Abstract

In this modern era, disseminating information is easier and faster through the latest technology, including publications using information media. Little Ambulance is a social institution in the field of public health which requires information media to build public trust. Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a reference framework used to build an information architecture that suits the needs of Little Ambulance. Little Ambulance, by using this EA, is able to identify ongoing transactions and operations and also to design a blueprint for the future. The required information architecture includes information about location, news, volunteer search, and donation transaction reports. Creating this website can help Little Ambulance to gain trust, support and volunteers who want to join, as well as to ensure transparency of expenditure made by Little Ambulance in order to increase public trust.

Abstract

The Sarijadi Village Karang Taruna is one of the social institutions in the Sarijadi Village area which plays a role in improving social welfare for the community, of course by holding activities such as social services. To support these activities, Karang Taruna needs more contributions from its own community, both in the form of suggestions and criticism, as well as relevant data. Not only does that data exist, but data such as attendance lists, schedule boards, minutes, and so on are needed for future needs. In collecting this data, Karang Taruna must have good and structured operational management so that the data it already has can be stored properly and minimize data loss. In improving operational management, Karang Taruna can use an information system, so that the resources they have can be used efficiently and effectively. In developing an organization's operational management information system, a good and structured information system strategic planning is required. In writing this article, the researcher used the Ward and Peppard research method. Where by using this method, information system strategic planning, Karang Taruna can better understand its external environment, help adapt, and improve operational management. Several strategic planning techniques such as Value Chain Analysis, Five Forces Analysis, and SWOT Analysis are used to analyze the internal and external environment. In the end, this research can produce recommendations for organizations in establishing an IS/IT unit and improving operational management for organizational sustainability.

Abstract

This paper presents a numerical analysis of laser induced periodic surface structures (LIPSS) using lattice Boltzmann method. The Cattaneo-Vernotte hyperbolic heat conduction model is used to derive the hyperbolic lattice Boltzmann in order to consider the non-Fourier effect in conduction. A Gaussian ultrashort laser is induced on a thin film with varying length in the nanoscale. The energy transfer within the material is governed by the two temperature model which calculates the evolution of electron and lattice temperatures. The thermal and optical properties of the nanostructure is modelled based on quantum mechanics theory. The resultant nondimensional temperature and ablation profile are compared to experimental and other numerical methods data. Additionally, the effect of parallel computing is shown.

Abstract

COVID-19 vaccination is one of the efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the impact or severe symptoms of COVID-19. On social media, many Indonesians have expressed their opinions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. With technology, we can classify Indonesian public opinion on the COVID-19 vaccine on social media, including pros or cons. Sentiment analysis using the LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) algorithm is one way. The data that has been taken will go through a cleaning and weighting process using Word2Vec before entering the LSTM algorithm. With the evaluation method of the K-Fold Cross Validation model, we can determine the performance of this LSTM algorithm. The results of the performance of this LSTM model show an average accuracy of 74.1% and have the best accuracy in the 4th Fold, which is 81%. The data that has been taken will be tested on this best model, and the results of the sentiment analysis of Indonesian public opinion on the COVID-19 vaccine are 49.4% Positive and 50.6% Negative.

Abstract

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is composed of nucleotide chains containing nitrogenous bases, phosphate groups, and pentose sugars, with variations primarily occurring in the sequence of nitrogenous bases. The analysis of DNA sequences often employs the Smith-Waterman algorithm for sequence alignment, a fundamental technique in bioinformatics. This research evaluates the performance of the Smith-Waterman algorithm across varying sequence lengths (10, 102, 103, and 104) using both serial and parallel implementations with the OpenMPI library. The study focuses on measuring execution times and speedup on 4, 6, 10, 12, and 24 cores. Results indicate that while execution times increase with longer sequences, parallelization significantly reduces processing time for sequences longer than 102. However, smaller sequences exhibit higher overhead on shorter lengths. The findings underscore the importance of efficient parallel programming and task allocation strategies in optimizing computational performance for DNA sequence analysis.
