Abstract

The existence of the internet is inseparable from the life of modern society that relies on it as the primary source for information, such as websites. The use of the website is one of the government's efforts to disseminate information about Covid-19. Then Indonesia Government has covid19.go.id, an official website that becomes the major source for Covid-19 information. One of the determinants for the information quality is the website quality as a medium for that information. Thus, this study aims to analyze the quality of the Covid-19 countermeasures website. This study used descriptive qualitative method and collected data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The approach used to analyze the website quality is PIECES which consists of 6 indicators, namely: Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service. The resource person for this research is a system analyst working for National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) and for the Covid-19 Task Force to manage the Covid-19 website. The results of the study using the 6 PIECES indicators show that: 1) the website has a performance with a value of C or average because the size of the website is quite large and the loading time is 3.7 seconds, however, no errors are found; 2) the information presented is complete, useful, and in line with the visitors needs; 3) economically, the website has a positive impact on society and for entrepeneur to adapt their business to the existing regulations; 4) control of the website is carried out by several parties and the website has also achieved three international certificates from three different institutions; 5) in terms of efficiency, the website functions properly, but there are several features that cannot be used; 6) the website service is good since it provides a comfortable browsing experience. To improve the quality of the website, it is necessary to increase performance and improve several features.

Abstract

The rapid development of information makes the government must keep up with existing developments. The need for the use of information technology due to Indonesia's vast territory.Information services are carried out by the government to disseminate programs to the public including the MSME programs. However, the obstacles faced are the media and information channels that are less capable of being used as a source of information that disseminate the MSME programs. This study aims to find out how the MSME program information services in Makassar City, especially in the Bira Subdistrict-Tamalanrea District and Kunjungmae Subdistrict-Mariso District. The research method used was a survey with a quantitative approach with 121 research respondents. The results of the study conclude that respondents do not use official government media in the field of communication and information (central and regional) in seeking information. However, several topics of information that were of concern to respondents, including internet sites and social media, were very little used by respondents in accessing information services. Information channels as a source of information about the MSME program launched by the government were mostly obtained from banners/billboards posted by related agencies. Information services through information media that are used by the public to obtain MSME information services mostly come from television and from family members through direct communication as well as via email and social media.

Abstract

RRI Pro-3 as a public broadcasting institution taking the task on conveying information in a neutral, independent, as well as non-commercial ways. With the purpose of monitoring the quality of RRI Pro-3 news content, then research on news content analysis was conducted. Research on news content analysis was carried out on the hard news segment of RRI Pro-3 which was broadcast at 07.00, 13.00 and 19.00. The stages of analysis in this news content analysis research were inter-coder reliability test, measuring instrument reliability test, data selection, data initial test, description of descriptive data processing, mean data processing, correlation test, and data validity test. The results of content analysis research on the reliability test between coders show a value of 96.29%, the reliability test of the measuring instrument is 0.834 with an alpha of 5%. The description of descriptive data processing gives results in the form of information on the distribution of aspects that become supporting information for the news. Mean data processing was obtained by measuring the average aspects of accuracy, balance and neutrality. Correlation test was conducted between news themes and aspects of accuracy, balance and neutrality. The data validity test was carried out to determine the validity of the processed data, the validity value was obtained at an accuracy of 0.868**, a balance of 0.680**, a neutrality of 0.2533** (negative question). The research results provide information that the quality of the RRI Pro-3 news is good, aspects that can be improved is the balance of information through the presence of expert resource persons. It can be concluded that the existence of expert resourcepersons as part of the balance of information will not only facilitate public understanding of listeners but also educate the listeners.

Abstract

Technology that continues to develop makes the internet become a medium to disseminate  messages that can influence people's behavior. Wattpad is a site and blogging application that is currently in demand by teenager. However, teenager who often act impulsively can experience changes in behavior after reading novels on the Wattpad application. Based on this matter, then this study aims to determine the effect of using the Wattpad application on teenage behavior. This study used a quantitative method to examine the effect of using the Wattpad application on teenage behavior. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. There were 100 respondents who were the users of Wattpad application throughout Indonesia. Data was collected using an online questionnaire and then processed using SPSS version 28 for the classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that the use of the Wattpad application has an influence on teenage behavior by 58.2% and the remaining 41.8% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

As time goes by, information technology is increasingly developing which makes it easier for humans to create new media including audio media. Year 2020 is the year of the 'New golden age of audio' in which podcast listeners have tripled. Apart from that, 2020 was also the year when the Covid-19 pandemic appeared in Indonesia and had an adverse effect on the students’ mental health. The podcast that will be discussed in this study is one of the podcasts that are already present on Spotify which discusses mental health, namely the Psikologid podcast. The purpose of this study is to find out how the acceptance of Psikologid podcast messages as a learning medium for mental health for students. This study used a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that of the eight informants who have been selected, four informants belong to a dominant hegemonic position, three informants belong to a negotiating position, and one informant enters an oppositional position that rejects or is not in line with the message conveyed through the Psikologid podcast. With different backgrounds, the eight informants have different responses about the messages they received through the Psikologid podcast.

Abstract

User satisfaction continues to be a top priority in terms of digital services and is a very important factor for the success of the services. Halodoc is a telemedicine with a mobile application platform whose users are increasing due to the need for information during the Covid-19 pandemic. Halodoc as a health application that has a function as a health information and consulting service in Indonesia is expected to provide good service to provide user satisfaction.In that regards, this study aims to examine the effect of system quality and information quality of Halodoc application on user satisfaction. This research was conducted based on the Information Systems Success model designed by DeLone and McLean by taking several dimensions of success or the required variables.The samples used in this study were followers of the Twitter account @HalodocID who used the Halodoc application as of 10 August 2021. Questionnaires were distributed on 19-30 August 2021.This study chose the multiple linear regression model as a data analysis method that passed five tests; those are the normality test, the linearity test, the multicollinearity test, the autocorrelation test, and the heteroscedasticity test.Prior to the five tests, all questionnaire data from respondents had been tested and declared valid and reliable.Hypothesis testing in this study was carried out by examining the effect of system quality and information quality variables on user satisfaction through simultaneous testing (F test) and partial testing (t test). The research result proves that system quality and information quality have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction.
