Abstract

Class management is a series of strategies, actions, and procedures implemented by teachers to create, manage, and maintain an effective and conducive learning environment. Effective strategies in classroom management are essential because they help create a conducive and structured learning environment, which ultimately improves the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This study aims to understand how good classroom management, through the arrangement of the physical environment, behavior management, the use of varied teaching methods, and effective communication between teachers, students, and parents, can create a conducive learning environment and support student academic achievement. Effective classroom management plays an important role in improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools. This article discusses various strategies that can be implemented by teachers to create a conducive learning environment, including the physical arrangement of the classroom, the application of consistent rules, and the management of student behavior. In addition, the use of varied learning methods, such as discussions, games, and the use of technology, can maintain student interest and facilitate better understanding. Differentiated approaches to teaching, which take into account individual learning needs of students, as well as good communication with parents, help to increase student participation and academic achievement. Good classroom management also emphasizes the importance of enforcing discipline balanced with emotional support, creating a safe and comfortable learning environment. The implementation of effective classroom management strategies contributes to increasing student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of social media use on the behavior of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is qualitative research with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This research collects secondary data from various journals and related literature. The research results show that social media has both positive and negative impacts on student behavior. Positive impacts include ease of access to information, increased creativity, and support for social interaction and learning. However, negative impacts such as impaired concentration, decreased quality of direct interactions, potential for cyberbullying, and exposure to inappropriate content were also found. In an educational context, collaboration between teachers and parents is very important to direct the use of social media wisely, in order to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the benefits. This research recommends the need for intensive supervision and digital education for elementary school students to encourage positive and responsible use of social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether the use of the inquiry method can enhance the activities of students and teachers in the PKn subject for fourth-grade students at Kuta Rentang Elementary School. Another objective is to find out whether question-based learning can improve the learning outcomes of PKn for fourth-grade students at Kuta Rentang Elementary School. The research results show that the average teacher activity was 2.7 in cycle I and 3.7 in cycle II, both of which fall into the very good category. The average student activity in cycle I was 2.37, and the average student activity in cycle II was 3.37, both of which also fall into the very good category. The research results show that the average teacher activity was 2.7 in cycle I and 3.7 in cycle II, both of which fall into the very good category. The average student activity in cycle I was 2.37, and the average student activity in cycle II was 3.37, both of which also fall into the very good category. The results of cycle II indicate that the average learning outcome of the 4th-grade students in PKn lessons is 76.25. This indicates that the students' skills are already above the determined KKM, which is 70. The number of students who have completed the task is 7 students with a percentage of 87.5%. Meanwhile, the number of students who have not completed the task is 1 student with a percentage of 12.5%. The highest score achieved by students in the second cycle stage is 90, and the lowest score is 45.

Abstract

The family environment is very influential on the development of children's speech. Early childhood speech delay requires special treatment and more attention from families, especially parents, in order to improve children's language development, so that children are able to communicate well in the family and community environment. The existence of interaction activities between family members, especially for children aged 3-5 years through communication patterns and stimuli, will determine the basis for providing speaking skills to children. This study uses quantitative with purposive sampling method, namely sampling with certain criteria or considerations. Where researchers want to know the relationship between the variables studied, namely The influence of the environment and family communication patterns on the occurrence of speech delay in children in Gampong Lambaroangan, Darussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency. The population of this study were children who experienced speech delay with a sample of 60 people obtained from observations through Puskesmas and Posyandu activities. Through this sample, 72.1% of fathers were found to be early adults with 61.0% secondary education level and had 32.0% occupation as traders, while 82.2% of mothers were early adults with 64.7% secondary education level and only 40.3% as housewives. Also through the results of the study obtained a significance value smaller than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) and a correlation coefficient value of 0.632. Based on the results of the data obtained from the analysis conducted, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the environment and family communication patterns on the occurrence of speech delay in children in Gampong Lambaroangan, Darussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency.

Abstract

Prevention of accidents for over-height vehicles that will pass through tunnels or underpasses is very necessary. This prevention is done by providing an early warning to over-height vehicles. Early warning is carried out using a system that is able to detect oversized vehicles from the tunnel or underpass height allowed to be passed. This system must have high accuracy and be resistant to various environmental conditions. Interference in detection can occur due to rain, wind, lack of light, night time, various backgrounds such as walls, trees, and two-way roads. This research examines the durability of computer vision-based over-height vehicle detection methods against environmental condition influences. The methods used are Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) and blob detection. Samples were taken in 3 different location conditions and detected in 5 frame variations. The results of this research show that GMM and blob detection is excellent performance and resilience against environmental conditions. This method can detect over-height vehicles with an accuracy reaching 100% with the number of frames at 5 and 7. It is expected that this detection method can provide more accurate early warnings for over-height vehicles, thereby increasing road user safety.

Abstract

This research is aimed at developing project-based learning teaching materials in research results study courses to improve students' abilities in compiling scientific work. This research is developmental research using a modified Research and Development (R & D) model. This research is limited to the preliminary study stage, which includes literature study, field survey, initial product preparation followed by validation of product by experts (expert judgment) and product revision. The teaching materials developed consist of the lesson plan, student activity sheets, and assessment of project product. The research data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The research results showed that the teaching materials developed, namely the lesson plan, student activity sheets, and assessment of project product were categorized as very valid, with an average validity score of 3.80, 3.81 and 3.66, respectively. Thus, these teaching materials can be implemented in learning research results study courses to improve students' abilities in compiling scientific work.
