Abstract

Jalan Arafura in Merauke Regency is an access road often passed by the general public to carry out their daily activities that should be in good condition. However, many of these roads were damaged, be they heavily, moderately, or lightly damaged. This study aimed to determine the type of damage to the asphalt surface and the value of asphalt damage on Jalan Arafura. The process of evaluating the level of road damage is calculated using the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method. Data collection uses a survey method, and the data that has been collected includes measuring road dimensions and measuring road damage. Data collection was carried out on Jalan Arafura STA 0+035 - STA 0+525 with a length of 525 meters. The results showed that the road damage on Jalan Arafura included loose grains, holes, longitudinal cracks, transverse cracks, collapse, block cracks, and side cracks. Based on calculations using the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method, the road condition value for Jalan Arafura is 6.6, which classifies the level of damage to the failed road pavement.

Abstract

The increase in traffic volume is a problem that causes congestion of asection of road, especially on urban roads. The problem of congestion points generally occurs at intersections, which can be found at the intersection of four Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Panembahan Bandala, and Jalan Basuki Rahmat which have the potential to cause accidents, queues for traffic jams and delays. The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not it is necessary to install traffic lights at the intersection. The secondary data used are ketapang regency penduduk data and a map of the research location. Primary data were obtained from direct observations in the field through geometric surveys and traffic volume surveys on Thursdays representing weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays representing holidays. Analysis data using MKJI1997. On weekdays, the afternoon capacity value (C) was2,794.13 smp/hour, traffic flow (Q) was 2.376,4 smp/hour, degree of saturation (DS) 0.85, queue opportunity (QP) of 57,40%-29,04%. On Sunday, the afternoon peak with a capacity value (C) of 2,948,14 smp/h, traffic flow(Q) of 2.680,4 smp/hour, degree of saturation (DS) 0.91, queue odds (QP) of 65,53%-33,22%.The results of the analysis at the Ketapang City Park intersection need to be carried out planning for the installation of traffic lights because it has exceeded 750 vehicles/hour for 8 hours which is one of the criteria for installing a traffic light signaling device (APILL).

Abstract

A road segment is a path that aims to pass traffic from one place to another. Good road pavement construction conditions must be able to fulfill functional requirements, namely providing a sense of security and comfort as well as minimum travel time for road users. This study aims to analyze the traffic performance on the Cirebon - Sumber road, then plan improvements to the pavement and road geometry to improve traffic performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI), then planning pavement and widening based on the current LHR using the 2017 Pavement Design Manual (MDP) method. In order to accommodate vehicle volumes of up to 25 next year, the road width is planned to be 11 meters, namely 5.5 m for each lane with a 2/2 UD road type. From the results of calculating the thickness of the rigid pavement using the 2017 method (MDP), a pavement thickness of 28.5 cm is obtained and can accommodate the number of passing vehicles with the degree of sturation of 0.63 with Level of Service C (Stable Flow).

Abstract

The laboratory has an important role in supporting academic/non-academic activities, especially at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon. Along with the development of departments at the Faculty of Engineering, it is necessary to increase laboratory facilities are needed which are designed separately to facilitate educational activities. This study aims to plan and design the structure of the Electrical Engineering Laboratory and Urban Regional Planning Engineering building with a reinforced concrete structure type consisting of 4 floors with a floor height of 4 m. This building was built on Jl.Perjuangan (Additional Building Area), Sunyaragi, Kec. Kesambi, Cirebon City with a hard soil type which according to the earthquake resistance planning regulations for buildings (SNI 1726-2019) is included in the seismic design category D. The design of this building uses a special moment resisting frame system (SRPMK). The structural planning of this building includes plates, beams, columns and foundations following the reinforced concrete structural regulations (SNI 2847-2019).
