Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of postgraduate students of Sunan Giri University Surabaya in teaching PAI material. This research used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Researchers conducted a process of collecting, reducing, and interpreting/concluding data, then testing the validity of the data through triangulation techniques. The results showed that 1) many students understand the definition of the Qur'an and the definition of revelation in detail so that students are able to understand the similarities and differences between the Qur'an and revelation itself and the relationship between the two, can interpret the content of the Qur'an based on the names that have been explained and can conclude that Allah proclaimed himself in sending down the Qur'an. 2) Factors determining teacher success include the importance of applying theory in a real context, increasing teacher competence aimed at cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects and professional teachers are required to always develop themselves in line with advances in science, technology and art.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of learning methods playing Question Card media as an alternative solution to increase student motivation and learning activeness in Indonesian Language Lessons on Descriptive Text material in VII grade junior high school students. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study found that the use of question card media game method can motivate students to be actively involved in learning. This method places students as the center of learning and the teacher acts as a facilitator. The question card media game method also trains students' skills in communication, collaboration and creative thinking. Based on the formative test results obtained, namely 21 students or around 87.5% of students obtained scores above the minimum completeness criteria and only 3 students or 12.5% of students still obtained scores below the minimum completeness criteria, cooperative learning using the question card media game method is believed to be used as an interactive method in learning at the Junior High Level. This method can also be applied to various subjects by adjusting the characteristics of the material, the characteristics of the students and the characteristics of the class where this method will be used.

Abstract

The lack of application of learning media causes learning objectives to be not easily achieved, so it is necessary to develop creative and innovative learning media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Android-based Flashcard learning media. The resulting application is in the form of a file with an .apk extension and is installed on a smartphone with an Android named ARASH V (Arabic Flashcard class V). The development of learning media based on Android uses the RnD (Research and Development) method by adapting the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were students of class V MI. Data collection using pre-test and post-test in one group design. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis method. From the results of observations of student activities while using the media and obtained the results of the average pretest score of 34.17 and the posttest average value of 78.33. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the Android-based Flashcard learning media is declared effective for use in learning Arabic vocabulary. The implication of this research is to increase learning motivation, making it easier for students to memorize Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Learning methods are approaches or strategies used by teachers to deliver subject matter to students. The question and answer method encouraged students to be directly involved, appear brave, and confident when giving answers. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of UNSURI graduate students in providing teaching about Islamic Religious Education material to UNSURI undergraduate students. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Researchers conducted a process of collecting, reducing, and concluding data, then testing the validity of the data through triangulation techniques. The results showed that to improve effective learning, the right strategy is needed so that learning can run optimally and effectively. The use of question and answer methods used by graduate students greatly affects the effectiveness of learning. Interactions carried out by postgraduate students and undergraduate students in learning can stimulate the cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities of undergraduate students.

Abstract

Problems in schools about understanding vocabulary, especially Arabic vocabulary, have until now become a problem in Islamic-based schools. Because students feel objections and difficulties in learning vocabulary in learning Arabic. The purpose of this study is to increase students' understanding of vocabulary through the listen for lies games method. This study uses quantitative research methods with experimental types. The experimental design used is a pre-experimental design with the type of one group pretest posttest. To collect data, the methods used are test, observation, and documentation. Hypothesis testing and research analysis using normality test, T-test, and F test (Anova). Based on the T-test, the average value of the pretest of students is 54.6667 with a minimum score of 20 and a maximum of 100. While the posttest average value is 90.333 with a minimum score of 70 and a maximum value of 100. This shows that there is an escalation in students' understanding of vocabulary. using the listen for lies games method. Based on the F test, the value of sig 0.018 <0.05, then the effect of the listen for lies games method on students' understanding of vocabulary.
