Abstract

This experiment was aimed to know the effect of using student wooksheet on the Cooperative Learning Pair Checks Type toward Student Learning Outcomes of Class X in Senior High School 1 Enrekang study on reduction-oksidation reaction. The independent variable in this reseach was student worksheet on the cooperative learning pair checks type, while the dependent variable was student’s learning outcomes. The Population in this reseach was all of student on class X SMAN 1 Enrekang with totaling 308 students which consist of 10 class. While the samples on this reseacrh where chosen by random, the class has been chosen was class X MIA 5 as a control with number of students are 34 people and class X MIA 7 as a experiment class with number of students are 26 people. Retrievel data of learning outcomes was achieved by using the pretest-posttest were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The analysis descriptive statistics showed the average value of student learning outcomes experiment class and control class increased with average value of N-gain 0,609 and 0,509. Based on the analysis of inferentials statistic obtained tcount > ttable then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It can be conclused that student worksheet on the Cooperative Learning Pair Checks Type have positive effect toward Student Learning Outcomes of Senior High School 1 Enrekang Class X on reduction-oksidation reaction topic.

Abstract

This research aims to estimate standard error of measurement with TCC and IRT approach and compare the most sensitive theory in estimating standard error of measurement about Tryout SBMPTN TPA Year 2018 in Makassar City. This research is descriptive - explorative research with quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were participants of SBMPTN tryout in 2018 in Makassar city as many as 455 examinee. Data source in this research is answer sheet of SBMPTN TPA trial tryout participants in Makassar City. The instrument used in this study, which is a matter of multiple choice of Academic Potential Test (TPA) consisting of 50 items. The result of standard error estimation based on CTT is SE.Meas = 2.95, SE.Est = 2.322 and SE.Pred = 3.743. While measurement error based on IRT is 0,349. IRT is more sensitive in estimating measurement error about Tryout SBMPTN TPA 2018 in Makassar city.

Abstract

The aim of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to recognize the systematically applied of the Cooperative Learning Model based NHT (Number Head Together) to increase the activities and the learning result of students in class X6 MAN 1 Makassar. There are four steps of CAR model such as (1) action planning, (2) implementation (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was held as many as two cycles. The data of this research result showed that, the learning with NHT model is able to increase the activities and the learning result of students in class X6 MAN 1 Makassar which is consist of 5 phase such as (1) Numbering phase, informing the aim, giving the perception, and motivating the students request. (2) Questioning phase and showing the information by explaining the available subject matter which is suitable with the learning indicators, (3) Head together phase was performed by providing the LKS and asking the students to answer the question together, (4) Answering phase was held by revealing the head number and asking the students to answer the question in the LKS which is suitable with group discussion result, (5) evaluation phase was held by proposing to the students to conclude the subject matter which was learned.

Abstract

This study is a quasi-experimental research aimed to determine the effect of giving quiz in the beginning of each meeting through concept attainment learning toward the motivation and student achievement on class X SMAN 1 Liliriaja. The independent variable in this study is using quiz in the beginning of each meeting through the concept attainment learning on the experimental class and without quiz in control class, and the dependent variable is the motivation and students achievement on chemical bonding subject matter. The population was all of class X SMAN 1 Liliriaja which consists of 11 classes, and the sample consisted of two classes such as class X.1 as an experiment class with 35 students and X.2 as a control class with 35 students. The data was obtained by giving a statement motivation questioner consisting of 25 statements. Data were analyzed using a likert scale scoring and obtained by the students motivation in good category, then by using SPSS and found that the correlation between the variables has a significant correlation. Data were obtained by providing student achievement test on chemical bonding Data were obtained by providing students achievement test on chemical bonding subject matter in the form of post-test which consists of 20 items multiple choice. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test products t(count) > t(table) = 4,873 > 1.67 at α ═ 0.05. T-test results prove that using quiz in the beginning of each meeting through concept attainment learning give positive effect on motivation and students achievement at class X SMA Negeri 1 Liliriaja studies on chemical bonding.

The independent variable in this experiment was discovery learning model by scientific approach and the dependent variable was student’s achievement on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution subject matter. The population was class X MS SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba that consisted of 140 students. Taking technique of sample was random sampling. The sample of this research consisted of two classes, namely class X MS2 as an experiment class with 26 students and class X MS3 as a control class with 25 students. The data of this research were gathered by testing the student’s achievement on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution subject matter. Data analysis technique was done by descriptive and inferential analysis. The hypothesis test by t-test was gathered tcalculated =2.68 more bigger than t(0.05;49)=2.00. Conclude that discovery learning model by scientific approach gives effected toward student’s achievement of class X MS SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution as subject matter.

Abstract

This research was a classroom action research (CAR). The aimed was to find systematic steps of TGT learning model to increase the activity of student in X3 grade of senior high school 5 Tanralili Maros. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the steps in each stage of the learning model that can improve student learning activities were: (1) The class presenting stage conducted by explained the objective learning and associated the learning topics that have been studied previously by orally to students, (2) the group discussion stage conducted by divided students into the learning heterogeneous groups, instructed students to master the topic at home, instructed students to bring reading topics that related to the subject of discussion and explained to students the meaning of teamwork, (3) the group presentation stage conducted by provided students to convey the results of the discussion and instructed students to make a questions before presentation time began, (4) the game stage conducted by instructed students to solve the problems independently and to uphold the values of honesty, (5) the tournament stage conducted by provided students to represent their group at the tournament table with same scores game, (6) the awards stage conducted by giving the prizes to the best groups and provided motivation to the group not as a winner in order to try harder, (7) the conclusions stage done by students and teacher together, which the students concluded the topic must be based on learning objectives. By implementing these stages, the students learning activities increased by 32.50 %.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research which aims to know the difference of learning outcomes between the students that learned by using cooperative learning model with type of NHT and the students that learned by using cooperative learning model with type of STAD. The research design was “Posttest-Only Design”. The independent variables of this research are cooperative learning model with type of NHT and cooperative learning model with type of STAD, and the dependent variable is learning outcomes. The population of this research is all first grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Segeri that consist of seven classes with the number 210 students, whereas the research samples are class XH as the first experiment class and class XB as the second experiment class. Each class consists of 30 students. Data of learning outcomes is performed by givingposttest. Data that with multiple choice as much 20 items is analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential. The result of analysis shows that the average value of learning outcomes of the first experiment class in the posttest is 77. 16 and the second experiment class is 70.66. The result of hypothesis testing using t-testing isobtained the value as t count = 3.3859 and in the significant level of α = 0.05 with dk = 58 obtained value as t table = 1. 672. Therefore, t count>t table , so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It means that the learning outcomes of students that learned by using learning cooperative model with type of NHT is better than the students that learned by using learning cooperative model with type of STAD in the fisrt grade class of SMA Negeri 1 Segeri in the main subject of chemical bond.
