Abstract

The Jayabaya prophecy is one of the historical relics in Indonesia. Is a book that contains prophecies about the island of Java written in 1743 where the predictions in this book are quite confusing because they have predictions that can be said to be accurate with events in the future of this country of Indonesia. The design of this concept art aims to produce a concept picture of the game that is inspired by the contents of this Jayabaya Prophecy. Concept art book as a media presentation for the audience to provide the initial process of game development from the concept of characters, environments and assets to be used. With this concept art book, the author hopes that readers can get to know the characters in this game better and can also provide knowledge about one historical relic, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the critical role of art in the realm of writing, highlighting the transformative impact of artistic elements on the written word. Art infuses writing with creativity, beauty, and depth, transcending mere communication to become a form of expression that engages readers on emotional, intellectual, and aesthetic levels. Through the use of metaphors, symbolism, vivid imagery, and figurative language, writers create narratives that captivate, convey complex ideas, and provoke introspection. Artful writing, found in various genres like fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction, goes beyond storytelling; it resonates with readers, leaving a lasting impression and enriching the written word with its unique artistic charm. This study use qualitative approach, through in-depth interviews and surveys, with a diverse group of participants, including writers, readers, educators, and professionals from various fields. The result finings show the integral relationship between art and writing, emphasizing how art elevates writing to a higher form of human expression, connecting hearts and minds through the power of language, including the important think art in writing processing, and the ability to work under pressure.

Abstract

Most people who design and make video games for a living have experienced that game development is less pretty than it seems. Timelines to meet, bottlenecks in production, pressure from video game publishers, and endless workweeks are just a few of the many challenges that arise during the development cycle. However, few who venture into game development know that culture and customs test one’s sincerity and determination, but the drive to produce video games that look, feel, and play beautifully keeps them going. In this study, we learn how to make games with GameMaker Studio. The games that you make are simple, namely maze and platformer games. The game’s object is to move the object through the maze to reach the endpoint. In this example, the player is Pitung, and the endpoint is to exit the yard through the gate. The walls of the labyrinth were made of walls and a few thick trees that made it impassable. Besides that, if you encounter dogs and Dutch soldiers on the road, Pitung will return to find another way.

Abstract

Although Rallying is one of the most recognizable motorsport in the world, its popularity has been in a decline since 1997, including Indonesia. Citizens nowadays pay more attention to sports that are advertised more in entertainment media. The lack of attention and awareness towards the challenges and excitement of rallying makes it a niche motorsport. To expand the market for rallying media, a rallying-themed comic that tells the story of Michèle Mouton, Group B racer, will be made. The book explores Michèle’s career in rallying, as well as the excitement and issues she faced. The book will help readers understand factors that relates to things Michèle had faced, based on a storyline that is easy to digest, fun to read and educative. It is hoped that a rallying-themed comic book can introduce readers to the motorsport and help understand rally racers’ skills and challenges in championships they participate in.

Abstract

NFT marketplaces have revolutionized the digital creative economy by offering verifiable ownership, programmable royalties, and global reach for digital art and design. This paper analyzes how platforms like OpenSea, Rarible, Foundation, and LooksRare influence creative production, pricing dynamics, curation, and governance. Employing a mixed-methods approach—literate synthesis of recent literature, illustrative transaction dataset visualization, and praxis insight synthesis—we examine marketplaces across three dimensions: cultural/design practices, market structure, and ethical sustainability. The study highlights both liberatory affordances (access, upside for creators) and ethical frictions (volatility, discovery overload, royalty volatility, authenticity challenges, environmental concerns). We propose a “Responsible Marketplace Design” framework centered on transparency, creator equity, authenticity tooling, energy-conscious infrastructure, and fair curation. The paper concludes with actionable recommendations for creators, platforms, curators, and policy regulators, and outlines priority research directions including cross-chain interoperability, institutional valuation of on-chain works, and resilience of royalty systems.

Abstract

vatars—digital representations of users—play central roles in virtual worlds, social platforms, gaming, and emerging metaverse applications. Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) empower avatar systems with unprecedented expressivity, customization, and adaptability. This paper examines the design of AI-driven avatars through the lenses of creative potential, technical frameworks, user experience, and ethics. We deploy a mixed-methods approach: (i) synthesis of recent literature on AI-avatar systems and user embodiment; (ii) prototype implementation using generative and animated models; (iii) user evaluation that explores aesthetic appeal, identity expression, usability, and ethical perceptions. Findings demonstrate that AI-enhanced avatars boost users’ ability to convey identity, reduce design friction, and personalize interaction, while raising concerns regarding bias, authenticity, and ownership. We propose design guidelines emphasizing inclusivity, transparency, control, and data governance, and suggest future research directions in cross-platform compatibility, real-time emotion adaptation, avatar labor ethics, and legal frameworks for digital identity.

Abstract

AI text-to-video systems have moved rapidly from research prototypes to widely accessible creative tools. This paper surveys the current landscape through two lenses: (1) a scoping review of state-of-the-art models and governance mechanisms, and (2) an empirical, mixed-methods survey of creators, educators, and media professionals (N = 412) on access, use cases, perceived benefits, and risks. We find broad evidence of “democratization”—reduced cost and skill barriers enabling newcomers to produce compelling motion content—alongside unresolved dilemmas around provenance, copyright, deepfakes, bias, and compute intensity. We synthesize technical and policy directions to strengthen safety and accountability while preserving creative opportunity.

Abstract

The Chinese New Year (CNY) is a globally recognized cultural festival celebrated by millions worldwide. In 2024, advancements in immersive technologies enabled celebrations to extend into the metaverse, offering a blend of traditional cultural practices with virtual and interactive experiences. This study examines user perceptions, engagement patterns, and cultural transmission in a metaverse-based CNY 2024 celebration. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were collected via structured surveys to assess participation metrics, while qualitative insights were obtained through in-depth interviews. Findings indicate that metaverse-based events can enhance cultural accessibility, foster global community interaction, and maintain cultural authenticity, while also facing challenges related to technological accessibility and digital literacy.
