Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential and challenges of implementing digital cash waqf in economic development in Indonesia, especially in supporting the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach, reviewing literature, journals, and secondary data related to the research theme. The results of the study show that digitalization of cash waqf facilitates the process of collecting and managing funds, increasing transparency, and expanding the reach of waqf through online platforms. The collected waqf funds can be allocated productively to support MSMEs, education, health, and social infrastructure, thereby contributing to economic growth and community welfare. However, the main challenges faced include low public literacy about productive waqf, limited human resource capacity in the management institution, and regulatory constraints and trust in digital platforms. To optimize the potential of digital cash waqf, collaboration between various parties and increased public education are needed so that this innovation can become a driving force for sustainable economic development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Waqf sukuk is an innovative sharia financial instrument that integrates sukuk and waqf principles to optimize community empowerment in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of waqf sukuk on community empowerment using a literature review method from various related literature, documents, and regulations. The findings indicate that waqf sukuk, particularly through the Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) scheme, plays a significant role in supporting the financing of sustainable social projects in education, health, and the economy, while also expanding the benefits of waqf beyond the religious sector. The issuance of CWLS in Indonesia has involved various nazhir institutions and distribution partners that channel returns for economic empowerment programs, scholarships, health facility development, and strengthening MSMEs. However, the optimization of waqf sukuk still faces challenges such as community literacy, management trans parency, regulation, and technology utilization. Therefore, enhancing understanding, cross-sector collabo ration, and comprehensive policy support are essential to maximize the potential of waqf sukuk as an economic empowerment instrument and to achieve sustainable development goals in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the implementation of the Hajj, there are various aspects that need to be fulfilled by the managing party (government) such as the transportation, consumption, and health sectors. Abstract

This study examines the concept of Sharia annuities in the management of pension funds through Sharia Financial Institution Pension Funds (DPLK Syariah) in Indonesia. DPLK Syariah has emerged as an alternative option for pension fund management that complies with Sharia principles, namely avoiding elements of riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling). The implementat ion of the Sharia annuity scheme is carried out in two main phases: the accumulation phase and the benefit payment phase, all of which utilize Sharia contracts such as wakalah bil ujrah and ijarah. This study employs a literature review method to explain the basic concept, scheme implementation, and the challenges faced in applying Sharia annuities in DPLK Syariah. The findings of this study indicate that although there is great potential for the development of Sharia annuities, challenges such as low public awareness of Sharia finance and the limited availability of halal investment instruments remain the main obstacles. Collaboration between the government, financial authorities, and industry players is needed to improve public understa nding and expand Sharia-compliant investment instruments so that the management of pension funds based on Sharia annuities can be carried out more effectively.

Abstract

This study analyses the receivables management system in Mudharabah financing in Sharia Financial Institutions (LKS) in Indonesia which has grown rapidly in recent years. Referring to the principle of people's economy in the 1945 Constitution, Islamic financing is a banking activity that involves collecting funds from the public such as giro, savings, deposits, to be channeled back to the community through financing or credit schemes. This research explores the effectiveness of the receivables management system, particularly in relation to the murabahah contract-a commonly used contract that is prone to risks, such as Non Performing Financing (NPF). This study uses the literature method to analyse the concept of murabahah, including its pillars, types, implementation in Islamic banking, as well as its influencing factors, including third-party funds (DPK) and profit margins. The results of the analysis are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the management of Mudharabah receivables in Islamic financial institutions and identify potential efficiency improvements, in line with sharia principles and the context of the Indonesian economy based on the principle of kinship.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of education and unemployment on poverty in Southeast Sulawesi during 2010–2025. The study uses a quantitative approach with annual time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The variables used include the poverty rate, average years of schooling, and the open unemployment rate. The analytical method applied is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine short-run and long-run relationships among variables. The results indicate the existence of a long-run relationship among education, unemployment, and poverty. Education has a significant negative effect on poverty in the long run, indicating that higher educational attainment contributes to poverty reduction. Meanwhile, unemployment has a positive but statistically insignificant effect on poverty. In the short run, lagged unemployment changes significantly affect poverty dynamics. Diagnostic and stability tests confirm that the ARDL-ECM model is statistically reliable and stable. These findings suggest that poverty reduction in Southeast Sulawesi should prioritize improving educational quality and human capital development, alongside more inclusive labor market policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of integrating contract transparency, authentic Sharia compliance, and business assistance programs on the satisfaction levels of micro-entrepreneurs in the Indonesian Sharia banking sector. Utilizing a deep thematic library research method, this analysis synthesizes empirical data from banking performance reports and literature to evaluate the effectiveness of services for the micro-sector. The research results indicate that contract transparency significantly reduces information asymmetry, while Sharia compliance acts as an ethical filter that builds spiritual loyalty. Business assistance programs, particularly those integrating Islamic leadership values, are proven to be catalysts for scaling up micro-enterprises. The synergy of these three factors, supported by fintech and blockchain innovations, creates a sustainable financial inclusion model. The implications of this study emphasize the importance for Sharia financial institutions to shift from being mere capital providers to strategic partners in developing an inclusive and equitable national halal ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the joint liability system in reducing non-performing loans and strengthening women’s economic empowerment within the PNM Mekaar program. The research employed a cross-sectional survey design involving 185 active respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and paired sample t-tests to examine the relationships among variables and changes in non-performing loan rates before and after the implementation of the system. The findings indicate that the joint liability system improved members’ repayment discipline by 87.6% and reduced the non-performing loan ratio from 8.3% to 2.1%. Social capital dimensions, including social networks, trust, and collective norms, were found to have a positive and significant effect on the system’s effectiveness (p < 0.05). In addition, financial literacy, mentoring quality, and consi stent supervision contributed to the program’s success. These findings highlight the importance of social capital in supporting microfinance sustainability and enhancing women’s economic empowerment.
