Abstract

Wind power generation systems, wind speed has a significant impact on generator performance. Variations in wind speed can affect the reliability, efficiency, and output power of the system. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between changes in wind speed and generator performance, including energy conversion efficiency, output current, and output voltage. The study methodology includes actual measurements on a wind turbine-based generation system. The findings show that while higher wind speeds tend to increase generator output power, generator performance decreases drastically at low wind speeds, which can impact the reliability of electricity supply.

Abstract

The city of Bengkulu has various tourist objects both natural, cultural and artificial tourism. One of the tourist objects that has the potential to be developed and does not get more attention from the government is artificial tourism. There are still very few man-made tourist objects in the city of Bengkulu and seen from the availability of attractions, amenities and tourism accessibility that are not good in several parks that are used as green open spaces. The function of the park is not only as an object of recreation but can be developed into a tour that can educate the public. The application of ecological architecture in the design of Educational Tourism Parks is an effort to create buildings that pay attention to environmental balance while at the same time providing awareness and knowledge to the public about protecting the environment. By applying the principles of ecological architecture to the treatment of waste in buildings, the layout of the building mass, the shape of the building, and the use of materials. So that the Educational Tourism Park with an ecological architectural approach can become a place of education for all people and can minimize the impact of environmental damage.

Abstract

This research aims to process rubber latex into SIR 20 at PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur and the performance of the dryer machine in controlling the quality of SIR 20 rubber. The data collection method for this practical work is carried out based on the source. The data can be divided into two, namely primary data and secondary data. From the results of this research it was found that analyzing the quality of SIR 20 rubber products on dryer machine performance in controlling temperature, material weight and rubber density on the trolley on the dryer machine must be given great attention and really maintained so that product quality does not experience a decline in quality (rubber product defects). Rubber product defects occur due to many human/human factors, machine factors, temperature factors, material factors, environmental factors. The dryer process is a process of drying crumb rubber by removing water content with the aim of preserving it, making it easier to transport, and preparing for the next process. This process really determines the final quality of the rubber because without drying it cannot be produced because the quality does not meet the standard specification requirements. The heat used in the dryer machine comes from the biomass burning process, namely using palm shells as the main fuel in the combustion machine, heat from the machine. The combustion flows through an iron pipe to the dryer machine as heat in the crumb rubber drying process. A dryer machine is a machine used to make rubber dry and cook the rubber crumbs so that they can be processed further. This research was carried out from December 2022 to January 2023, at PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur. For a series of experiments carried out on the problem of overcoming rubber quality problems, because the mixing of raw material quality and rubber cleanliness greatly influences the rise and fall of rubber quality.

Abstract

The development of the Big Blue Button interactive learning media in the Data Structures course is an innovative step in the world of education. The aim of this research is to increase student learning effectiveness in understanding basic concepts in the Data Structures course. This research focuses on the design and development of Big Blue Button-based learning media with various interactive features contained in it. The main aim of this research is to create a learning environment that supports discussion, interaction, presentation and collaboration between lecturers and students. The research methods used include requirements analysis, interface design, development and testing. The research results show that the use of the Big Blue Button in the Data Structures course can improve the quality of learning, increase student participation, and make it easier to access learning materials. In addition, educational institutions can utilize web conferencing technology to enrich student learning experiences. This research is expected to have the potential to provide significant benefits in distance learning, especially in the context of learning programming techniques. By using this technology students can gain a more interactive and collaborative learning experience in understanding data structure concepts. Abstract

A micro hydro power plant (MHPP) is a small-scale power plant that converts the potential energy of the air into mechanical work, turning turbines and generators to generate electrical power. Small scale, which is around 0-100 kW. The construction of a Micro-hydro Power Plant (MHPP) is an alternative supply of electrical energy, especially in rural areas that are not covered by the electricity grid State Power Plant. MHPP has a high potential as an alternative to renewable energy sources. Thus, the reliability of the system built is a must forget quality electricity. In a power plant, what is considered is the stability of the output voltage generated by the generator; this is necessary to keep the consumer's equipment from being damaged. Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country whose economy depends on or is supported by the agricultural sector. But now climate change poses an increasingly greater threat. The agricultural sector is very vulnerable to climate change because of its dependence on weather. Renewable energy is expected to surpass the use of coal in electricity generation in the second half of the 2020s, and by 2050, renewable energy will account for 50% of global electricity generation. Based on the data, there is a lot of use of solar cells to support energy in the agricultural sector. There are several uses, such as irrigation, drying, spraying, fertilizing, pest control, and controlling pH and temperature. Apart from that, using solar panels also has the advantage of being environmentally friendly, economical, efficient, and can be used for a long period.

