Abstract

The integration of technology into education and counseling has become essential in improving the quality of support services for students. This study aims to develop Konselink, a digital application that combines task management, motivational content, and counseling features as a holistic solution to address students’ productivity and mental well-being needs. The development method follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the spiral model approach, emphasizing risk evaluation and iterative progress across stages. The development process includes planning features based on literature review, risk analysis, technical engineering, and limited user evaluation. The result is an application with five main features: a login/register page for user authentication, a task list for managing assignments, an inspiration page displaying motivational videos linked to YouTube, a counseling feature integrated with WhatsApp, and a profile page for account settings. Initial evaluation indicates that Konselink helps users manage their time efficiently, gain emotional encouragement, and access counseling services practically. In conclusion, Konselink provides an innovative approach to supporting academic success and student mental health through accessible and relevant digital technology integration.

Abstract

The TravelLog application was developed to address the need for structured travel documentation, utilizing Firebase Realtime Database for instant data synchronization. This study aimed to create a mobile application enabling users to log travel details, manage destination wishlists, and access records easily through search and filter features. Employing the Agile methodology, the development process was conducted iteratively, emphasizing intuitive UI/UX design and Black Box testing to ensure functionality. The results demonstrate that TravelLog effectively overcomes the limitations of conventional documentation methods, such as physical notes or unorganized photo galleries, providing an integrated, efficient, and user-friendly solution.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the perceptions of students at Universitas Negeri Makassar regarding the quality of the campus WiFi network services using a Quality of Experience (QoE) approach based on the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) scale. A descriptive quantitative method was applied by distributing an online questionnaire to 100 active respondents. The results show that all indicators related to connectivity, stability and speed, as well as convenience and satisfaction in usage obtained average MOS scores above 4.50 and are categorized as very good. These findings indicate that the campus WiFi service has been able to meet students’ academic needs and provide a satisfactory user experience.

Abstract

Internship activities among students are generally still carried out using manual attendance and logbook recording systems, such as signature sheets or written notes. These conventional methods often lead to inefficiencies, delays in data processing, and potential manipulation of attendance records. Therefore, a digital system is needed to monitor student attendance automatically and accurately based on their actual location. This study aims to develop an Android-based internship attendance and logbook application utilizing geofence technology. The application is designed as a solution to the limitations of manual systems by providing location-based attendance features, daily logbook recording, and an integrated dashboard accessible to students, supervisors, and administrators. The development process adopts the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system only allows attendance when the user is within the predefined internship location radius, thereby ensuring the validity and accuracy of attendance data. Testing was conducted based on the ISO/IEC 25010 quality standard, covering aspects of Functional Suitability, Usability, Performance Efficiency, Compatibility, and Security. The results show that the application achieved a very good level of feasibility, with a usability score of 89%, an average response time of 2.21 seconds, good compatibility across various Android devices, and a Security Grade A rating. Based on these results, the developed application is declared feasible for use and can serve as an effective solution to support student internship activities in a digital, accurate, and efficient manner.
