Abstract

These marine natural resources include various types of fish, molluscs, and crustaceans. Maluku is a waters rich in benthic organisms, the coastal environment of Seri village can be said to be productive which shows various types of resources that can be utilized continuously in the presence of various types of marine organisms or marine biota such as Nerita. This research is a form of scientific contribution to learning marine biology. This research is a descriptive type of research, to describe or describe information about the density of Neritidae in the coastal waters of Seri Village which is made in the form of tables and figures. The results of the calculation of the density of Neritidae in the coastal waters of Desa Seri which were carried out as a whole from 3 transects found 7 species, 1 family, 1 genus and 207 individuals in the phylum Mollusca. By calculating the density on the coast of Seri Village, the values for each species are as follows: Nerita squamulata is 0.001833, Nerita chamaeleon is 0.002167, Nerita maxima is 0.002167, Nerita polita is 0.026333, Nerita albicilla is 0, 0015, Nerita planospira was 0.000333 and Nerita patula was 0.000167 with a total absolute density of 0.0345. according to the density category according to Cox (1967) which explains that 0 = no density, 1-10 = less density, 10-20 = sufficient density and > 20 = very high density, thus it can be concluded that Neritidae in coastal waters of Seri village is no density.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology at this time is very rapid. This can be seen from the increasingly sophisticated communication and information tools such as mobile phones and computers. Mobile phones that used to only feature telephones, now they are very developed to the point of 4G technology that can speed up the flow of delivery. In help students in the learning process of SMP N 9 AMBON, they use 2 applications, namely the E-Learning application and the Zoom application. This study uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data about the observations were analyzed qualitatively. Student learning outcomes data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the average score, standard deviation, median, highest score, and lowest score, this study also used inferential analysis techniques used to test research hypotheses. Based on the results of research and data analysis, for students who were given the treatment of learning models using the Zoom application, the results obtained were the average value of 47.5 out of a maximum score of 100. Based on the results of research and data analysis, for students who were given the treatment of learning models using the E-Learning application, the results obtained were the average value of 45.71 from a maximum score of 100.

Abstract

Gandaria leaves (Boea macrophylla Griff) have potential as antibacterial. The ability to inhibit bacterial growth is inseparable from the role of active compounds, namely flavonoids, tannins, quinones and triterpenoids. Growth by microbes needs to be controlled, namely by inhibiting microorganisms, one way is by using chemicals, namely antiseptics. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of antiseptics made from gandaria leaves against the growth of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria. The concentrations of the ethanol extract of gandaria leaves used were 5%, 15% and 25% and betadine (+) and aquades (-) were used as controls. Antiseptic effectiveness test against S. aureus and E. coli bacteria using disc diffusion method. The test results showed that the antiseptic based on gandaria leaves had the ability to inhibit the growth of S. aureus with a concentration of 15% at 2.00 mm and 25% at 4.00 mm. Meanwhile, for E. coli bacteria, antiseptic made from gandaria leaves has an inhibition zone at a concentration of 15% at 1.00 mm. In accordance with the criteria for antiseptic power according to Davis Stout, gandaria leaves which are used as basic ingredients for antiseptics are included in the criteria for very weak antiseptic power (≤5). Therefore, the antiseptic based on gandaria leaves in this study was less effective in inhibiting the growth of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria.

Abstract

Education and teaching focusing on the interaction between educators with educated or teachers with students. The interaction of teachers and teaching in improving stundent learning outcomes especially on biological materials, desperately needs attention, motivation, and interest. It almost entirely uses a good teaching style. This study was conducted for 1 month starting from 05th of November until 05th of Desember 2021. The purpose of this study is to influence of teacher’s teaching style (Variable X) and motivation of student learning outcomes in Biology at SMP Hang Tuah Lantamal IX Ambon by taked sample of 35 respondents, are the students of class VIII. The results showed that there is a significant influence or perfect correlation between teacher teaching styles on the motivation of learning results ofhuman’s blood circulation system in grade VIII of SMP Hang Tuah Lantamal IX Ambon. It is provenby the product moment correlation value of pearson rarithematic = 1.00 when compared with rtable = 0, 334 and according to table interpretstion of pearson correlation coefficient. Thus the hypothesis H1 which states there is a significant influence between teacher teaching style on student learning outcomes motivation.

Abstract

PjBL-HOTS is a learning that emphasizes contextual learning which is implemented through project activities in this project learning is carried out on a hots basis so that students can think more critically, creatively and actively in constructing learning and be able to solve problems in everyday life. This study aims to determine the effect of the PjBL-HOTS learning model on students' cognitive and metacognitive learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMAN 5 Central Maluku on April 28 to May 28, 2021, which is located in Tulehu village. The method used is a quasi-experimental design. Based on the LSD further test, it shows that PjBLHOTS learning can affect students' cognitive learning outcomes as evidenced by the increase in cognitive and metacognitive learning outcomes with the average difference between the pretest and posttest cognitive results, which is -23.08571 and the average metacognitive value, which is 16.18081. learning that is done without a project. The results of this study indicate that the use of the PjBL-HOTS learning model can affect students' cognitive and metacognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the phenetic diversity of seagrass species in the coastal waters of Poka Village based on morphometrics. This research is a type of descriptive research, in which morphometric measurements are carried out to determine the phenetic diversity of seagrass species. Meanwhile, for kinship relationships between seagrasses. Software is used past 4.0. The results of this research were that four types of seagrass were found, namely Thalasssia hemprichii, Enhalus acoroides, Halophila pinifolia and Halophila ovalis. This indicates that the Poka Village beach has a high phenetic diversity of seagrass species with varying morphometrics for each character and type, which is influenced by the type of substrate and environmental parameters. Seagrasses that are closely related, namely, Thalasssia hemprichii and Enhalus acoroides are in one monophyletic group (ingroup) and are very closely related. Likewise with Halodule pinifolia and Halophila ovalis.
