Jurnal Studi Ilmu Komunikasi (JSIKOM) adalah jurnal open access yang diterbitkan oleh Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi FISIP Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang terbit 3 kali dalam setahun pada bulan Januari, Mei dan September. Abstract

This research journal is entitled "Opinion of Internship Participants on Internal Constraints of Diskominfo West Bangka in Conveying Information through News". This study aims to describe the internal constraints of Diskominfo West Bangka in delivering information through news. This topic was chosen because the apprentices felt that it was not ideal, this condition made the West Bangka Discominfo need to be aware of and understand the obstacles experienced in conveying information so as to avoid the lack of coverage. The research method is descriptive and qualitative, through the researcher using data sources from interns as well as the authors of this study, using in-depth observations and interviews with three journalists from Diskominfo West Bangka. The results showed that the internal obstacles in the West Bangka Diskominfo were the lack of journalistic soft skills and the lack of human resources.

Abstract

In improving an employee's performance within the Work Units and Organizations under the auspices of the Department, it is necessary to carry out a knowledge that becomes an important guideline for employees at work. So that the creation of a Knowledge Worker is to work with the knowledge possessed. This study aims to describe how the efforts of the Knowledge Management institution or section in overcoming problems that occur within the company to share knowledge and the implementation of what is done from these persuasion efforts so that they can successfully motivate every Department in PT. Pusri to be interested in the existence of persuasion efforts carried out by Knowledge Management institutions. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative observation and interviews by observing the atmosphere of the area around the offices of the Knowledge Management institution. From the results and discussion, it was found that there were two persuasion efforts carried out by Knowledge Management in motivating the Departments to share knowledge, firstly optimizing the persuasive communication program through the LEAP program, the second delivering interesting messages through animated videos and flayers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is so that the public as well as television and radio station institutions can better understand the procedures in managing the structure and broadcasting system as well as to provide information and an invitation to the entire community to change their mindset and be more careful in watching TV broadcasts and listening to the radio. and report if there are illegal (illegal) tv or radio stations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and South Sumatra KPID documents or data. The subjects of the research are informants who have an interest in licensing and monitoring broadcast content at the South Sumatra KPID. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in order to organize broadcasting, one must obtain a license to organize broadcasts in accordance with the procedures and requirements for establishing a broadcasting institution and television and radio information must provide healthy broadcasts to the public because what is assumed will change their behavior. Broadcasting of broadcast content must comply with the Broadcasting Code of Conduct (P3) and Broadcast Program Standards (SPS).

Abstract

Nowadays, radio broadcast programs continue to strive to maintain their existence by trying several strategies to increase listeners, especially the millennial generation. However, young people today are starting to lose interest in listening to radio and are more interested in listening to music or looking for news using applications on smartphones such as YouTube, Instagram and other applications. LPP RRI Palembang as a forum for broadcasting information, news, and entertainment services for all levels of society throughout the South Sumatra region has 4 programs, including Pro 1 , Pro, 2, Pro 3, and Pro 4. LPP RRI Pro 2 is a broadcast center for young people's creativity which is also one of the radio broadcasters that has a strategy in increasing the existence of millennial listeners. The purpose of this study was to find out the strategy carried out by RRI Palembang in increasing the interest of millennial listeners in RRI PRO 2. This research method was descriptive qualitative, which was used to understand directly based on the facts how the RRI PRO 2 strategy in increasing the interest of millennial listeners in Palembang City. The results of this study show that there are various strategies used by RRI Palembang in increasing millennial listening interest in Palembang City towards Pro2 broadcasts, namely by broadcasting off air and on air, packaging interesting programs, and through streaming broadcasts on social media

Abstract

The development of technology that is growing rapidly as it is today has resulted in many changes in everyday human life that make it much easier. The existence of electronic mail is an example of the development of communication technology, electronic mail can help the process of sending letters become easier and faster, one example is the SISUMAKER application at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach by using case study research through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are focused on the important role of an electronic mail application in this agency environment so that the correspondence system becomes more effective and efficient in achieving goals in the office environment itself. The organizational communication process that takes place is the upward, downward, horizontal and cross communication pattern to be able to support a good work process among employees through SISUMAKER. However, the SISUMAKER application still makes the paperwork ineffective and efficient because the employees who handle the application are not optimal. The handling process in this application must be improved to make SISUMAKER make the correspondence at this agency effective and efficient.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to identify communication styles of women in leadership positions in water resource management offices in South Sumatra. By using gender rectostyle theory in research. The method is qualitative and descriptive in nature, using data collection techniques in interviews, observations, and documentary research. The results of this study showed that communication styles in women's leadership in the PSDA South Sumatra provincial office were divided into structured communication styles, similarity-based communication styles, dynamic (aggressive) communication styles, and liberating communication styles. indicates that you are using Similarity-based communication styles will be the most common. Mainly used by female executives.

