Abstract

Obesity is a condition of weight that exceeds normal weight. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of energy intake, physical activity, duration of gadget use and the incidence of obesity in students of The Great State Elementary School of Cirebon City. The study used cross sectional design, a sample used in the study of 37 students. Energy intake data collection uses the 24-hour recall method, while to determine physical activity using The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C) method and the duration of gadget use using questionnaires. The results showed students who had a sufficient energy intake of 89.2%, and more energy intake as much as 10.8%, low physical activity as much as 73% and high physical activity as much as 27%, the duration of high gadget use as much as 59.5% and the duration of low gadget use as much as 40.5%, students who had obese nutritional status as much as 78.4% and nutritional status.

Abstract

Based on data from Indonesia's health profile in 2011, dyspepsia ranks 5th out of the top 10 inpatient diseases in hospitals and 6th out of 10 outpatient diseases in 2010. Diet includes the type, frequency, and amount of food that is not appropriate. can affect the work of the stomach as one of the factors that greatly influence the occurrence of dyspepsia syndrome in adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of eating patterns with the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome in late adolescence. The research design used is Systematic Literature Review. The sample used is 7 research journals. There were five studies with the results that there was a relationship between dyspepsia syndrome and diet (p= 0.000; p= 0.001; p= 0.006; p= 0.001; p= 0.003). Meanwhile, two studies showed that there was no relationship between diet and the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome, although the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome was greater in respondents with poor eating patterns (p = 0.987; p = 0.35). It is hoped that further research will use inclusion criteria that are more in line with the results of the study.

Abstract

Masalah gizi yang sering terjadi pada remaja di Indonesia khususnya remaja putri adalah anemia defisiensi besi. Remaja putri lebih berisiko terkena anemia karena mengalami menstruasi setiap bulan dan sedang dalam masa pertumbuhan sehingga membutuhkan asupan zat besi yang lebih banyak. Kacang hijau dan kedelai merupakan salah satu sumber zat besi yang mudah ditemukan di masyarakat. Kedua bahan ini bisa digunakan untuk membuat makanan ringan, misalnya kue kering yang sangat populer di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat organoleptik dan nilai gizi formula green cookies kedelai tepung kacang hijau dan tepung kedelai. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan 3 jenis perlakuan (75%: 25%, 50%: 50%, 25%: 75%). Cookies dari 3 perlakuan berbeda diuji sifat organoleptiknya dengan uji hedonik oleh 30 panelis terlatih yang meliputi kesukaan warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur, dan keseluruhan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, cookies formula A memiliki daya terima yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan formula B dan formula C. Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai gizi masakan, cookies formula A mengandung energi 238.347 kkal, protein 5,603 g, protein 14,842 g. lemak, 21.724 g karbohidrat, dan 1.404 mg Fe. . Bagi masyarakat yang ingin membuat soy green cookies dari segi organoleptik dan nilai gizi disarankan menggunakan formula A. Cookies formula A mengandung energi 238.347 kkal, protein 5,603 g, lemak 14.842 g, karbohidrat 21.724 g, dan Fe 1.404 mg. . Bagi masyarakat yang ingin membuat soy green cookies dari segi organoleptik dan nilai gizi disarankan menggunakan formula A. Cookies formula A mengandung energi 238.347 kkal, protein 5,603 g, lemak 14.842 g, karbohidrat 21.724 g, dan Fe 1.404 mg. . Abstract

Online food/beverage ordering applications have become a growing trend in society. People are no stranger to online food ordering applications with various conveniences and services that are an attraction. Orders can be made anywhere and anytime, without having to come to the seller's place. Ordering food/beverages online is very practical, easy, fast, and saves time, especially for consumers who don't have free time to go to a restaurant.However, in addition to the benefits of using an online food ordering application, if the food selection is not appropriate and the use of the application is done excessively, it will certainly affect the health of the body. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the behavior of food/beverage selection through online applications for students at the Health Polytechnic Bandung. The research design used a survey design cross-sectional and used a random sampling with a sample size of 188 students. This research was conducted from January 2021 to February 2021 by filling out online questionnaires using Google Forms. The results of this study indicate that most students who order food through online applications have poor behavior, namely as many as 101 students (53.7%), the level of knowledge is good, namely as many as 108 students (57.4%), and good attitudes, namely as many as 121 students (56.9%). It is hoped that students will be wiser in choosing food/beverages through online applications by applying the health knowledge that has been obtained while studying at the Health Polytechnic Bandung.

Abstract

eenagers often judge their body shape and want to have a body shape like other people, so they go on a strict diet which is not necessarily safe. Fad Diet is a diet that promises very fast weight loss but does not consider side effects. The purpose of this study was to study the description of knowledge of fad diet, balanced nutrition, and perception of body image in adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 2 Majalaya, Bandung Regency. The research design used was cross sectional. The population of this study were all students of class XI majoring in science at SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya. The total sample is 90 people. Data collection includes general data, anthropometry, fad diet knowledge, balanced nutrition knowledge, and body image perception. Data was collected using a google form which was sent through the whatsapp group media. The results showed that the description of fad diet knowledge did not significantly affect the perception of body image. It is shown that the sample who has sufficient and good knowledge still has a dominant negative body image. The description of the relationship between knowledge of balanced nutrition does not really affect the perception of body image. It is shown that the sample who has sufficient and good knowledge is still dominant in having a negative body image perception.

