Children’s anxiety was problem that causes children to often delay dental treatment. Besides giving impact for children, children’s anxiety could hinder dentists and sental hygienist performance as well. The aim of this study was to determine the description of anxiety in elementary school children to dental care. The type of research used is literature study. Data was collected by collecting teh literature data and was analyzed by descriptive data analysis method. Literature study result showed that children’s anxiety could be affected by some factors, such as gender, age, visiting experince, and instrumen that get into the mouth. The level of children’s dental anxiety in elementary school showed that many children who feel not anxious with low level of anxiety than children who feel anxious with a high level of anxiety. The dental care that most elementary school children worried was extraction by infiltration (removal with anesthetic injection).

Dental health is important, especially for elementary school age children. The knowledge of parents, especially mothers, in improving dental and oral health has a significant influence on dental and oral health in children, because mothers are the closest people to children. The purpose of this research is to know the description of mother's knowledge in improving the dental and oral health of children in RT 01 Purwasari Village. This research method is descriptive research. The population of this study were 126 mothers who had children of primary school age, namely 6 to 12 years. Sampling by purposive sampling and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results showed that knowledge about how to brush teeth was 57.1% had good criteria, 32.1% had moderate criteria, and 10.7 was lacking. Knowledge about the time of brushing teeth there are 69.6% have good criteria and 30.4% have moderate criteria. And knowledge about healthy food for teeth there are 69.6% have good criteria, 26.8% have moderate criteria, and 3.6% have poor criteria. Mother's knowledge of dental and oral health needs to be maintained and increased through outreach activities from community health centers.

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2010, the number of deaf children in special schools throughout Indonesia was 5,610 people. This study aims to analyze differences in the results of dental and oral hygiene in deaf children in special schools in Bandung, Manado, and Magelang districts. The research method used is descriptive research with literature study, namely the collection of data collected, selected, searched, presented, and analyzed. The results of the literature review according to research’s in Bandung District stated that the OHI-S criteria for deaf children contained moderate and poor OHI-S criteria. The results of the research in Manado stated that the OHI-S of deaf children had good and moderate criteria. Meanwhile, the results of research conducted in Magelang City stated that the OHI-S of deaf children had good and moderate criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the diversity of OHI-S in deaf children in special schools cannot be separated from various factors that influence it, such as the condition of their disability, as well as the role of caregiver/helper/parents.

Computer vision syndrome (CVS) can appear in elementary school students as the behavior of using gadgets is not appropriate, the increase in SPK cases occurs during the Covid pandemic caused by prolonged use of gadgets. The American Optometric Association suggests preventing CVS by applying the 20.20.20 method when using gadgets and taking other precautions such as adjusting the length of use, visibility, lighting, sitting position, and others. Therefore, it is necessary for health promotion media for elementary school students to be able to implement CVS prevention by using a digital pop-up book, which describes SPK prevention behavior with an attractive appearance and can be accessed easily. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of digital pop-up book media method 20.20.20 on knowledge of preventing computer vision syndrome (SPK) in Cibogo 2 Elementary School students, Cianjur Regency in 2021. This study used pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest without control. . The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling as many as 69 elementary school students with an increase in knowledge of 51.60%. The normality test used Kolmogrof Smirnov with the results of the data is normally distributed and the Paired T-test to determine the effect with the results of p-value 0.000 < 0.005. The results of the analysis show that the digital pop-up book media method 20.20.20 affects knowledge of preventing computer vision syndrome (CVS) in Cibogo 2 Elementary School students, Cianjur Regency in 2021.

