Abstract

Electrical fault detection in solar panels is a critical challenge in maintaining the efficiency of large-scale photovoltaic energy systems. This research develops a deep learning-based automated classification model by leveraging the YOLOv8-CLS architecture, refined through transfer learning and systematically applied data augmentation. The dataset consists of two panel condition classes, clean and electrical-damage, which were preprocessed through image size normalization, tensor transformation, and augmentation using RandAugment and random erasing. The model was trained for 15 epochs with fine-tuning applied to the head, while the backbone retained pretrained weights. Performance evaluation showed that the model achieved a Top-1 Accuracy of 98.21%, with precision for the electrical-damage class reaching 100%, recall at 94.12%, and an F₁-score of 0.9697. Furthermore, an average inference time of 18.82 milliseconds per image demonstrates high computational efficiency for real-time deployment. These findings indicate that the integration of the YOLOv8 architecture with transfer learning and controlled augmentation is effective for detecting electrical faults in solar panels and is suitable for implementation in automated monitoring systems based on edge or cloud computing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan sistem informasi inventaris aset berbasis website pada UPT SDN 139 Inpres Benteng Kabupaten Takalar serta menguji kelayakan sistem berdasarkan standar ISO 25010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan utama, yaitu: (1) Analysis, dilakukan identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna dan analisis permasalahan inventarisasi aset di sekolah; (2) Design, perancangan sistem informasi meliputi struktur database, antarmuka pengguna, dan alur kerja sistem; (3) Development, proses pembuatan sistem berbasis website sesuai desain yang telah disusun; (4) Implementation, penerapan sistem di lingkungan sekolah serta pelatihan kepada pengguna; dan (5) Evaluation, pengujian sistem menggunakan standar ISO 25010 yang meliputi aspek functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, dan portability. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, operator, dan guru yang ada di UPT SDN 139 Inpres Benteng Kabupaten Takalar. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem memenuhi seluruh aspek ISO 25010 dengan kategori sangat baik, antara lain functional suitability 100%, performance efficiency waktu muat 781ms, compatibility dan portability diuji pada 5 perangkat dan browser tanpa error, usability 83,5%, reliability dan security 100%, serta maintainability yang memberikan notifikasi otomatis jika terdapat kesalahan input. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan aset sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the feasibility of the economic installation system of Solar Street Lighting (PJU-TS) on Sapuka Island, Liukang Tangaya District, Pangkep Regency—an island region that is categorized as a disadvantaged region. The study uses a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) approach to produce the economic efficiency of the PJU-TS project. Based on the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), and Payback Period, the results show that this project is economically feasible and provides significant social benefits. These findings support the development of renewable energy as a lighting solution in island areas that are difficult to reach by conventional electricity networks.

Abstract

The transformation towards sustainable development demands a paradigm shift in economic education, from a conventional approach to a green approach that emphasizes the harmony between economic growth and environmental sustainability. This article aims to theoretically explore the relationship between green economic education and student innovation in the development of renewable energy technology. This study was conducted through a qualitative approach with a literature review method, reviewing scientific literature from 2020 to 2025 that is relevant to the theme. The results of the exploration show that green economic education has a strategic role in shaping environmental awareness, green entrepreneurship literacy, and encouragement of sustainable innovation. Student innovation in renewable energy is not only influenced by the availability of technology, but also by the understanding of sustainable economic values ​​obtained from the learning process. Therefore, green economic education in higher education needs to be designed contextually and interdisciplinary in order to be able to develop students' critical, creative, and collaborative competencies. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of economic education curriculum and encourages the strengthening of innovation culture in the campus environment.

Abstract

The application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in microcontroller-based robotic system engineering teaching aids is an innovative solution in improving the effectiveness of vocational learning, especially in the field of mechatronics and industrial automation. This study aims to analyse the impact of using IoT-based teaching aids and microcontrollers (such as Arduino or ESP32) in improving students' understanding of robotic concepts and practical skills. The research method used a quasi-experimental experiment by comparing a control group (using conventional teaching aids) and an experimental group (using IoT teaching aids). Data were collected through practical tests, learning satisfaction questionnaires, and student performance observations. The results showed that the use of IoT props increased the understanding of robotic concepts by 25% and the speed of completing practical tasks by 30% compared to traditional methods. In addition, 85% of students stated that IoT-based teaching aids are more interactive and facilitate real-time visualisation of robotic systems through digital interfaces. However, the main challenge lies in the need for stable network infrastructure and teacher training in operating IoT devices. This study concludes that the integration of IoT in microcontroller-based robotic teaching aids has the potential to improve the quality of vocational learning, with recommendations for strengthening infrastructure support and teacher training to optimise implementation.

