Abstract

During pregnancy care, there were Braxton Hicks discomfort was found at 38-39 weeks of gestation, problems with irregular consumption of iron supplements and other mineral as well as discrepancies in maternal weight gain during pregnancy based on BMI category. As the fetus grows, the ligaments will stretch, making it easier to strain, which can lead to Braxton Hicks. According to Varney's theory in 2019 to overcome the discomfort of Braxton Hicks can be done by changing body position / body mechanics, relaxation techniques, and pregnancy exercises to stretch the muscles. Pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborn care based on midwifery management and midwifery care standards, the problem has been resolved. There is a difference between theory and practice, weight gain of the mother during pregnancy less than WHO standards, giving vitamin A supplements and antibiotics to postpartum mothers and repatriate mother and baby under 24 hours after delivery. It is expected that students will further improve their competence in providing comprehensive, early care and counseling and can provide comprehensive care for each patient they care for.

Abstract

The postpartum period is a vulnerable period for the mother, because at this time the reproductive organs recover after pregnancy and childbirth. If during recovery there are abnormal changes it will cause complications that can threaten the mother's life. About 60% of maternal deaths occur after delivery of which are caused by complications during the puerperium, one of which is bleeding. To prevent postpartum hemorrhage, you can facilitate the mother to do oxytocin massage, oxytocin massage helps the release of the hormone oxytocin which can cause uterine contractions and affect the process of releasing breast milk smoothly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of oxytocin massage on uterine involution and milk ejection. This study refers to the results of a case study of comprehensive midwifery care carried out in Subang with a respondent of one postpartum mother with a background of never getting oxytocin massage in her first child pregnancy and not exclusive breastfeeding, in her second child pregnancy when continuous oxytocin massage has been carried out and causes involution. The mother's uterus becomes normal and faster compared to the first child's puerperium and the release of breast milk becomes smooth, so that the mother avoids postpartum hemorrhage and can breastfeed her baby exclusively.

Abstract

Abstract

Preeklampsi (PE) is an abnormality that occurs in pregnancy, which is characterized by an increase in blood pressure, appearance of urine protein and signs of organ damage that generally occurs above the gestational age of 20 weeks. The cause of PE is not yet known, but the problem thought to be related is the presence of placental malperfusion associated with abnormalities of maternal spiralist artery remodeling. The method of enforcing the diagnosis of PE that is still used today uses standard blood pressure enhancement, protein urine examination and other clinical conditions. Pregnant women are often diagnosed with PE have been accompanied by the condition of the IUGR fetus, or the mother with seizures because it has entered the eclampsia phase. These condition need another examination that can support the enforcement of PE diagnosis to predict the risk of PE in pregnancy, especially in at-risk groups. This mini review discusses the detection of PE using examination of blood vessel growth factors such as Placental Growth Factor (PIGF) dan soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase 1 (sFlt-1). Some research results show an increase in sFIT-1 levels and decrease in PIGF levels associated with PE conditions. sFlt-1 and PlGF ratios can be predictors for PE events.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding for six months is very important for the survival of the child. Many factors influence exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months, namely malnutrition and overnutrition, which also arise as a result of feeding before the baby is 6 months old. The leaves of the wakes have the potential as lactagogues, indicated by the presence of saponins, flavonoids and polyphenols so that they can increase breastfeeding hormones such as prolactin and oxytocin. This study aims to see the effectiveness of giving Bangun-Bangun Brownis (Coleus Ambonicus Lour) on milk production. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research design with one group pretest-postest. with control. The sample was 72 hour post partum mothers (aged 17-40 years) with a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis consisted of univariate analysis with different test with Wilcoxon sign rank test and Mann Whitney test. The results of the research with the Wilcoxon sign rank test showed that there was a significant difference or p-value of 0.001 <0.05 in the volume of breast milk between the volume of milk at the 1st pumping and 15th in the intervention compared to the control group. In the Mann Whitney test, there was a significant difference in breast milk volume where the significance value or p-value was 0.000 <0.05, so there was a significant difference in breast milk volume between the intervention and control groups after treatment. Giving brownis awakening can effective increase breast milk production for breastfeeding mothers and is an alternative breast milk booster.

Abstract

The process of childbirth is identical to the pain that will be endured. Labor pain is caused by the contraction of the uterus in an attempt to give birth. Coping with labor pain is by means of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. One way of non-pharmacological management to reduce labor pain is with Endorphin Massage. This EBCR aims to determine the effect of Endorphin Massage on the intensity of pain in the first stage of labor. The method used is literature review with experimental design research design. Search sources use 2 databases, namely: Google Scholar and Portal Garuda with the year 2016-2021 published. Giving Endorphin Massage for 5-15 minutes and it is proven that the mother feels more relaxed and the pain is reduced because when given endorphin massage therapy physiologically the mother's body will stimulate the release of endogenous analgesics (endorphins), so that it can inhibit pain transmission by increasing the circulation of neurotransmitters and lowering the system. sympathetic nerves so that there is a decrease in muscle tension, a decrease in anxiety and pain will decrease. Conclusion Endorphin Massage is an effective way to reduce pain in the first stage of labor.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The postpartum period is the process after the birth of the placenta until the return of the female reproductive organs before pregnancy. In Indonesia, the incidence of births by caesarean section in 2019 was 28.9%. This incidence has the potential to cause infection in caesarean section wounds. Efforts to heal wounds have several factors including nutrition, mobilization, vitamins, and wound care. One of the nutrients that can help wound healing is protein, namely snakehead fish which has albumin protein which is useful for the wound healing process. The purpose of making this Evidence Based Case Report is to find out that snakehead fish can help heal wounds during the puerperium with a history of post caesarean section. The Evidence Based Case Report method used is by searching for evidence through E Data Based from pubmed, Cochrane and google schoolar. This research used the full text inclusion criteria, Randomized Control Trial (RCT) research design, English and Indonesian language, and based on another researches in 2011-2021. According to the purpose of the Evidence Based Case Report, we used three journals in this research, The results of this research can be a solution for the wound healing process in caesarean section. The albumin content produced by amino acids in snakehead fish can improve the wound healing process for caesarean section. The consumption of snakehead fish per day is 100 grams per day.
