Abstract

Abstract: The foundation is a very important structural element considering its function, and it is necessary to know the strength of its bearing capacity. This study aims to determine the bearing capacity of the installed foundation using vibration data based on low strain and the tool used is called a 3-axis accelerometer. In this study, what is meant by carrying capacity is Pcr (critical load/bending load), which is precisely when the concrete experiences the first crack. There are 2 variations of concrete test objects ini this study : plain concrete and reinforced concrete with a size of 20 cm x 20 cm x 100 cm. The test object is planted in the soil as deep as 90 cm, after which it is anchored by a tool called the 3-axis accelerometer, then given several variations of the load so that the test can be carried out. After testing, the vibration data will be converted to the frequency domain, then the natural frequency will be plotted into a linear curve along with the applied load so that the Pcr value of the concrete pile is obtained. After that, the Pcr value obtained will be compared with the SAP 2000 modeling as proof. The results of this study showed that the deviation between the Pcr value with the experimental method and the SAP 2000 modeling Pcr value was 0.22% in plain concrete, and 1.10% in reinforced concrete. This proves that the bearing capacity of concrete piles (Pcr) can be known accurately by using vibration data.

Abstract

Abstract: The foundation is one of the structures had an important function so periodic inspections are needed. This study aimed to compare the pile response towards vibration and the pile depth from the calculation results due to vibration spikes with the actual data. The apparatus used is Pile Integrity Test (PIT) based on the low strain with a 3-axis accelerometer. In this study, two conditions were tested, before and after the pile was embedded in the ground. The samples used in this study are three piles, the height is 1 meter with the first pile without damage, the second pile with one section damage, and the third pile with two section damage. The results of this study showed that the vibration spike which marked the damage was only visible on the pile before being embedded with an average deviation of 5,46%. The vibration spike showed the average pile base is at a depth of ±900 mm and is more clearly visible on the pile after being embedded. The result found that this apparatus can detect the base of the pile with an average deviation of 6,98%.

Abstract

Rumah tradisional di Indonesia adalah penerapan konsep rumah yang mampu beradaptasi dengan iklim tropis. Hal ini juga berlaku pada Rumah Adat Karampuang yang terletak di Kabupaten Sinjai Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kualitatif deskriptif yang mengacu pada pemecahan masalah iklim tropis pada rumah tradisional Karampuang di Kabupaten Sinjai. Rumah adat Karampuang adalah bukti penerapan konsep arsitektur tropis pada bangunan tradisional. Pemecahan masalah iklim tropis diterapkan pada bentuk atap, penggunaan overstek, ventilasi, kolom, aturan jarak, orientasi bangunan dan material yang digunakan.

Abstract

In 2021, 65.87% of the Indonesian population had a mobile phone. The smartphone market in Indonesia is expected to increase by 8% from the previous year to 44 million units in 2022. Users must consider various factors such as price, specifications, and others before deciding to buy a smartphone. In an effort to develop a smartphone selection support system, research uses the Fuzzy Tahani method. The Fuzzy inference system model Tahani will process the input provided by the user and then return the processed result as an output list of smartphone recommendations to the user sorted by fire strength value. As a final result, the fuzzy logic Tahani model can be used to provide accurate smartphone selection recommendations by considering various criteria proportionally.

Abstract

Currently the need for electrical energy is increasing both for industrial and household needs, but until now a lot of electrical energy has been replaced by non-renewable resources (coal), which will run out if it continues to be used. Tes Hydroelectric Power Plant is one of the electrical energy generators that can be renewable. Among the several generating units in Tes Hydroelectric Power Plant, Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7 is the most recent, having been inaugurated for the first time in 2014. The power potential that can be projected from this hydroelectric power plant unit 7 still needs to be looked at further. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the potential for electric power from the Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7 from 01 July 2022 to 03 July 2022.          In making observations about the analysis of the power potential at the Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7, several methods are used. Such as observation of data for 3 days of operation from 01 July 2022 to 03 July 2022, literature study and several interview methods with field consultants. The value of the air discharge obtained from the use of air volume per day at the Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7. On three days of observation, the Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7 were able to produce the highest electrical energy on 03 July 2022, namely 100,722 kWh and the lowest was 99,808 kWh on 02 July 2022. In three days, the electric power that paid for the Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7 reached 4173, 40 kW. The Tes’s hydroelectric power plant unit 7 can generate a daily net income of Rp. 105,689,588, - with a perkWh price of Rp. 1300, - and reduced by the basic cost of Rp. 244.81, -, from the sale of electrical energy.