Abstract

Electricity subsidy is one of the government intervention policies in order to improve people's welfare, especially low-income households. This study aims to analyze the impact of electricity subsidies on household welfare in terms of expenditure, access to children's education, and economic productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 120 households receiving subsidies in urban and rural areas in South Sulawesi Province. The results of the study indicate that electricity subsidies are able to reduce the proportion of electricity expenditure to total household expenditure, increase children's attendance and learning activities at night, and encourage household economic activities such as micro and home businesses. Thus, electricity subsidies have been proven to make a positive contribution to improving welfare, although improvements are still needed in the beneficiary targeting system. This study recommends increasing the accuracy of subsidy recipient data and integrating programs with household productivity interventions.

Abstract

An energy audit at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Gowa was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of electricity consumption and identify potential energy savings in daily school operations. The methods included a preliminary energy audit involving annual energy consumption data collection and calculation of Energy Consumption Intensity (ECI), as well as a detailed audit of the lighting system. The results showed that the school building was categorized as efficient, with an initial ECI value of 0.701 kWh/m²/month. However, several rooms were found to have lighting levels below the standard, prompting the addition of energy-saving LED lamps. After these improvements, the ECI increased to 1.39 kWh/m²/month but remained within the efficient category. This audit demonstrates that improving lighting quality can be achieved without sacrificing overall energy efficiency and provides concrete recommendations for school energy management to support sustainable energy efficiency and environmental preservation

Abstract

Perubahan global yang terjadi saat ini, khususnya terkait dengan pemanasan global yang semakin parah, memberikan dampak besar terhadap kondisi lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, ekonomi hijau muncul sebagai solusi dengan fokus pada pertumbuhan yang ramah lingkungan, inovasi teknologi, serta pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan ekonomi hijau sebagai strategi untuk menciptakan model bisnis yang tidak hanya menguntungkan, tetapi juga inklusif dan mampu membuka peluang ekonomi yang sebelumnya belum dimanfaatkan. Melalui tinjauan literatur tentang investasi hijau dan sistem ekonomi hijau, serta evaluasi terhadap teori dan praktik yang telah ada, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana ekonomi hijau dapat memainkan peran penting dalam pemulihan ekonomi dan menyelesaikan masalah multilateral, termasuk krisis lingkungan, ketimpangan sosial, dan transisi energi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa ekonomi hijau merupakan pendekatan global yang mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan, pengurangan kemiskinan, dan pemerataan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan kebijakan-kebijakan dan sistem pendidikan vokasi atau kejuruan yang berlaku di Kroasia serta menganalisis kompetensi lulusan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik untuk bersaing dalam dunia kerja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan atau studi literatur. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi. Data bersumber dari berbagai artikel dan buku tentang pendidikan vokasi atau kejuruan terutama pendidikan vokasi di Kroasia yang telah direview oleh peneliti. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil review dari berbagai artikel yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan beberapa bahwa pendidikan di Kroasia termasuk dalam kategori sudah maju karena memiliki banyak mahasiswa peminat dari berbagai negara. Sistem pendidikan kejuruan di Kroasia diselenggarakan dalam program pendidikan tiga dan empat tahun. Ciri khas sistem tersebut adalah adanya sistem ganda persekolahan dengan penempatan kerja. Kroasia membangun jaringan 25 pusat regional kompetensi untuk mempromosikan keunggulan dalam VET. Kompetensi lulusan pendidikan vokasi di Kroasia ditargetkan pada salah satu industri yang profesional dan memusatkan sumber daya pada persiapan profesional semi-terampil yang siap untuk masuk ke dunia kerja dan melakukan pekerjaan sesuai keahlian mereka. Selain itu kemampuan berpikir kritis dan menguasai teknologi menjadi elemen integral dari pemikiran konstruktivis dan juga dimensi yang paling dominan untuk dikembangkan pada pendidikan vokasi di Kroasia.