The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in Indonesia based on a doctor's diagnosis at the age of 15 years is 2%. The number of people with Diabetes Mellitus in West Java is 52,511 cases, while in Bandung it is 2,849 cases. Type 2 diabetes mellitus usually affects elderly individuals, but adolescents can also be affected by diabetes mellitus. WHO (2017) defines adolescence as a period of human development after childhood and before adulthood in the age range of 10-19 years. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent type 2 diabetes mellitus from an early age in adolescents by providing health education regarding the prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus through audio media. Knowing the effect of audio media on knowledge of prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus in class X adolescents at SMAN 9 Bandung. This type of research uses a pre- experimental design with one group pre-test-post-test design without control to a sample of 78 adolescents. The results of this study indicate the average value of knowledge before being given audio media is 62.49 and after being given audio media is 76.92, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the average knowledge of students by 23%. Data obtained by Kolmogrof Smirnov statistical test to determine the normality of the data, and Paired T-test to determine the effect between two variables that are normally distributed. Based on the Paired T-test, p value <0.05 was obtained. Audio media has an effect on increasing adolescent knowledge about prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Audio media can be used as a tool to provide health education to adolescents to increase knowledge about prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Corona Virus Disease 2019 is an infectious disease caused by the SarsCoV-2 virus. One of the causes of the ongoing increase in the number of Covid-19 cases is the lack of public awareness about the virus in RW 02, Cipadung Kidul Village, Panyileukan District, Bandung City. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education through poster media on the knowledge of people aged 19 – 30 years about Covid-19 in RW 02, Cipadung Kidul Subdistric, Panyileukan Distric, Bandung City. This research used a quantitative study design One Group Pretest Posttest Design with a quasi-experimental method. The subjects is 36 respondents from the community aged 19-30 years living in RW 02. The data collection was form of a pretest posttest questionnaire about knowledge of Covid-19. The results of the study found that the significance value was 0.000, which means it is smaller than the p value = <0.05, means Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. That’s means, there are effect of education through posters on the knowledge of people aged 19-30 years in RW 02, Cipadung Kidul Subdistric, Panyileukan District about Covid-19. The recommendation is the poster can be used as an alternative media to increase public knowledge that can be placed in where information.

Cibaliung Health Center as a first-level health service facility which is a benchmark for the success of health development should be able to provide good service quality so that it can provide satisfaction to patients. Patient satisfaction is obtained if the services provided are in accordance with their expectations. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of patient satisfaction with dental and oral health services at the Dental Poly UPT Cibaliung Health Center, Pandeglang City. Metode : This research is descriptive research. The sampling technique was carried out using an accidental sampling technique with a sample of 60 respondents. Data processing is carried out using a frequency distribution table of all answers filled out by respondents. Results: The results of the study on the description of patient satisfaction with dental and oral health services at the Dental Poly UPT Puskesmas Cibaliung illustrates that patient satisfaction with the satisfaction of the reliability of health workers in providing services with the largest percentage of the score is 98%, on the satisfaction of the response of health workers with a percentage of the total score of 100% on facilities and infrastructure with a percentage of the total score of 98% which states that respondents are satisfied with the services provided. Conclusion: that respondents are satisfied with the services provided.

Maintenance of oral health is important during pregnancy. Gingivitis during pregnancy is caused by an increase in the concentration of the hormon estrogen and progesterone. Gingivitis is one that is highly susceptible to periodontal disease occurs when the maintenance of oral health in pregnant women is not properly maintained. This study aims to determine the description of the gingivitis in pregnant women. Knowledge and actions to maintain dental and oral health in pregnant women greatly determine the status of the oral cavity and the health of pregnant women and their fetuses. This kind of research represents a study of literature. Data collection from Community Health Center in Garut was then analyzed using content analysis method. The results of secondary data collected and analyzed showed that pregnant women experienced more gingivitis in the first trimester in the first posyandu and second posyandu areas due to congenital hormonal factors in pregnant women. The Community Health Center is expected to further improve the dental and oral health service program for pregnant women such as promotive activities about the importance of maintaining oral health and hygiene during pregnancy, giving motivation and advice to pregnant women to check their oral health at the dentist at the same time during their pregnancy check-up.

Parents knowledge in dental care has a significant influence, so parents participation is needed in guiding, providing understanding, reminding children to maintain dental and oral hygiene, and preventing bad oral habits. Bad oral habits is a pattern of behavior that is carried out by a person repeatedly, spontaneously, and abnormally in the oral so that it interferes with the function of the oral cavity. Bad habits are the most common cause of malocclusion, the factors are frequency, intensity, and duration. This research is a descriptive study that aims to find out the description of knowledge about bad habits that affect malocclusion in preschool children. Samples were 33 parents parents who have pre-school age children in a kindergarten. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire about controlling cross infection which is presented online in the form of Google Form. The results showed that the knowledge of parents about bad habits that affect malocclusion in pre-school children on average has good criteria with a percentage of 97%.

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered and fatal type of coronavirus. The Minister of Education issued a Circular on the Implementation of Education in the Emergency Period of COVID-19, so learning activities are conducted online to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to see an overview of the effectiveness of online learning in students of 3rd D III Department of Dental Nursing Poltekkes Kemenkes Bandung during the COVID-19 pandemic. The benefits of this research can contribute to thinking and provide an overview of the effectiveness of online learning. This type of research is Descriptive research with data collection techniques using questionnaires through Google form. The subject of this study was a student of level 3 D III Department of Dental Nursing Poltekkes Bandung. The finding of the study showed online learning to run effectively (75.7%) with the Google Meet app. The obstacle that is often found is that the internet network is less stable, so students expect a monthly internet quota subsidy to facilitate online learning.
