Abstract

Indonesia, with its rich cultural heritage and philosophy, has many traditional art patterns and techniques on fashion, especially Batik, which UNESCO declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2008. However, global competition is eroding this ancient legacy, as modern consumer behavior tends to prefer foreign products. Brand experience has emerged as a source of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Hence this valuable experience motivating customers to embrace the national heritage as a major part of the country’s identity on a daily basis. The cultural heritage of Batik plays a key role in shaping their identity. Despite the growth of stalls and the fading country of origin image of Batik, it is crucial to maintain the national heritage product. This study aims to analyze the relationship between product authenticity as a country of origin and brand experience offerings on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty to sustain the national heritage product. The target population consists of customer of Batik, aged at least 17 years old, who have purchased at least two pieces in the last six months at a high price point of branding. The research methodology involves SEM-PLS with purposive sampling technique. The results of the descriptive indicator scores indicate that brand experience influences brand loyalty through visual appearance, and customer satisfaction is influenced by proper brand experience that evokes customer’ set. The country of origin influences customer satisfaction through brand experience, as Indonesia’s country of origin for Batik shapes customer brand associations. Additionally, brand experience influences brand loyalty through customer satisfaction via ethnocentric consumer attitude, and the country of origin affects brand loyalty through brand experience as a catalyst for brand purchase intention leveraging Indonesia’s international heritage reputation as the origin of Batik in global competition.

Abstract

This research paper explores the distinctions between reflective and formative measurement models. The two commonly used methodologies in social science research for measuring latent variables. Reflective models believe that a latent variable causes its indicators, whereas formative models see the indicators contributing to the latent variable. The research paper explores each model's theoretical foundation focusing on their applicability in research domains such as marketing, psychology, and organizational behavior. In addition, the research paper analyzes these two models help in defining relationships in observable variable & latent variable such a nature of construct, causality & type of indicators. The research paper also focuses on the statistical approaches used to evaluate both models, including factor analysis, structural equation modeling, and path analysis etc. The Research paper will help researchers in identifying measurement models to improve the insights in identifying the model relationship among measurable & latent variable, and way to define construct validity and related phenomena.

Abstract

The Korean Wave attracted many tourists to South Korea, generating high revenues through the entertainment industry . The popularity of Korean media influenced food culture, hairstyles, make-up type, beauty standards and coating style . In Iran, the wave also partially penetrated . Beautiful actors and singers became popular with the public, which led many manufacturers to work in the field of Korean food production, Korean restaurant construction and Korean fashion . In recent years there were a number of South Korean immigrants from Iran. Due to the popularity of the entertainment industry, many Iranian immigrants living in Korea offer Korean entertainment, cosmetics and food products through social networks and are selling them, although in Iran, Korean products are not represented due to sanctions. In this study, I looked at the indicators that affect the sale of Korean goods, and after looking at the effectiveness and absence of each, I ranked one using multiple regression . Five main factors were ultimately identified, with celebrity popularity ranking first, followed by the celebrities' physical attractiveness, and the third priority being that the celebrities be actual consumers of the advertised product . The fourth priority was about celebrity credibility and The fifth and final priority is to match the celebrity with the advertised product.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach to explore the lived experiences of female entrepreneurs in Greater Malang, focusing on their motivations for starting a business and the challenges they face in sustaining it. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with women business owners and analysed through three stages: first-order concepts, second-order themes, and aggregate dimensions. The results reveal five main motivational dimensions: altruism, cultural heritage, economic orientation, pleasure, and self-empowerment. On the other hand, challenges are classified into internal and external categories, including work-life balance, lack of technical skills, health concerns, limited funding, role conflict, and lack of public recognition. This research highlights the unique lived experiences of women entrepreneurs, particularly the way they navigate social expectations and resource limitations while pursuing business sustainability. The findings contribute to the broader understanding of women’s entrepreneurship and provide insights for supportive policy development.

Abstract

The present research explores risk mitigation in the sterile linen provision process at the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) of RSUD Dr. Soetomo, a leading referral hospital in East Indonesia. Addressing operational vulnerabilities in the sterilization process, this study adopts the House of Risk (HOR) methodology to proactively identify and minimize risks that may hinder service delivery. Utilizing a qualitative single-case study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with eight informants directly or indirectly involved in the CSSD operational workflow. The analysis identified 13 critical risk agents, with boiler malfunction emerging as the highest-priority risk (ARPj: 2166), followed by inadequate implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (ARPj: 1374), and goods lift malfunction (ARPj: 1352). In the second phase of HOR, key preventive actions were proposed, including SOP Control, Monitoring & Internal Audit, Training & Development, and Digitalization. Among these, SOP Control was identified as the most effective strategy based on mitigation priority (ETDk: 44380.5). This study offers a structured framework to improve risk management and operational resilience in hospital sterilization services.

Abstract

This research examined the association between digital leadership capabilities and artificial intelligence literacy among fintech professionals, examining how human-centric leadership dimensions correlate with AI competency components and their predictive relationships. A quantitative correlational design was employed with 76 financial technology professionals across diverse roles and organizations. Data collection employed the validated Digital Leadership Scale, which evaluates seven human-centered dimensions, along with the AI Literacy Scale that examines four essential components. Significant positive correlations were found between all digital leadership dimensions and AI literacy components, with an overall strong relationship between constructs. Operations managers showed the highest digital leadership levels while data engineers demonstrated superior AI literacy. Regression modeling demonstrated that digital leadership dimensions together accounted for 28.3% of the variance observed in AI literacy, though individual dimensions were non-significant due to multicollinearity, suggesting digital leadership functions as a holistic construct. Results indicate that comprehensive digital leadership development programs addressing multiple dimensions simultaneously may enhance AI literacy more effectively than isolated skill-building initiatives. The validated relationship between digital leadership and AI literacy provides evidence-based support for integrated leadership development strategies in technology-intensive environments, particularly benefiting fintech organizations navigating AI-driven transformation challenges.

Abstract

The Lapis Tugu Kediri is a SME facing several waste-related issues that reduce its productivity. Using a qualitative approach, the research consists of two phases. First, a value stream mapping of the production flow is created and analyzed using value stream mapping tools. Next, a fishbone diagram is developed to identify the sources of waste before proposing improvements. The research revealed several types of waste in the production process, with the most significant being overprocessing and unnecessary motion. The value stream mapping highlighted specific sections where waste occurs, while the fishbone diagram identified root causes such as the absence of a timer in the baking section and an unqualified production table. Based on these findings, targeted improvements were proposed to eliminate waste and optimize the production flow. The research has been validated using data triangulation at a single SME, providing deep insight and information. However, further research on other SMEs or using a different methodology within the same SME is encouraged. Value stream mapping and fishbone diagram is a useful combination in terms of analyzing waste in the SME scope. The validation of analyzing waste through value stream mapping and fishbone diagram is well-documented and original.