Abstract

Organizational communication is a major alternative in establishing cooperation within the scope of the company's organization. With organizational communication, messages and information are more easily conveyed and understood by both parties concerned. This study aims to describe and explain the important role of personal organizational communication in the Finance Division of PT. Taspen Palembang in collaborating with the Regional Government. In this study using descriptive research methods with qualitative methods. The source of this research data comes from observations and interviews with informants. The secondary data sources come from literature studies, the company's official website, and official document archives. In addition, a theoretical approach is also carried out to facilitate researchers in reviewing problems, the approach uses phenomenological investigations. The results of this study indicate that the Finance Division of PT. Taspen Palembang uses formal and informal communication in collaborating with local governments. With this organizational communication, various obstacles that occur can be overcome, especially in the problem of paying premium bills by the Regional Government and KPPN. Apart from providing formal notification or billing, the Finance Division of PT. Taspen Palembang also communicates intensively through interpersonal communication from staff level employees to Regional Leaders

Abstract

The role of communication management in developing the company and how the company can overcome the problems that exist in the company's organization. This study aims to determine communication management in overcoming income uncertainty in the application of the Weighbridge Vina system at PT BGR Logistics Indonesia Palembang branch. As for companies that are specialized in digital-based logistics, which of course have an extensive network, integrated, competitive, reliable and trustworthy solutions, this is the vision of the company PT BGR logistics Indonesia which certainly has a plan through strong communication management. PT BGR Logistics Indonesia in communication management overcomes income uncertainty through the implementation of communication management functions in its implementation, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling, in which the goals of communication management can work. overcome the uncertainty of income that occurs in the Vina weighbridge application system. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, researchers find the object of the problem by reading various information, documentation or pictures, then thinking and seeing, then analyzing the activities of people around them and conducting interviews. The results show that the application of communication management at PT BGR Logistics Indonesia Palembang branch includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling in overcoming the problem of income uncertainty and can be resolved properly with the role of management. communication, and can find factors that affect the problems that occur such as miss-communication, busyness and piles of work that makes it unfocused in directing subordinates, obstacles in the Vina system application when recording double errors, incorrect input or typing caused by blackouts, shift change of weighbridge operator which is a change of focus in the system. Through the obstacles that were learned, then the strengthening of communication management gave results as a form of solving the problem of the difference in income between the Vina system application and SAP or Operational Recap. Through the 4 functions of communication management, which means that it states that the implementation and role of communication management in a company is very important, especially in the company PT BGR Logistics Indonesia Palembang branch, and continues to make communication management a tool to seek problem solving and direct company activities in order to realize goals in order to improve the quality of the company in any sector.

Abstract

The article intends to find out about the effective implementation of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) at the Department of Agriculture, Food Crops and Horticulture. This writing uses a qualitative descriptive method where this research activity will include an explanation of data input, data collection processes and data output. Basically SIMPEG is a process in processing employee data functionally or procedures and work rules per field in the Food Crops Agriculture Service. And Horticulture which will become information that will be useful for employees both at the district level and on other parties, one of which is the head office. The Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) at the Department of Agriculture, Food Crops and Horticulture is formed or made in order to change procedures or manual work rules into a procedure or digital work rules in certain sections while still emphasizing the existing system or integration in both. The Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) can also be used as a direction in making decisions made by the manager. Mpin.However, the implementation of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) at the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture is less effective due to a lack of understanding or guidance regarding the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) provided to employees at the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture.

Abstract

Effective training in the world of work, definitely requires the right method in improving the basic skills of employees. The appropriate method in building one's potential and competence by providing real experience is the learning by doing method. Learning by doing is an attempt to increase experience and knowledge through a learning process that combines learning while practicing, by prioritizing action rather than theory. The type of research used by the author is a qualitative descriptive approach, a method used to analyze research results, but is not used. to create more mature conclusions. The sources of data obtained in the research carried out are 1. Primary data sources include basic data obtained directly from the research object. 2. Secondary data sources include literature review of research journals. The learning by doing method directly develops affective, cognitive and emotional abilities. By increasing these competencies, students can maximize internships in carrying out their duties, and can become a benchmark or standardization in order to be able to compete in this increasingly wide world of work. Based on the results of the interview, the researcher can conclude that the training provided by the customer case sub unit, Pak Ahmad, in increasing the effectiveness of student internship services, has been quite effective in growing self-confidence and developing the competencies needed to compete in the world of work, although there is a sample of respondents lacking agree with the given method, but overall the interns accept it effectively.