Abstract

An imbalance in nutrient adequacy levels can cause nutritional problems, both undernutrition, and overnutrition. Adolescent energy needs are influenced by activity, basal metabolism, and the increased need to support accelerated growth and development during adolescence, while protein requirements in adolescents are determined by the amount of protein to support lean body mass and the amount of protein needed to increase lean body mass during accelerated growth. . This research was conducted with a cross-sectional design, a minimum sample of 44 people, taken by simple random sampling. The data collected included data on energy intake, protein intake, using 24-hour recall, physical activity using a 24-hour record of physical activity, and nutritional status obtained using anthropometric measurements and weighing. The study found that 81.8% had less energy intake, 90.9% had less protein intake and 45.5% of female students had light physical activity, 54.5% had moderate activity and 13.6% of female students had poor nutritional status, 65, 9% had normal nutritional status, 15.9% overweight and 4.5% obese. The proportion of samples with less energy intake had a poor nutritional status of 16.7% or higher than good intake. The proportion of samples with low protein intake had a 15% or higher nutritional status than those with good protein intake.

Abstract

Obesity is a global health problem.  Recently, the composition of the gut microbiota, especially Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes, has been suggested to be one of the factors that play a role in the incidence of obesity.  The purpose of this study was to describe the composition of Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes in obesity.  The research design used is a literature study.  The literature used is journals that meet the inclusion criteria, namely a total of 6 articles.  The results of the literature study showed that there were different results on the composition of the gut microbiota in obesity.  Several journals showed that the composition of Firmicutes increased and Bacteroidetes decreased in obesity, while other studies showed Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes increased in the obese group compared to the normal weight group.  Furthermore, in another study, it was found that Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes were higher in the lean group compared to the obese group.  However, it was also found that there was no clear difference between the phyla Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes according to BMI

Abstract

Jaundice is the number 2 cause of death in newborns in Indonesia. Jaundice is a common problem in infants and if not treated immediately can lead to an emergency. Based on data from the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia in 2015, 9% of infant mortality was caused by jaundice. One way to reduce the amount of jaundice in newborns is to breastfeed as soon as possible after the baby is born because breast milk can increase intestinal motility and introduce bacteria to the intestine. If the baby isn’t breastfeeding, or breastfeeding less often, the baby may become dehydrated, buildup bilirubin and eventually develop jaundice.This evidence-based case report aimed to analyze the effect of frequency and duration of breastfeeding on the incidence of jaundice in newborns. Articles were searched through PubMed and Cochrane. One prospective cohort article was obtained, analyzed by Chi-square test, T-test, and Fisher fit test by Sukwadee Ketsuwan, Nongyao Baiya, et al. was suitable to the small research to be done. After critical review, the study by Sukwadee and Nongyao, et al. is valid, important, and applicable to patients. There is a statistically significant difference in the parameters of breastfeeding with jaundice in newborns.. Key words: effect, frequency, duration, breastfeeding, jaundice, newborn

Abstract

The prenatal period until toddlerhood is referred as the golden period because of the growth and development of brain cells. Early stimulation can affect the infants growth and development through various pathways. One of the early stimulation is through gentle touches such as baby massage and baby gym. A study shows that one third of children in developing countries do not achieve optimal growth and development. Based on 2016 Ministry of Health data, 27.7% of children under five were stunted thus can affect the cognitive and socio-emotional development of children. Research conducted in the Jakarta area shows that the prevalence of developmental delays in children aged 3-60 months were around 10%. Stimulation that the baby receives directly affects the brain development and increase in the baby's weight. Diego et al in 2005 showed infant massage effectively increase premature babies body weight with an average of 31-49% and was followed by an increase in head circumference and height. This EBCR aims to determine the effect of massage on infants aged 3-6 months. The method used is Evidence Based Case Report using 3 databases, namely: Google Scholar, Garuda Portal and Pubmed with the year published 2019. The inclusion criteria used were full text articles, English / Indonesian, there are four journals that can be used in accordance with the objectives of the Evidance Based Case Report. The results shows that stimulation in the form of baby massage and baby gym can improve the quality and quantity of baby sleeping periode, and build affection between mother and baby.   Keywords: Infant massage, Infants aged 3-6 months, and sleep quality.

Abstract

Eating behavior is one of the risk factors for increasing blood pressure in adolescence. Behavior that is thought to cause an increase in blood pressure in adolescents is the consumption of fruit and vegetables and high sodium intake. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of fruit and vegetable intake, high sodium intake, and hypertension in adolescents in Babakan Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. The research design used was cross sectional with 36 respondents. Data were collected primary, data on consumption of fruit and vegetables intake and high sodium intake were used semiquantitative food frequency questionnaire (SFFQ); Blood pressure data was collected based on the results of measurements using a digital blood pressure meter. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively, it was found that the respondents who had hypertension were 75.0%; 50.0% of respondents consuming less fruit and vegetables: 50.0% of respondents consuming high-sodium foods. Bivariate descriptive analysis showed that 77.8% of respondents with hypertension had less intake of fruit and vegetables; 77.8% of respondents with hypertension have a high intake of high sodium foods. It is recommended to increase cooperation with the puskesmas and other parties to provide youth education related to the consumption of fruit and vegetables as an effort to prevent non-communicable diseases
