Abstract

This study examines the conceptual foundations, pedagogical approaches, and developmental trends in Adaptive Physical Education and Sport (APES) as a multidimensional system supporting individuals with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities. Using a mixed theoretical–analytical methodology, the research synthesizes international frameworks, neurophysiological evidence, pedagogical models, and applied practices to explore how adaptive sport contributes to functional rehabilitation, psychomotor development, and social inclusion. Findings demonstrate that APES is not merely a compensatory form of physical activity but a scientifically grounded system promoting neuroplasticity, emotional resilience, motor independence, and quality of life. Modern adaptive sport, supported by technological innovations such as assistive devices, motion analysis tools, and digital feedback systems, creates new opportunities for personalized instruction. The study concludes that APES represents a strategic component of inclusive education and public health, requiring advanced instructor training, evidence-based methodologies, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Recommendations are provided for enhancing adaptive sport programs particularly in emerging educational environments.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of modern training technologies in improving the preparation of beginner tennis players during the initial development stage. Tennis is a highly complex coordination sport that requires synchronized technical execution, perceptual anticipation, physical readiness, and psychological stability. Traditional approaches focused mainly on repetitive drilling and isolated stroke practice prove insufficient for meeting the evolving demands of contemporary athlete development. This research therefore adopts a comprehensive theoretical–analytical methodology to explore technologically enhanced training methods, including progressive equipment modification, video analysis tools, wearable motion sensors, perceptual-cognitive training systems, footwork technologies, and gamified learning environments. Findings reveal that low-compression balls, scaled courts, and simplified racket designs significantly facilitate early acquisition of biomechanically correct stroke mechanics. Visual feedback technology accelerates error detection, strengthens internal movement representations, and improves technique retention. Perceptual-cognitive systems enhance anticipation, decision-making speed, and reaction timing, while footwork technologies promote kinetic chain efficiency and movement economy. Gamification and motivational tools increase engagement and emotional resilience, improving long-term adherence to the sport. Conditioning technologies support functional strength, coordination, and injury prevention. The results underscore that modernizing beginner tennis instruction requires integrating technological literacy with pedagogical expertise. The study concludes that technologically informed training models offer superior effectiveness, sustainability, and developmental advantages for novice players. Such innovations form the foundation for long-term athlete development, preventing early technical errors, enhancing motivation, and enabling smoother progression into advanced stages of tennis performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the modernization of training technologies for beginner athletes in kurash, focusing on the initial preparation stage where fundamental technical, physical, tactical, and psychological foundations are established. As a national style of upright wrestling originating from Central Asia, kurash requires rapid balance adjustment, precise gripping actions, explosive force generation, and refined biomechanical control. Traditional kurash training methods heavily emphasize repeated throwing drills and general strength work, often overlooking motor learning principles and individualized adaptation for beginners. Using a theoretical–analytical research design, this study synthesizes findings from kurash pedagogy, biomechanics, motor control, and contemporary training technologies to identify effective developmental strategies. The results show that progressive training technologies—such as visual feedback systems, movement analysis tools, dynamic balance training, modified kurash tasks, reaction and anticipation drills, and coordination-based conditioning—significantly enhance beginners’ technical acquisition, movement stability, and tactical understanding. The study concludes that integrating modern technologies with traditional kurash methodology offers a more efficient, safer, and scientifically grounded pathway for developing novice kurash athletes, forming a strong foundation for future competitive performance.

Abstract

Artistic gymnastics is a complex coordination sport demanding exceptional strength, mobility, balance, neuromuscular control, spatial awareness, and precise technical execution. The initial stage of preparation plays a decisive role in shaping motor habits, psychological readiness, injury resistance, and long-term performance potential. This study analyzes modern training technologies and pedagogical strategies designed to improve the development of beginner gymnasts. Drawing from international literature, Russian scientific schools, and Central Asian methodological traditions, the paper identifies the most effective approaches to training novice gymnasts using technology-assisted feedback, modular skill progressions, flexibility enhancement systems, vestibular training, biomechanical modeling, and athlete-centered pedagogy. Results show that early exposure to motor coordination exercises integrated with biomechanical cues accelerates the acquisition of essential skills such as handstands, cartwheels, basic acrobatics, balances, and transitions. Visual feedback using slow-motion analysis and movement diagrams improves technical accuracy and promotes self-regulated learning. Vestibular stimulation through trampolines, balance beams, and rotational platforms enhances spatial awareness and air sense. Psychological readiness is improved through gamification, progressive exposure to fear-inducing elements, and emotionally supportive coaching styles. Flexibility development using hybrid stretching methods significantly strengthens performance potential while reducing injury risk. Overall, the study concludes that combining traditional gymnastics pedagogy with modern technology-supported training creates a high-efficiency developmental framework. This integrated model fosters long-term athlete retention, reduces technical errors, and accelerates gymnastic skill acquisition. Therefore, scientific, individualized, and psychologically supportive training systems are essential for preparing beginner gymnasts to progress safely and successfully toward advanced stages of gymnastics performance.