Abstract

Alignment is a process that aligns two shaft axes that are not straight to centric (between the driving shaft and the driven shaft axis). Correct alignment is needed so that the clutch run out check is correct, so that parallel misalignment and angular misalignment do not occur which caused the industry to lose billions of dollars. The purpose of this research is to analyze the alignment performance on the Benfield 1107 JB PT pump shaft. PUSRI to create the correct alignment. The method used in this study is a dial indicator with the face and rim method. The measuring instrument used is a Dial Indicator with a detailed accuracy of 0.01 mm with radial and axial measurements. The results show a different final value for each angle used. From the difference in values ​​obtained, namely in the radial direction the angle is 0o which is 0 mm, the 90o angle is 0.07 mm, the 180o angle is 0.14 mm, and the 270o angle is 0.07 mm, and the difference in value in the axial direction is the angle 0o is 0 mm, 90o angle of 0.01 mm, 180o angle of 0.01 mm, and 270o angle of 0 mm indicates that the 1107-JB Benfield Pump is ready to operate again on the P-IV Ammonia section.

Abstract

Payroll Information System (SIPEGA) at PT. PBI Bengkulu City is an information system that can manage salary data at PT. PBI City Bengkulu. PT. PBI Bengkulu City, currently still processing payroll carried out manually requires observation, accuracy, and detailed planning of the entire payroll process. Therefore, the information system. This will help the company in processing salary data. This Information System will be developed with the method of analysis using the waterfall method. The Waterfall model is an orderly or sequential analysis process. The design uses UML, interface design and design. ERD database. So that in this study obtained an information system that can help manage salary data and facilitate reporting.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada berbagai sektor kehidupan, termasuk dalam manajemen keuangan dan pengelolaan pinjaman. Dalam konteks ini, koperasi SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu membutuhkan perancangan sistem informasi yang efektif untuk mengelola kegiatan simpan pinjam pegawai negeri mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi yang dapat mmembantu koperasi SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu untuk mengelola kegiatan simpan pinjam pegawai negeri dengan lebih efisien dan akurat. Sistem informasi yang dirancang akan mencakup fitur-fitur seperti pencatatan data anggota, pengelolaan simpanan, perhitungan bunga dan laporan keuangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis dan digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merancang sistem informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan koperasi SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi dan user-friendly untuk kegiatan simpan pinjam pegawai negeri pada koperasi SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan keuangan, mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan, dan memberikan informasi yang akurat dan terpercaya kepada para anggota koperas.

Abstract

PLN Indonesia Power ULPL TA Musi utilizes the potential energy of water which is then used to drive a turbine connected to a generator rotor. Excitation system plays an important role in controlling the stabil of a generator as a controller and functions to control generator output such as voltage, current and power factor. The excitaton system for all units in the Musi hydroelectric power house uses a brush excitation system. Brush excitation is an excitation with a brush by utilizing the output of the generator itself as the excitation. There are 3 types of generator power, namely active power (MW), reactive power (MVAR), and apparent power (MVA). This data is taken from the daily operaing data of the Musi turbine hydropower unit 1. The highest power factor value is obtained in the early morning of 0,999 Cos  with a reactive power value of 0,5 MVAR to 1,8 MVAR. While the lowestpower factor value is 0,975 Cos  with a reactive power value is 6,2 MVAR. The smaller the reactive power value, the greater the power factor.

Abstract

Gas turbine efficiency is an indicator to determine the performance of a generator. The greater the efficiency value of the gas turbine in a generator, the better the performance of the generator. One of the things that affect the value of the efficiency of a gas turbine is the air fuel ratio. Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) is the ratio of the amount of air and fuel in the combustion process in units of mass or volume. Air fuel ratio is a factor that affects the perfection of the combustion process in the combustion chamber. In the graphic image it can be seen that the lowest AFR values ​​are on July 3 and 4 2022, when the gas turbine produces a loading of 20900 kW and 20100 kW with an AFR value of 39.76 unitless each. Whereas the highest AFR value is on June 28 2022 when the gas turbine produces a loading of 20780 kW with an AFR value of 40.68 unitless. The highest gas turbine efficiency value is on June 30, 2022, at a loading of 20,650 kW with a gas turbine efficiency of 83.3%. The lowest efficiency value is on July 2, 2022, at a load of 20,800 kW with a gas turbine efficiency of 81.05%. From the results of existing data processing and graphs, it can be seen that the value of the air fuel ratio and the efficiency of the gas turbine are inversely proportional, which means that when the value of the air fuel ratio decreases, the value of the efficiency of the gas turbine tends to increase. However, there are some deviations when the value of the air fuel ratio decreases, the efficiency of the gas turbine also decreases. Therefore it can be concluded that the value of the air fuel ratio affects the value of the efficiency of the gas turbine, however, the value of the air fuel ratio is not the only factor that affects the value of the efficiency of the gas turbine.
