Abstract

The high level of industrial development in Indonesia is parallel to population growth which has an impact on changes in land use. Green Open Space or RTH is the smallest part of an area in a city or district which is used not only as an aesthetic area but also as a green area as a place for community activities with a health connotation. Green open areas in Karanganyar Regency have not yet reached the applicable standards by Karanganayar Regency Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2022 concerning the Management of Green Open Spaces. The research method uses qualitative descriptive and data collection techniques by interviewing various data sources, conducting direct observations in the field, library research, documentation. Government websites and Instagram, transparency, and accountability, access to information through local government websites, and reporting in the annual LKPJ, decentralization is not yet strong enough but decision-makers are still the authorities and institutions and agencies, do not have their own RTH institutions, but each section carries out duties according to its main duties, access to law enforcement, complaints are submitted on the online public application and complaint service website, and the open spaces of Karanganyar Regency can be accessed by the public. The overall analysis is quite good, but several aspects are less than optimal, namely decentralization. So there needs to be innovation from the Karanganyar Regency government.

Abstract

This review examines the impact of assessing 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, in higher education institutions. Through a narrative analysis of recent literature, the study identifies diverse assessment methodologies and their effectiveness in fostering skill development. Findings suggest that while innovative assessment practices can enhance skill acquisition, challenges remain in aligning these practices with traditional educational frameworks. The review highlights the necessity for institutions to adopt a holistic approach that integrates 21st-century skill assessment into curriculum design and pedagogy. It concludes with recommendations for educators to embrace flexible, competency-based assessments and for policymakers to support the development of frameworks that recognize and reward the acquisition of 21st-century skills. This study underscores the importance of evolving assessment practices to prepare students for the demands of the modern workforce, suggesting directions for future research in optimizing assessment strategies for 21st-century skills in higher education.

Abstract

The Simpang Kelayang – Lubuk Sitarak road section plays a crucial role in facilitating the distribution of goods and services within the regency. Assessing the road's functional adequacy from a technical standpoint is essential to identify its fitness and determine the reasons for any functional deficiencies. The analysis of road functional tests involves measuring deviations from field conditions against technical standards, including geometric road technicalities, pavement structure, complementary building structures, spatial utilization, traffic management, and road equipment. The method utilized divides road segments according to the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 11/PRT/M/2010. Results indicate that the Simpang Kelayang – Lubuk Sitarak road section (STA 0+000 – STA 2+010) falls into the category of conditional functional fitness (LS), indicating suitability for operation but requiring recommended technical improvements. Generally, the lack of road functional adequacy in this section stems from failure to meet technical standards in road technical aspects.