Abstract

Obesity is a condition characterized by an imbalance between energy intake and energy expenditure over an extended period. Obesity and overweight are generally caused by unhealthy lifestyles, high sugar and fat dietary patterns, and lack of physical activity. Insufficient exercise is directly associated with an increase in Body Mass Index (BMI), a condition commonly found among employees and lecturers within university environments. A preliminary survey conducted by the Health Promoting University (HPU) reported that 58.5% of respondents at Nusa Cendana University do not engage in regular exercise, while data from the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) showed that 13.6% of Indonesians over the age of 18 are obese. One effective management strategy for overweight and obesity is walking exercise, which can increase basal metabolic rate through ATP combustion, lipogenesis, and muscle mass enhancement, leading to higher heat production and resulting in weight reduction. This study aimed to examine the effect of walking exercise on BMI among overweight and obese employees at Nusa Cendana University. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was applied, involving 20 participants in the intervention group and 20 in the control group. The results showed a significant change in BMI in the intervention group (p = 0.034) based on a paired sample t-test. It is concluded that walking exercise has a significant effect on reducing BMI among overweight and obese employees at Nusa Cendana University.

Abstract

The researcher used an experimental method using a design of two equivalent groups with pre- and post-tests, as it is appropriate for the nature of the problem and aligns with the objectives of the study. The research population consisted of youth volleyball players aged (12–16 years) registered in the sports academies of Al-Anbar Sports Club, totaling (16) players. The most important conclusions were that the motor–neural exercises used in the training program significantly improved the skill response speed of the experimental group, which was reflected in their performance on the post-tests, particularly in the moving-ball response test. The motion-path tracking exercises enhanced motor accuracy and visual–motor coordination among the experimental group, leading to better execution of fundamental volleyball skills.

Abstract

This experimental study investigates the effect of ball-assistes aerobic training on reaction speed and passing accuracy under pressure among young football players. The study population was purposively selected from 145 players from youth clubs in Diyala Governorate during the 2024 sports season. The study sample consisted of 22 players from Al-Khalis Sports Club. A random draw was conducted to divide the players into two equal groups: an experimental group (11 players) and a control group (11 players). The most important issues of this study showed how ball-assisted aerobic training led to a clear improvement in reaction speed and passing accuracy under pressure among young football players. Furthermore, the most important recommendation is to regularly include ball-assisted aerobic training programs in youth training programs. With a focus on training for speed of motor response and accuracy of passing under pressure to improve technical and skillful performance in matches.

Abstract

The exercises contribute to increasing the range of motion of the working joints and increasing the elasticity of the muscles involved in the performance, taking into account each jumper's level in terms of distance and time. The second point relates to nutritional deficiencies, due to many coaches focusing on the physical aspect of the jumper in training sessions compared to the nutritional aspect, which is the foundation of the physical aspect. Furthermore, athletes do not understand the importance of nutritional supplements as much as they understand physical exercises. To improve performance efficiency and achievement in the triple jump competition, the researchers prepared unsteady strength exercises and EAS supplementation for triple jumpers randomly  (by lottery) from clubs in the Middle Euphrates region, the study population. The jumpers were divided into three  (experimental) groups of  (5) jumpers each. The objective was to develop the efficiency of the jump and its execution. After conducting the pre-measurements, the unsteady strength exercises prepared by the researchers were performed, and the supplement  (EAAs) was taken for a period of  (6) weeks at a rate of  (3) units per week. Then the post-measurements were conducted, and the results were positive, as it was shown that the unsteady strength exercises and the supplement  (EAAs) together had a positive effect on developing the efficiency of performance, motor transfer, and achievement of the study sample.

Abstract

The research problem revolved around the blocking skill in volleyball from position number (3), performed by the player known as the (Middle Blocker). The core issue is this player's inability to stop the attack of the opposing team's (Middle Hitter) to score a direct point or to sufficiently reduce the ball's speed. Often, the ball deflects off parts of the blocker's fingers and goes out of bounds, leading directly to a lost point. Additionally, most points scored by the opposing team resulted from executing the quick spike attack from position (3) by their (Middle Hitter). The study aimed to: (1) Extract the peak instantaneous force generated by the legs from three different stances at the moment of take-off during block execution. (2) Extract the maximum vertical height of the body's center of mass during the flight phase. (3) Find the correlation between these biomechanical variables and the accuracy of the block in youth volleyball players. Three types of tests were conducted on the study sample, which consisted of two specialized (Middle Blocker) players.

Abstract

This research aims to study the effect of interval training on developing endurance of skill performance during long rounds in table tennis. The researcher adopted the experimental approach by designing two groups (experimental and control), and implementing a training program based on a pattern of time repetitions and active and rest periods, in line with the specificity of continuous performance in open-time rounds. The research sample consisted of (20) players from the advanced youth category at Babylon Sports Club, aged between 17 and 19 years. The training program was implemented for a period of (6) weeks, with three training units per week. A special test was used to measure skill performance endurance, designed by the researcher. This test relies on executing a continuous series of serving, receiving, and hitting within a specified time, while calculating the number of errors and the time of decline in performance quality. The results of the statistical analysis showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in the skill endurance index compared to the control group, confirming the effectiveness of the interval training method in developing players' ability to maintain the quality of technical performance during long rounds. The study recommends including this type of training in advanced player preparation, and conducting extensive studies on different age groups and technical levels to measure its impact in real-world playing situations.