Abstract

In this increasingly developing era, computer technology is increasing so fast. In today's increasing technology, computer networks are widely used in all fields. However, with the increasing internet network, it will be directly proportional to the security holes used. As experienced by the internet network in the Semidang Lagan Bengkulu Tengah Sub-district Office, which is vulnerable to infiltration and the large number of users outside of employees and staff. The research method that will be applied in this study is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). Several stages in this research include:: Analysis, Design, Simulation Prototyping, Implementation, Monitoring and Management. The result of this research is the development of a hotspot-based network security system to enhance network security at the Semidang Lagan Bengkulu Tengah Sub-district office. Based on the results of several tests carried out, the authors conclude that after implementing hotspot-based security development and dividing bandwidth limitations for each user account, where one account can only be used by 2 users so as to make users more controlled and overload does not occur.

Abstract

Abstract: The population growth rate in Indonesia is high if compares to other developing countries. The increase in population also increases the need for housing facilities. Homeowner satisfaction is an absolute thing for developers to pay attention to and fulfill, including satisfaction with housing facilities and quality. The purpose of this study is to measure the satisfaction level of homeowners and to find out the dominant factors that influence home owner satisfaction. The research method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents in Megah Residence housing, then the data from the questionnaire results were processed and analyzed, included data validity test, data reliability test, and the importance of performance analysis. The results obtained show that the indicators that give satisfaction to homeowners from the facility variables are the outside appearance of the house (3.50), the size of the house (3.58), the layout (3.67), air circulation (3.58), the adequacy of the room get natural light (3.67), housing drainage (3.50), flood safe areas (3.75). Indicators that give home owner satisfaction from the variable of building quality are the roof of the house (3.67), the structure of the house (3.71), the full ceramic floor (3.83). The dominant factor that affects the satisfaction of homeowners is the design of the house (3,63). Based on impoerance performance analysis, these indicators provide satisfaction to the home owner and must be maintained by the developer

Abstract

In the oil processing and manufacturing industry (PLTGU) in Indonesia, including PT.PERTAMINA. Where the processing is in the form of crude oil, BBM (fuel oil). Non-Fuel, Petrochemicals and oil and gas supplies, for the eastern part of Indonesia. One of the main ingredients of this processing is water (H2O). Therefore, the location or location of industrial plants must be close to raw water sources, namely sea water or the need for clean watercontinuously andmaintained. Because the need forwateris very large, the flowof wateris madeaccording to the needs by building a pumping station. The water needed for cooling water is then channeled to the main reservoir for raw materials for making oil. Pumps are used as atool to move fluids from one place to another through pipe media with changes in pressure on the fluid. Pumps are usually for liquids. In the pump installation from the cooling tower installation to the main reservoir is the Vogel centrifugal pump, where the head loss on the suction pipe line is 0.8993 m, the head loss for the outlet pipe line is 1.211 m with a total head loss of 0.825 m and the efficiency or performance of the pump G-31-41A centrifuge of 33.78%

Abstract

Abstract: Belt conveyor serves to move goods in large quantities continuously from the first end of the conveyor (initial) to the other end of the conveyor (final). The working principle of the belt conveyor consists of the main component of the machine is a belt whose working principle is to transport material to be moved from the ship unloader or from the reclaimer hopper. The physical form of the belt is a belt that extends along the conveyor. Maintenance on belt conveyor machines is carried out regularly, such as weekly maintenance and monthly maintenance on each component. This periodic maintenance is carried out starting from the damage inspection stage and the stage of replacing damaged components.Analyze and observe the belt conveyor machine by collecting data on problems that can damage the belt conveyor machine and can hinder the production process.
