Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload on the performance of employees in the Production department at PT Soraya Bedsheet Pekanbaru. This analysis uses independent variables, namely workload and dependent variables, namely employee performance. The sample of this study was 70 production employees. The data analysis technique used Simple Linear Regression analysis with hypothesis testing of statistical tests, T-test. The results of this study indicate that workload has a significant effect on the performance of production employees at PT Soraya Bedsheet Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotion on sales of oreo products at PT. Mondelez Indonesia Pekanbaru. The population in this research is shop customers of PT. Mondelez Indonesia Pekanbaru totaling 287 people. The sample in this study amounted to 74 shop customers with a sampling technique using the slovin formula. The type of data used is primary data sourced from questionnaires. Data analysis using simple linear regression. The result of the regression equation is Y = 8.541 + 1.106 X. From the results of the t test, it is obtained that t count (14.861) > t table (1.993) and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that promotion has a significant effect on sales. The result of the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.754. This shows that sales (the dependent variable) are affected by 75.4% by promotions (the independent variable), while the remaining 24.6% are influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Motivation, Discipline and Work Environment on employee performance at PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh. The sample in this study was 45 employees of Afdeling 1 PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh. Based on the research results, the correlation value (R) is 0.934. This figure shows that there is a strong link between the independent variable and the dependent variable at PTPN IV Regional III. Meanwhile, the R Square value is 0.872, which shows that Motivation, Work Discipline and Work Environment as a whole have an effect of 87.2% on the performance of PTPN IV Regional III employees. Partially motivation with a significance value of 0.013 is smaller than alpha 0.05. So motivation has a significant effect on the performance of Afdeling I PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh employees. Work Discipline with a significance value of 0.038 is smaller than alpha 0.05. Simultaneously, with a significance of 0.000 which is smaller than alpha 0.05, it means that the variables Motivation, Work Discipline and Work Environment simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Afdeling I PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh employees. The multiple linear regression equation is as follows: Y = 0,984 + 0,299X1 + 0,241X2 + 0,402X3 + ε

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of digital communication in improving business efficiency by focusing on the use of digital communication tools such as email, chat, and collaboration platforms. The research object consisted of 10 STIE Ganesha students of the employee class who were selected as respondents to provide insight into their experience in using digital communication tools in the context of their work. This research was carried out in May 2024 using a qualitative approach, where data was collected through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to identify key patterns and themes related to the effectiveness of digital communication compared to traditional communication methods. The results showed that digital communication tools significantly improved operational efficiency for working students, allowing them to complete tasks more quickly and organized. However, the findings also reveal significant challenges, such as information overload and notification distractions, which can reduce productivity and focus. Therefore, while digital communication offers many advantages, it is important for individuals to develop effective management strategies to address these negative potentials, such as notification management and wise time allocation. The implications of this study underscore the importance of a deep understanding of digital communication tools and their effective application to maximize productivity in the modern business environment.

Abstract

Goods transportation is a medium and means of moving goods to their destination using the means of transport, and the unloading/unloading of the means of transport, whether carrying passengers or goods. The parties involved in transportation, one of which is sea cargo expedition (EMKL), is the business of handling documents and cargo that will be transported by ship or cargo that originates from ships that are transported and brought from the port container yard (CY) to the unloading warehouse/containeir freight station ( CFS) or carrying goods via container from the loading/freight container warehouse station (CFS) kei container yard (CY) port, PT. Elang Sriwijaya Perkasa Palembang is one of the companies that operates in the field of EIMKL (Sea Freight Transport Services) providing cargo transportation services, providing services for transporting goods via containers as well as loading and unloading. For this reason, the Sea Freight Shipping Company (EIMKL) is responsible for the safety of goods, delays in the arrival of goods, damage and loss of goods transported by trucks when they are transported out of the port container yard (CY), except for damage caused by the sender. on the item itself caused by several factors, whether weather, circumstances or when carrying out activities of stuffing or stripping goods into containers at the loading warehouse/containeir freight station (CFS). In this paper, the writing methods used are literature research and observational research at the source by carrying out activities in the field during field practice at PT. Elang Sriwijaya Perkasa Palembang and related agencies such as warehouses for loading stuffing goods, warehouses for unloading stripping goods, and container stacking yards/depots.
