 1 Deli Serdang experienced both internal and external learning anxiety. In general, the anxiety experienced by students is not understanding the lesson well, high curriculum objectives, subject teacher explanations that use the lecture method, causing students to feel sleepy in class, and uncomfortable classes so that students find it difficult to concentrate while learning. Taking place.Therefore, the efforts of guidance and counselling teachers are to carry out individual counselling as the main service in implementing the function of solving students' problems by optimising guidance and counselling services as the core strength in schools in order to reduce students' anxiety. Counselling guidance teachers provide individual counselling to students who experience anxiety by giving advice, suggestions and new insights, so that students can think about the good and bad effects of this anxiety, and students become more independent individuals to reduce their anxiety.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the contribution of group guidance services to increasing self-efficacy in class X MAN 1 Medan students for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type by looking at changes in research data between before and after treatment. The population in this study was 384 class X students, then the sampling technique used purposive random sampling so that the sample was 8 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale model. The results of the instrument validity test produced 29 valid items and the reliability was 0.905. Research data was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation.The research findings show that with the correlation obtained from the SPSS output model summary 26.00, the results of the hypothesis test using the Product Moment Correlation test show an output of r = 0.989 with an Asymp.Sig value. = 0.000 (2-tailed) is smaller than < 0.005, then Ha is accepted. Here there is a positive correlation coefficient, which means that 10 students experienced an increase in student self-efficacy scores from the Pre Test score to the Post Test score. The difference in increase in Mean Rank or average increase is 30.00, the correlation coefficient is 0.989 with an influence level of 98.9% and the rest is influenced by other variables. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of Group Tutoring Services can have an influence on increasing the self-efficacy of class X students at MAN 1 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Improving students' decision-making skills using a qualitative approach with the library research method which is carried out using literature in the form of books, notes or other literature as the main object. The purpose of making this journal is to provide assistance to students using individual counseling services to be brave in making decisions for themselves. Decision making skills are the ability to control oneself so as not to be easily influenced by social stimuli. Many students do not dare to make decisions for themselves due to internal and external factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 9 Medan. The purpose of this research is to describe the differences in scores in character development through the experimental group Pancasila student profile program before and after being given information service treatment using the Project Base Learning method. Meanwhile, the control group was given treatment before and after being treated with information services without the project based learning method. This research is quantitative research with an experimental research type. The object of this research was class VIII students at SMP Negeri 9 Medan. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire for students with a Pancasila student profile. The results of this research show that students who have a low Pancasila student profile have bad character and are difficult to be accepted by society. The analysis test results used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the Kolmogorov Smirnov Two Independent Samples analysis test. Thus, based on the results of research conducted, among others: (1) there are significant differences in character development through the Pancasila student profile program for students in the experimental group before (pretest) and after (posttest) with information services using the Project Base Learning method. (2) there is a significant difference in character development through the Pancasila student profile program for students in the control group before (pretest) and after (posttest) with information services. (3) there is a significant difference in character development through the Pancasila student profile program for students in the experimental group and the control group who were given treatment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Information Services to Increase the Emotional Intelligence of Class X Students at SMK Tamansiswa Medan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year." This type of research uses quantitative experimental methods, namely one group pretest and posttest design. The subject of this research is class n-k = 23-1= 22 then from the t table we get t = 2.074. Thus tcount>ttable on emotional intelligence is 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. "It can be concluded that there is an influence of Information Services to Increase the Emotional Intelligence of Class X Students at SMK Tamansiswa Medan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the mind mapping learning model through group guidance services through modeling techniques to increase the creativity of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The objects of this research were 8 students of VIII-2 SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan who had low creativity. Service implementation is carried out in one group guidance service cycle. The research design in this study is planning, action, observation and reflection. To obtain data and information in this research, observations and interviews were carried out. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been described, it can be understood that the application of the mind mapping learning model through guidance services implemented in class VIII-2 of SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year can increase student creativity.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze how description of the performance of guidance and counseling teachers according to student perceptions at SMPN 19 Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. This research uses an approach The research is descriptive qualitative. Number of sample members in this study namely, as many as 10 grade 8 students from SMP Negeri 19 Medan. Data collection can be done directly by the research subjects with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions while techniques validity of using data triangulation. Based on research conducted by researchers, it is known that teacher performance counseling guidance according to students' perceptions at SMP Negeri 19 Medan, namely BK teachers in providing services are very helpful in overcoming student problems, the student can ask for help from the guidance and counseling teacher in overcome the problems experienced by these students. Then the guidance and counseling teacher in its performance it provides real implementation in everyday life. The results of this research show that the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in junior high schools Negeri 19 Medan has been said to be quite good at being responsible carry out their duties, their performance becomes a role model, deeply creative providing services, implementing attractive services, and their performance optimally so that student problems can be resolved well through guidance the counseling.

Abstract

A counseling guidance teacher is a teacher whose job is to provide scientific and professional psychological and humanitarian assistance so that a counseling guidance teacher must try to create good communication with students in facing life's problems and challenges. The role of the guidance and counseling teacher is very influential in achieving independence and developing the character of students as well as developing the potential possessed by students. This research aims to find out whether there is a significant difference between the role of guidance and counseling in child-friendly schools for students at SMP Negeri 38 Medan and SMP Sinar Husni Medan.This research uses a quantitative approach with comparative descriptive methods. The research population was students from SMP Negeri 38 Medan and SMP Sinar Husni Medan. The sampling technique is purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is the rating scale model. The first and second research objectives were analyzed using percentage techniques. Next, the third objective was analyzed using the t test.The findings of this research: (1) according to the student's perspective on the role of guidance and counseling at SMP Negeri 38 Medan, students on average are in the very high category, (2) according to the student's perspective on the role of guidance and counseling at SMP Sinar Husni Medan, students on average is in the medium category, and (3) There is a significant difference between students' perspectives on the role of guidance and counseling in friendly schools and conventional schools.
